01/12/2025: During the All Saints' Day holiday, we went to this restaurant and left before the aperitif. The welcome was appalling and rude.
01/12/2025: Either we went on a bad night, or the reviews are misleading; I don't recommend it.
The prices are higher than elsewhere (€30 for a fondue)! The restaurant was indeed open for dinner on November 1st.

17/08/2025: We came to visit my niece for four days. The hotel is well located; no need to drive to the heart of Châtel. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating, and offer a truly generous and varied breakfast. The owner is very attentive, not to mention the impeccable cleanliness of this hotel. It's certainly not very modern, but so clean that we preferred this place to others where you shouldn't be too fussy...
We will gladly return on a future family visit!
Look no further, choose Le Roitelet!
08/08/2025: We came for a family overnight stay. The hotel is comfortable and well-located. The welcome was exceptional; we were pampered. The breakfast is homemade, varied, and very good. We will be back.

26/01/2026: Disappointing experience. The burgers were bland and lacked generosity (where was the cheese?). As for dessert, the chocolate fondant was way too dry, with no molten center at all. Poor value for money.

17/01/2026: Five stars! A wonderful discovery! I've been coming to this resort for over 20 years and I just discovered this place! We'll be back every year! The manager is incredibly kind! Fresh and original products! A sheep's cheese fondue! Homemade desserts! Very little wait! Just thank you for the warm welcome and your generosity! We were a group of 13 and we had a fantastic time! See you next year!

11/09/2025: A short 4-night stay with the family. We had three rooms... beautifully decorated and very well-kept by Sisters Chrystel and Marie-France. Always with a smile and Brother Laurent's good cooking. It's a joy to return at the same time and the pleasure of recharging our batteries in this family-run hotel that we've known for 50 years!

28/08/2024: Very warm welcome, local cuisine, we ate very well, a must-see restaurant of the stay!
26/08/2024: A place not to be missed. There were 6 of us with 2 teenagers and everyone had a great time. It's good and hearty at the same time and everything is homemade, so it's a real pleasure.
The boss is very nice and the atmosphere is great because it's not very big so we chat between the different tables.
Done without detour.

24/12/2025: A typical Savoyard restaurant with excellent homemade dishes and authentic Savoyard cuisine. I highly recommend it.
13/10/2025: The setting is magnificent and the mountain atmosphere is great. A little disappointed by the service, but there are days without... And the coffees are not worth their price, even at this altitude. But try again for a more complete experience.
