13/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Les Estables. We had a very pleasant time in this welcoming restaurant.
The food is simple yet truly delicious. The grilled steak was perfectly cooked and served with a very generous portion of fries.
The service is attentive and the atmosphere is friendly, ideal for a delicious break. We will gladly return.

04/08/2026: A huge thank you to the new team at Le Chardon Bleu who saved our wedding meal. We had a wonderful time thanks to you and enjoyed delicious food (special mention for the exotic Bavarian cream). The service was seamless and professional, and your welcome was very warm.
We will definitely be back for another occasion, or even just for no particular reason.

13/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in Le Puy-en-Velay. The setting is truly charming, with its warm and elegant decor that immediately invites you to linger.
The cuisine lives up to the ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed generous portions, beautifully presented on lovely plates. The cooking was perfect, and every bite was a pure delight.
Everything was in place for a very pleasant experience. A gourmet discovery to be repeated without hesitation.

29/03/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times; the food is excellent, and the service is too, except this time. The service was provided by trainees who took away our appetizers before we'd even started. It was the same with the main course; one of us hadn't finished, while the trainee cleared the table quickly.
Everything was very rushed; we didn't have time to enjoy it. It was the first time we'd introduced our cousins to this restaurant.
What a shame.

30/07/2026: Bar/restaurant with a daily special. Simple ingredients, simple but high-quality cuisine.
The appetizer buffet was very good, a small but varied selection, the salads were well-seasoned, and the quiches were nice. Good quality ingredients.
The homemade dessert was also impeccable, good value for money. Local farm yogurt and a type of fresh, raw-milk curd cheese.
A great find!

21/08/2026: A wonderful discovery. Excellent location for exploring the region. The dovecote room is very pleasant and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts, served in a magnificent room, are generous and of high quality. The house is beautiful. We were able to have a picnic in the garden one evening, which was lovely. The owners are charming, discreet, and offered great advice for sightseeing. I highly recommend it.
01/06/2026: Hello, we were passing through with our family of eight, including lunch, overnight stay, and a generous breakfast. A charming, quiet stone inn with a very warm welcome. The food was excellent, and the little candle for our daughter's birthday was a lovely touch. The prices were reasonable, and the owners and staff were delightful.
Don't hesitate to come.

A special mention to the owner, who, like me, worked by the lake; it's nice to reminisce about the good old days. We'll definitely be back.
