15/12/2025: Sunday family meal. Excellent restaurant with a fantastic team and a very warm welcome. An excellent meal. Everything is homemade with quality ingredients. Very good value for money. The service is excellent. The owner is wonderful. Book before you come.

26/08/2026: Like everyone has said, eating here is like eating at your best friend's house as a child. Very obviously home-cooked warmth. Go with the plats de jeur (two-meat meatball in tomato on rice when I ate here) and the house dessert (creme caramel) is equally delicious and comforting. An excellent diversion from the gastro brasserie fare. 100% would visit again.

06/08/2026: A perfect overnight stop on our holiday journey. The staff were very friendly, the room spacious, and the pool fantastic. The breakfast was amazing, featuring local products. We highly recommend this establishment.

28/06/2026: Good service, excellent professional team. Perhaps the decor could be improved in some areas, but this didn't detract from an excellent stay. The pool was a welcome and very pleasant addition. A highly recommended stop on the way south. Very quiet, surprisingly so given the nearby road. A peaceful night.

09/08/2026: A bit noisy, but a very appealing buffet option, featuring mostly fresh, local produce. Two main courses to choose from and a variety of desserts. Excellent value for money!

06/07/2026: Location: Excellent, with a large, quiet, and relaxing park. Room: Perfect: Super clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly! Breakfast: Superb! A very complete and well-organized buffet! A real treat! Food: Very few local products! Not even Puy lentils... the menu is very limited. What a shame! Furthermore, the chef is, in my opinion, overwhelmed too easily...

20/06/2026: June 2026: Back from Corsica, we decided to explore here for two days using our Smartbox voucher. When we arrived, we were able to park in a small, shaded shed ☀️, which was very convenient 👍. We received a warm welcome from our hostess, Sonia, who showed us to our room (comfort type) on the second floor, which we climbed on foot. Please note, there is no elevator ☹️, so it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility 🧑‍🦽. I noticed 🧐 during my climb that some of the stair slats were missing and that the carpet was old and could definitely use a refresh 🔨🪛🪣🧽 (see photos). We appreciated the small bottle of water and sachets of coffee and chocolate provided, but we were disappointed that for a "comfort" room, there was no air conditioning or small refrigerator ☹️, whereas most of the hotels we've stayed in had these. The infinity pool (with saltwater) is very beautiful and pleasant for cooling off, but unfortunately not very practical for swimming. It's worth noting that the waterfall adds a special charm to the whole place 👍. The hotel also has a gym, a billiards room, and a jacuzzi (which we didn't use). Breakfast is a real treat, with something for everyone (both sweet and savory) 😋. The hotel is also located in the middle of a magnificent pine forest, which makes you feel close to nature 🥰. In short, we had a pleasant stay at this place 🙂.

04/06/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at the end of May celebrating Julie and Cyrill's wedding. This hotel and restaurant is very peaceful, the food is excellent, and the nights are restful and pleasant. Numerous activities are available on-site (swimming pool, jacuzzi, paddleboarding, hiking, treetop adventure park, etc.). The hotel has a family history, with four generations having run it since the 1940s, and it's still going strong today. Thank you to the manager and the entire team.

14/06/2026: A lovely establishment with a warm and unpretentious welcome and excellent, refined home-style cooking. A great place for motorcyclists in the Allier and Puy-de-Dôme regions.

30/08/2026: A pleasant surprise, as it wasn't advertised on any traffic websites. Homemade dishes, served with a smile. The restaurant gradually filled up. A single, but perfect, menu. Thank you.

18/08/2026: €44 set menu without wine. Very good service, although a slightly more generous portion would have been beneficial. Sommelier service was average. The staff lacked genuine empathy and simply recited their scripts. Given the reputation of this upscale brasserie, I was left rather unsatisfied. Good, but... (Like everything in France, things are gradually declining.) Very negative: extremely slow service.

17/08/2026: The food is excellent and the service is perfect. The only downside: it's a shame the manager is so unfriendly and seems only interested in taking your money.

14/09/2026: Excellent sourdough bakery, delicious breakfast pastries. They have a corner with tables for breakfast.

31/08/2026: The service was okay, nothing special. However, the roast chicken sandwich was fantastic; I could actually taste the real chicken, unlike in most bakeries. Definitely the best chicken sandwich I've ever had.

02/05/2026: The airport is easily accessible. The terminal is very well-equipped despite being relatively quiet. There's a restaurant right next door, which is a bonus for pilots passing through.

17/04/2026: Airport with relatively little traffic other than skydiving. Otherwise, a well-equipped platform with on-site catering.

04/09/2026: Discovered on my way home from visiting the collegiate church, I stumbled upon a magical little restaurant. Homemade dishes, fresh produce, homegrown vegetables, superb and delicious cuisine…right down to the homemade herbal tea and honey…a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, a decor filled with books…thank you for your hospitality, I will definitely be back 🌟💫😉

02/07/2026: The restaurant has just changed; it's now a pizzeria, and it's definitely worth it! They have several tomato-based pizzas, some cream-based ones, and salads. The service was impeccable, and there was very little wait, even though it was opening day. And it might just be the best pizza I've ever had!

14/09/2026: A truly beautiful and remarkable site. The inn occupies the site of a former medieval hospital, isolated in the middle of nowhere, which sets it apart from other guesthouses on the GR65 and is precisely part of its appeal. I particularly enjoyed dinner, featuring excellent local produce and served around long tables that encourage conversation. I found the dishes delicious and original. A surprising cheese platter accompanied by a jelly made with a local flower: meadowsweet. Sorbets, yogurts, honey, and more: many local or homemade products. Midway through the meal, the team spoke about the project and how the inn operates. A truly unique stop, well worth the detour.
