08/08/2026: Magnificent place! As soon as you walk in, you're in Saint-Loup-sur-Semouse, no doubt about it. And inside the restaurant, it's sublime. Then you go out onto the terrace, and all that's missing is the sound of cicadas. You find a little touch of the southwest, where you feel good, you want to stay for hours savoring the love you find in the dishes, worthy of a five-star restaurant. Pure bliss, you're on cloud nine, and then you wake up and they say, "I'll bring you the bill..." Oh, it's already over! But if you want to taste everything and dream again and again, the doors will always be open for new adventures. Kisses to Jérôme and Vincent, as well as all the team who are there every day to make this place an extraordinary experience for our taste buds...

20/08/2026: We received a very warm and friendly welcome at this restaurant. The owners are very attentive to their customers, and the setting is beautiful. The food was superb, generous, and delicious. Thanks also to Noël, their apprentice, who made our experience wonderful and was very attentive to our needs.

27/08/2026: While visiting Vesoul, we were given a restaurant recommendation in the shops. We arrived at the lovely terrace. The set menu (chicken strips in Vin Jaune sauce, mashed potatoes, and tiramisu for dessert) was excellent and very well presented. A very friendly waiter (who is leaving soon, unfortunately 😭) and waitress 👍. A place to try without hesitation. Thank you for this wonderful discovery 🫶

12/07/2026: An outdoor wedding, a little slice of paradise for the children who could play and run around, and for us adults who could enjoy ourselves too! The meal was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. The presentation of the dishes was superb! The meat was so tender! The service and kindness of all the staff were wonderful. They took such good care of the younger children, so attentive! We will definitely be back! A huge thank you, a very happy family.

16/05/2026: My wife and I were making a quick stop near Vesoul to take possession of a property we'd bought in the area. We'd looked into restaurants in the region and had decided to go to one in a larger town, either Vesoul or Luxeuil. And then, during our conversation with the seller, he recommended Restaurant Rémy in Saint-Loup. "You'll see," he said, "they offer everything from a classic menu to a gourmet menu." We went to Saint-Loup without much enthusiasm. Wow! A magnificent building! The courtyard is extraordinary! So, we went inside. Wow! The decor was perfectly suited to the occasion. Wow! The dining room was impeccably designed. We took our seats, and the owner gave us a choice between the "gourmet menu" (the quick option) or the "gastronomic menu" (very tempting). We had 200 km to drive home, so we opted for the gourmet menu. She then presented us with the menu, featuring incredible ingredients. We nodded, not quite knowing what was in store for us. Here we are. The amuse-bouche (made with ingredients we would never have thought of) arrives. "Enjoy your meal, my love!" Incredible, amazing, delicious! Now for the starter! Incredible, amazing, delicious. And this continued right through to dessert. I should add that the wine was excellent as well. And then, it was time to leave! We had carefully read the menu before coming in, but "This is impossible," I told ourselves! "It's a meal costing over €50/€60 (per person)!" Drumroll: Less than €40 per person. Bravo, congratulations, excellent, delicious, to the chef first and foremost, to the staff, for bringing these exceptional flavors and combinations to life in this superb setting, this tradition of a love for food. Ahhh, how disappointed we'll be next time we go to a restaurant near us. (They're excellent, but not the same.) Note: I'm absolutely not the type to write reviews that will be read by the whole of France, but unfortunately, it has happened far too often that we've been disappointed, even very disappointed, by the food. So I'm sorry for writing such a long rant, but it was necessary, for them, for tradition, for the obligation to eat properly. Thanks again, and I hope to see you very soon.

09/08/2026: The meal was great, but at the next table there was a very large dog in the middle of the aisle. Very disappointed that there was a dog in the restaurant.

31/07/2026: An ideal place to enjoy a good, well-prepared, and simple meal. The blueberry tart was delicious. The staff is very welcoming and efficient, doing everything to make you feel comfortable. Well done to the owners! Beautiful region. We'll be back!

04/08/2026: What can I say? Exceptional service with smiling, pleasant, and professional waitresses, especially Élodie. A delicious, generous meal—even our biggest eaters couldn't finish their plates. It's wonderful to experience such a warm welcome and such a delightful culinary experience. Go without hesitation, but keep your mouth open. Brilliant.

04/08/2026: Saturday evening, a beautiful setting, a very original menu, generous portions, and a lovely presentation of the dishes and drinks. The diverse and original flavors were a refreshing change. We'll definitely be back and will tell everyone about it. (The eggs meurette were cooked to a surprising perfection; I've never seen anything like it, and they were delicious.) Friendly staff.

26/07/2026: We had the pleasure of discovering this charming village restaurant during a day trip by bike. A warm welcome, attentive owners, and excellent traditional cuisine, all at a very reasonable price (€18 on a Saturday lunchtime for a starter, main course, and dessert). If we have the chance, we will gladly return!

29/07/2026: Unfortunately, two out of four starters were sold out, and at least one out of four main courses was also sold out. And the menu is already limited. There were ants on the table and hair in the basket. No apologies, just a curt "I'll change it for you" from the rather unpleasant waitress. I came in May 2025 and everything was perfect; I'm very disappointed and won't be back.
