28/03/2026: Spectacular! The fondue was incredible, as were the salads, and the maître d' was especially attentive, even though we don't speak French. Highly recommended.
27/03/2026: The fondues are amazing, a real treat, the atmosphere is lovely, and the owner is incredibly attentive. It's impossible to visit Montpellier without eating at L'Assiette aux Fromages.

05/04/2025: dommage vraiment un peux déçu service au top jeune fille très pro rien à dire la dessus aceuille plutôt pas mal , mes la arrivée à table verre sale , parmesan vide et on passe commande des boissons on demande des sup sirop 3 euros scandaleux × 3 / 9 euros j ai fais un spasm la vérité la serveuse en lui disant que c est abusé à vite rectifier le tire mes si nous ne disons rien cela serait passé bref on le retentera avec l escalope millanaise
31/03/2025: Le cadre de ce restaurant est très beau, dans les vieilles pierres Montpelliéraines, salle sous de belles voûtes.
L'accueil est très sympathique, mention spéciale pour la petite dame de l'accueil charmante et adorable, tout comme les serveuses.
Les plats étaient délicieux, les proportions très biens et très digestes, important de le préciser. Tout était bon 👍😋😊

04/04/2026: A really lovely place where you feel right at home. The food is very good and the service is efficient. In the evenings, the musicians are excellent and create a great atmosphere. One suggestion: a slightly more extensive menu would be a plus. One or two more dishes, for example. But perhaps it's also a question of profitability or organization, which I can understand.
03/04/2026: The service was appalling, the atmosphere was stifling, and the staff were completely unprofessional. Shameful.

06/04/2026: I love this place and it is extremely nostalgic for me. I went to university in Montpellier about 10 years ago and this was where my friends and I would go when we wanted a truly French meal! I still love it. I went twice during my 2 day visit 😂. It is very French!
06/04/2026: The service was a little cold from some of the staff, but the food was good and the service was quick. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and focused on the tomato theme. I will gladly return.

The interior is a bit small and therefore a little noisy, but nothing too bothersome.
29/03/2026: Absolutely delicious, no complaints.
However, avoid coming around 6 pm, as there might be fewer options than what's offered in the pastry section. And it can get quite noisy.
But otherwise, it's very good.

26/04/2026: A very average experience at this restaurant, which admittedly has quite a lot of choices—that should have been a red flag.
The food wasn't high quality, the service was robotic, and the place itself was bland.
Nothing new in the West; the standardization of the restaurant industry has unfortunately taken hold.
Even the service staff seems to have forgotten basic empathy for the customer and appears to be there out of obligation.

18/02/2026: Absolutely splendid restaurant! It's by far the best Caesar salad I've had in Montpellier. I highly recommend this welcoming place for a meal with friends or a relaxing moment alone on the lovely terrace. The staff are very attentive.
The beef carpaccio was also excellent.

04/03/2026: We found this quiet gem late during our time in Montreal, but we made up for lost time as best we could. Here is a place where the neighborhood gathers to savor simple yet deceptively complex and perfectly portioned meals (vegetables!), reasonably priced, that one wants and should eat daily. Like the proverbial apple, a lunch a day at le Dauphin keeps the doctor away – but also puts a smile on the face and lightens the heart. Bon appetit!
06/02/2026: Wow, a warm and welcoming place with generous cuisine 🙏 simple yet inventive, homemade food at such affordable prices (it still exists 🫶), it gets incredibly busy so booking is probably recommended, even though I was lucky enough to find a table ☀️👍 and the staff are lovely

16/04/2026: Excellent meal and excellent cuisine, the desserts in particular; but it's not easy to park at lunchtime on weekdays.

04/12/2024: Had WiFi issues at home and worked from this coffee shop for a couple of hours without any problem. Had an amazing salmon croque with salad and a nice mint tea.
03/12/2024: First of all I liked the setting, warm, comfortable, I feel good there. Then I liked the welcome, the smile, the simple and kind exchanges. Then I liked my salmon croque, fresh, with a "mesclun", seeds, and I loved the "Key lime pie", lemony and light. Finally, I really enjoyed my macchiato with the little cloud of milk foam, perfect. The price was light, and it became my base when I come down from my mountain in Montpellier.
