The cuisine is breathtaking and the service is always impeccable. The team is fantastic and the atmosphere is always so welcoming.

08/07/2026: This is a local secret. Having lived in Megeve for 12 years, the BDA has served so many great meals that we come back time after time. They serve a range of beautifully cooked food, beyond pizzas. Lunchtime menus are the best deal in town.

From the warm welcome and service to the delicious food, the setting, and the spacious terrace… everything is perfect for a wonderful time with family or friends. The cuisine is excellent, a real treat, and you'll never be disappointed.
In short: can't wait to go back!

15/06/2026: Our favorite meal in all of Megeve. The miso glazed salmon was delicious, as were the mashed potatoes, burrata & melon, watermelon salad. The presentation of everything was a treat.

The portions are unacceptable for a fondue costing €76 for two.
€26 for a tiny plate of dried meats.
We even asked them to remove the excessive amount of fat from the fondue.
In short, it's expensive, but if the quality and quantity were there, it would be understandable. But this is a joke...
Not a word. Not an apology. Just that those are the required quantities.
In short, judging by the comments, it all makes sense. Tourist trap. Nothing more.

The welcome was very pleasant, and the service was attentive. The price was very high, but average for Megève.

24/04/2026: We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect.
Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service.
We had a truly magical time.
22/02/2026: Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...
