27/08/2024: Nous nous y sommes rendus en famille (5 personnes en tout), car nous avions au préalable recherché un endroit à Montpellier pour manger quelque chose de bon et de rapide et que nous étions tombés sur ce petit restaurant: Chez Alex. Nous nous attendions à quelque chose en arrivant et je peux vous dire que nous n'avons pas été déçus! Le service est rapide et la nourriture excellente! On sent le fait maison ^^ Nous avions commandé une salade Chèvre Miel, deux Burgers au Fromage, un Tacos Raclette et un Tacos Crousti. Nous avons été servis en 10min et tout le monde a adoré son plat! Nous en sommes resortis plus que rassasiés. Une adresse à ne pas manquer si l'on est de passage à Montpellier ;)

27/08/2024: I discovered this restaurant thanks to an advertisement and I don't regret coming. The food is very good, the burgers are delicious. The service is impeccable and the staff very pleasant. I will come back with pleasure! This place in the heart of Montpellier is very pleasant. The all-chocolate cookie is delicious.

09/12/2025: The restaurant was a bit noisy. A main course and dessert cost €18 without wine. There were only 5 shrimp in the daily special. The French toast was dry and unappetizing; I'd avoid it. This was my second visit, and I was quite disappointed. I just didn't connect with the place. It was very busy, which I guess appeals to some and not to others, myself included.

12/12/2024: We tested this concept of protein pizza: the bean-based dough is a change from “classic” pizzas but the whole thing remains tasty. The staff is pleasant. The prices are perhaps a little above average but Pure Vitaé Café & Proteines justifies them with fresh products and a menu displaying the Agriculture Bio logo as well as the French chicken logo. Are you ready to spend a few euros more to choose products that are healthier for you and the environment?

11/12/2025: Review from December 2025: Oh dear, what a change Trinquefougasse has undergone. The beloved "La Mer" planche is no longer available. Unfortunately, the restaurant has only declined in quality over the last 3-4 years. The service is far less attentive than before. Today, we were simply laughed at when the squid (seiche) on the skewer was still almost raw even after being returned to the kitchen for an extra round. This is not how you handle complaints. The food is nowhere near the same quality as it was 4 years ago. Where has the freshness gone? Even the bread seems several days old. Every year, on our way to/from Spain, we used to stay overnight in Montpellier and visit this restaurant. We will unfortunately have to find somewhere else. What a shame! Review from November 2022: As always, friendly and good. We love this restaurant with its good food, great wines, and lovely atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, but not always necessary.

05/04/2025: dommage vraiment un peux déçu service au top jeune fille très pro rien à dire la dessus aceuille plutôt pas mal , mes la arrivée à table verre sale , parmesan vide et on passe commande des boissons on demande des sup sirop 3 euros scandaleux × 3 / 9 euros j ai fais un spasm la vérité la serveuse en lui disant que c est abusé à vite rectifier le tire mes si nous ne disons rien cela serait passé bref on le retentera avec l escalope millanaise

31/03/2025: Le cadre de ce restaurant est très beau, dans les vieilles pierres Montpelliéraines, salle sous de belles voûtes. L'accueil est très sympathique, mention spéciale pour la petite dame de l'accueil charmante et adorable, tout comme les serveuses. Les plats étaient délicieux, les proportions très biens et très digestes, important de le préciser. Tout était bon 👍😋😊

26/08/2024: At last somewhere to have a heathy and hearty meal at a very reasonable price 15 Euros for a meal. Food was fresh and tasty and not overwhelmed by sauce. They even put my sauce on the side so I could use just a little.
