31/10/2025: We had lunch at this country restaurant on October 28, 2025, in the purest tradition of this type of establishment. The owner gave us a friendly, smiling, and warm welcome, even though there were only two of us dining. We enjoyed the local aperitif, Lo Cul Dra Haut, made with kirsch and cherry syrup. Then came a very generous country-style menu: omelet, sausage, salad, cheeses (a tasting plate), and tart. Alsatian white wine by the glass was also available (very good). The owner was open to conversation while respecting local traditions. So, if you're out hiking, stop by Gaby's and give it a try!

14/03/2026: An incredible restaurant with outstanding cuisine. Super friendly owners, a perfect atmosphere. A must-try! The supreme of chicken stuffed in the Franche-Comté style and the beef fillet with morels are absolutely delicious. Don't forget this address.

09/03/2026: A great restaurant for everyday dining. Maybe stop by for lunch. Real meals, not just fast food. Just like Mom used to make. Good value and plenty of food. For RVers: You can wash your vehicle, refuel, grab a bite to eat, and shop at ACHUN in the parking lot.

28/09/2025: After veering off the beaten track, taking shortcuts where two vehicles couldn't possibly pass each other, we finally arrived at this famous little canalside shop, well-known locally but still unknown to those looking for authentic gastronomy 🥺. So we put our gaiters on at 7 p.m. 🕖 (and dust) by the canal. The sun was already setting, but the atmosphere was cozy, with a little background music, a nice terrace, and a warm welcome from the little waitress 😆. After a short wait, the dishes were served and truly met our expectations: mussels at will, and for me, grilled sardines (like in Porquerolles 🤩 chic), it was my dream 🥺. We exchanged a few jokes with the friendly waitress (Zoé (?)) 😆 Yes, she's funny, mischievous, talkative, and brave, given that there aren't many trips back and forth 🤩. The delicious desserts were savored while blankets were kindly offered to us as the night's chill and the humidity from the Saint-Albin Canal fell on the banks. In Short: 🥺—>> I recommend <<—🥺

06/03/2026: The state of the toilets is bordering on unsanitary (foul odors, clogged male urinals, traces of feces and urine in the female toilets, overflowing bins, dirty sinks and faucets). Service was slow despite the restaurant being relatively empty. I wonder what the kitchen must be like, given the state of the toilets/sanitary facilities, as it's often said that the toilets reflect the cleanliness and hygiene standards of an establishment. Management needs to take action.

19/01/2026: To celebrate his birthday, our son had the excellent idea of ​​taking us to this lovely restaurant for the second time, but I must say we were disappointed, as the price didn't match the quality of the meal. We didn't enjoy the food as much; the side dishes were too small, and the desserts were overpriced. The owner's lack of friendliness was also a drawback.

14/03/2026: Well... Overall, there are quite a few things that aren't right... It's overpriced... If you don't look at the pizza menu, there's only one dish under €20: ravioli. For a starter, main course, dessert, and drink, expect to pay at least €50... The food... Very salty. Not bad in itself, but... But at this price... You expect better. The atmosphere: with a group of people who've had a lot of drinks and a birthday party at the next table... Don't expect a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The service: disorganized... I can't think of any other word for it...

11/03/2026: €50 for a pizza, a salad, and two glasses of wine is expensive, especially the €19 country salad, which frankly wasn't very generous or particularly tasty. The service wasn't satisfactory either; we had to ask twice and finally received the carafe of water at the end of the meal.
