25/01/2026: We came for a hot chocolate, but the service was terrible. We waited 30 minutes for a menu, the waitress was unpleasant, and the Viennese hot chocolate arrived with crushed whipped cream and spilled chocolate all over the sides. The restrooms were disgusting, with waffle trays and toilet paper on the floor. I wouldn't recommend it.

09/12/2025: After our first visit a few years ago, we felt like returning to Pré Rosset today.
The climb is still as picturesque as ever, the view at the top is breathtaking... and the welcome at the mountain pasture was fantastic.
Excellent meal and fabulous homemade mint tea.
Thank you again to the whole team for this wonderful time.
We look forward to coming back! 🙏

Apéritif pas servi que la fondue est déjà sur la table !
Fondue pas mal mais sans plus et à 24€/pers il faut rajouter 5€ pour un bol de salade !
Personnels accueillent malgré tout !
25/12/2023: Incroyable moment passé grâce à la merveilleuse serveuse Amélie pleine de charme et souriante ainsi le Chef Fifi et sa cuisine PARFAITE.
Le personnel est très accueillant et l’ambiance du restaurant est chaleureuse. On a passés une super soirée les plats était délicieux et copieux pour leur prix. Absolument rien de négatif je recommande absolument!

Dommage car on attendait cette première visite, ce sera la dernière.
29/02/2024: Nous avons pris le plat du jour
Bien servi, excellent. La viande bien cuite et pour un prix très raisonnable 19€ pour un faux filet aux poivre vert gratin dauphinois salade. Le vin 35€ de bonne qualité.
Accueil impeccable. Le sourire de Anne et de Alban nous on ravit.

But then big organizational problem, dishes come with sauce instead of without, the fondue nothing exceptional, out of stock for certain accompaniments...
You are forced to listen to rap for 30 minutes in a restaurant in the evening... thanks to the waitress who asked the manager to change the music for the customers... the crème brûlée served on a second plate full of sauce (see in the photo)… really not professional at all and catastrophic management… and above all, completely false and uncontrolled notes. We paid 103€ and the wrong bill was 179€!!! Free salad (it was the minimum!) I left a tip for the waitress who did her best.
18/09/2024: We have already been here for the first time and the waiter was very welcoming.
But this time, a very cold reception.
The lights went out and then back on.
It took 1 hour to get the first dish, a table much too small for that.
We had no place, we were not offered water during the meal.
While the other customers for the same meal had the biggest drinks and were offered water.
The fondue was all lumpy, the servers were also very rough.
No “bon appetit” or “please”
The cutlery was barely taken from our hands.
For dessert, we had to wait another 45 minutes, even though there were 6 tables in the restaurant.
I wouldn't come back, when I have the other negative opinions I completely agree with them.
Then there is a bell that just rings throughout the meal.
The waiters come and go outside.
Restaurant to avoid!

A raspberry and blueberry tart for 4 people for 27 euros, with no pastry cream between the fruit and the crust.
The blueberries were definitely frozen, as they were waterlogged.
This is Megève, after all...

06/08/2025: A great place for lunch or dinner in a family atmosphere. Delicious food. A warm welcome. We love going there.
16/07/2025: This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, offering delicious cuisine made exclusively from homemade ingredients. The service is very friendly and family-friendly. The location is very peaceful and quiet, despite its proximity to the cable car.
I highly recommend it.

09/12/2025: The staff were particularly unfriendly and unwelcoming. Despite the restaurant being empty, we had to wait several minutes before they agreed to seat us at a table with a stroller.
07/12/2025: Disastrous! We arrived at 2:30/3:00 PM with two young children to order two coffees, one tea, and two sodas. The waiter (who was incredibly rude, by the way) told us that he no longer served coffee or tea at that time, but a cappuccino would be fine, LOL… all just to boost sales with alcohol.
On a rainy Sunday with two children, it's even more unacceptable. He curtly replied, "Management orders."

21/01/2026: Thank you to Lolo for her kindness! She had everything I needed to celebrate my birthday, she even thought of the confetti! A true pro! I hope to come back to your place someday, maybe if we return to Megève! P.S. I think I forgot a glove… please contact me if you find it.

01/02/2026: We came for lunch at 2pm, we had to wait a very long time to be served and had to ask 3 times to be able to order. After ordering we had to wait nearly a further hour for the food to arrive, this was after chasing twice. The restaurant was not even half full. The Entrecote steak was terrible, full of sinews, we asked for medium but it came very rare, The pork cheeks were unbelievably salty and could not be finished. We did raise with the manager who removed these from the bill. One other issue was that the lady's toilets doors did not lock. The waiter staff were chaotic and often arguing. This was a really bad experience and I would avoid this place, especially when considering the crazy prices they ask, one would expect better service and quality of food at such price levels. There are much better places to eat around the area which are more correctly priced with better service and food.
19/01/2026: Unacceptable! No water was provided. That's against the law! It seems that bars and restaurants in the Alps are flouting the rules... We and our friends won't be returning!

20/07/2024: Execrable service, when we ask to recook the minced steak for our 2 year old son which arrived rare instead of cooked to perfection the waiter makes fun behind without discretion saying that we want "a sole" while the health rules for a child require that the meat be cooked correctly. And then the waiter dares to ask for a steak tartare to be cooked!! and does not even know the composition of his dishes when serving. The hospital that doesn't care about charity. Serious lack of professionalism and very average cuisine. Lack of seasoning, frozen fries… for this price it’s unacceptable.
Better to look elsewhere!!

23/08/2024: Today, I am disappointed for the first time with your store where I usually buy. The pastries were on the counter forming a wall between the seller and the customer. So, with each exchange, spit flies onto the pastries or customers can touch them with their dirty hands. It's not hygienic at all for a luxury house but apparently according to the quality management they had authorization from the hygiene and food safety department so it's acceptable to spit on food all day 🤔 (this just because you have an authorization from the hygiene services does not mean that it is hygienic.)

À refaire très vite et recommande vivement
30/08/2024: Tout d’abord le serveur était hautain, car nous avons prit des salades car nous n’avions pas très faim, ensuite les portions étaient minimes et la qualité des aliments laissait à désirer surtout vis à vis du prix des plats ..
