The welcome is fantastic, with a friendly person who explains the origins of the dishes and the provenance of the meat and other ingredients. A truly convivial atmosphere is guaranteed. Some dishes are homemade, but the best thing to do is go and see for yourself – the owner will explain everything better. Please note that reservations are required and very easy to make via the website. Enjoy your meal!

Eggplant in piquillero sauce, frog legs, seven-hour slow-cooked lamb shank, and stuffed squid for lunch today... a superb meal... carefully prepared and beautifully presented... 06/06/2026: A wonderful place! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the crepes are delicious (especially the super ham and cheese crepe), and the cider is excellent. The terrace is also very pleasant on sunny days.

02/05/2026: A very unpleasant museum, a sinister atmosphere, everything is dark, the bookstore is closed for no reason, and the restrooms are at the end of a completely black corridor, leading into a totally black room. It's impossible to clean this place. Most of the paintings on display are uninteresting; three-quarters of them should be put back in storage. Only the Bazille room is worthwhile. A very sad state of affairs for culture...

07/05/2026: Dinner for two at La Réserve, a well-known Montpellier establishment, practically an institution, with its unique setting on the banks of the Lez River. A magnificent setting indeed, the restaurant, recently awarded a Michelin star, unveils surprise menus of four or six courses, with or without wine pairings. The wine list, in particular, is well-chosen, with a range of prices, all very well chosen, and the recommendations are excellent. The four-course menu began with an amuse-bouche and an addictive country bread, followed by a magnificent asparagus dish, then moved on to fish prepared two ways, followed by a meat course with a sauce so good you'll want to stay up all night. For dessert, stewed strawberries. A true success. A perfect evening. Also worth noting is its unique terrace, the only one of its kind in the region.

05/04/2025: dommage vraiment un peux déçu service au top jeune fille très pro rien à dire la dessus aceuille plutôt pas mal , mes la arrivée à table verre sale , parmesan vide et on passe commande des boissons on demande des sup sirop 3 euros scandaleux × 3 / 9 euros j ai fais un spasm la vérité la serveuse en lui disant que c est abusé à vite rectifier le tire mes si nous ne disons rien cela serait passé bref on le retentera avec l escalope millanaise

31/03/2025: Le cadre de ce restaurant est très beau, dans les vieilles pierres Montpelliéraines, salle sous de belles voûtes. L'accueil est très sympathique, mention spéciale pour la petite dame de l'accueil charmante et adorable, tout comme les serveuses. Les plats étaient délicieux, les proportions très biens et très digestes, important de le préciser. Tout était bon 👍😋😊
