27/08/2026: While visiting Vesoul, we were given a restaurant recommendation in the shops. We arrived at the lovely terrace.
The set menu (chicken strips in Vin Jaune sauce, mashed potatoes, and tiramisu for dessert) was excellent and very well presented.
A very friendly waiter (who is leaving soon, unfortunately 😭) and waitress 👍. A place to try without hesitation.

06/09/2026: After a lovely walk, we visited Belfahy. We enjoyed a shandy and the superb homemade blueberry tart with delicious homemade whipped cream. As beautiful as it was tasty. The staff were welcoming and the service was quick. The setting was perfect for a mountain get-together. It was the ideal time after a 3.5-hour hike with the children. We'll definitely be back.
30/08/2026: We stopped for dessert at the end of our hike. It was made quite clear that we weren't a priority over those eating there, even though they hadn't yet ordered their desserts. So we had to wait a long time before enjoying our dessert, which was delicious, but not very customer-friendly.

A great time spent at La Guillaume; for those who don't know it, this is a place worth discovering.

The meal...perfect!
Everything was delicious!
I mentioned that I'm vegetarian, and all the dishes on the menu were adapted to be suitable for me. I appreciated being able to eat almost the same as the other guests.
14/06/2026: A truly beautiful place. We opted for the menu with wine pairings. Impeccable from the amuse-bouche to dessert. Excellent value for money. Bravo!

09/09/2026: Very bad last night, had two mineral waters with lemon syrup and had to pay 10.60 euros for them! Three of us got a steak menu, the steak was full of muscle, tendon, and bone! 24.95, inedible! This is the second time I've been ripped off here! I'm driving right past this place!
05/09/2026: Excellent rest stop, very warm welcome from the staff, even though I was the only woman there 😄 We ate very well, and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. If you're passing through, stop by; you won't regret it. The truckers are also very friendly, I can confirm. We'll definitely stop again next time we're on this road.

10/09/2026: Had a great meal. The set menu. It was a surprise because the French was a bit too fast for me. So I said, "Go ahead."
Well, that was a good choice. Lovely people and a wonderful garden terrace.
"The set menu"? Just do it.
No regrets and no hunger afterwards.
The price? Well, that was quite a shock. Just much lower than expected. "A drop of money," my father would have said.

16/08/2026: What an absolutely fantastic place. No menu, you get what has been cooked on the day. We stayed close by for 5 nights and visited 3 times for dinner. Food, service, drinks and atmosphere were fantastic.
Don’t let the lack of menu put you off, it’s a fantastic place.
