16/01/2026: Cheese runs in my veins thanks to the Crêperie du Moulin and their gargantuan morel fondue. I pounded it all with Reine Blanche beer, and I can assure you it was worth it! The place to go for anyone who wants to get properly stuffed and roll home. Bravo! I recommend the owner's chocolate mousse.

24/02/2026: The best restaurant experience in Chamonix. A small menu, but all of high quality. My personal favorites were the champagne fondue, the fondues in general, and the pela. A small, intimate restaurant with a sunny terrace offering incredible views of Mont Blanc. And above all, a local owner, the antithesis of large chains. Excellent welcome, friendliness, service, and food. I shouldn't even write this review for fear of not getting a table.

03/02/2026: Good restaurant, but we found the service a little rushed. The tomato fondue was a lovely discovery. We were slightly disappointed with the quality of the charcuterie platter served as an extra (€9), which didn't seem to be locally sourced.

28/02/2026: Excelent pizza în a great location! I was there during the winter but I bet in the summer is great to sit down and enjoy some pizza with friends. I had la piratella which was expertly cooked!

20/02/2026: I was very happy with this restaurant. You'll need to make a reservation and you won't be disappointed. We had a small french vocabulary but they took care of us. The food was amazing! If they have a special I would highly suggest it. The food and service was top notch. I'm going to this place again before I go back the the US. 100% would recommend everyone to go if they are close to Argentière.

28/01/2026: The rustic wooden atmosphere with smoking saucison and meat was cosy and homey. We ordered the 59chf set meal where each plate from starter to the main - crispy roast pork belly was so good yet juicy. I had the fish dumpling with lobster sauce that comes with a mini risotto as my main so very tasty and unique. For dessert, if you opt in, you will go to the buffet style table to fetch your dessert, fun! Will come back for other dishes. Suggest to book in advance🥘🍖🥟🍴🇫🇷

19/03/2026: An unforgettable experience and incredible generosity! We had a wonderful time at Monchu. The atmosphere is warm and authentic; it's the perfect place to relax after a day in the mountains or even after a simple stroll through town. We shared a fondue: pure bliss! The portions were very generous, and we were more than satisfied. But what touched me most was the honesty and kindness of the staff. Being a bit absentminded, I left two rings there and had already left Chamonix by the time I realized. The staff were incredibly kind and agreed to mail them to me. It was an immensely kind gesture that meant the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hospitality and integrity. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment!

02/03/2026: The place is still as unique as ever, but it's unacceptable to leave a table with several children screaming uncontrollably throughout the meal. No one from the establishment intervened with the parents. We left without ordering dessert or drinks. What a ruined evening… there are other places in Chamonix.

18/02/2026: We ordered a cheese fondue that had a strong garlic taste, and it wasn't mentioned on the menu that the fondue contained so much garlic. A friend has an allergy, and we asked to change it, but the waitress refused and was rude, as if we were supposed to know. We ordered another dish because she wouldn't change the fondue. In the end, she wanted to charge us for all the dishes. We found the food to be of poor quality.
