18/08/2026: A small, impromptu family lunch on a Wednesday. A very warm welcome in a beautifully decorated dining room with a distinctly animal theme. The food was very well prepared and cooked. The service was very quick; the dishes may have been prepared a little in advance, but this seems necessary given that the restaurant is run by a couple who work with as many local products as possible. A very pleasant atmosphere; the dining room was three-quarters full but not at all noisy. We will gladly return.

26/08/2026: We were looking for a place to have lunch that would also accept our small dog, and thanks to Google Maps, we stumbled upon the Auberge de Cousteau. It's a real gem we discovered; we were delighted. The welcome was very friendly. The dishes are generous and delicious, made primarily with fresh, homemade ingredients, such as the duck. The foie gras is to die for, and the value for money is exceptional. It's truly a fantastic place that I highly recommend.

21/07/2026: Rare are those moments when we allow ourselves a moment of pure pleasure, yet that's precisely the definition of time spent at a restaurant. It's been a long time since I've had such a wonderful experience. We were fortunate to receive a warm welcome and guidance from the chef, one of those rare, passionate employees who made this a truly magical moment. We started with a plate of homemade ham and foie gras, followed by red mullet with peppers and confit pork loin with mashed potatoes. Next came a small tasting plate of the rare sheep's cheese, and then dessert: chocolate fondant (we've never had such delicious ones!) and Armagnac baba. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you can, ask to see the chef! 😉 See you soon!
