30/06/2026: We had booked a table for a football match. We had repeatedly specified a nice spot in front of the TVs. When we arrived, the waiter was arguing with another customer. Immediately afterward, without even looking at us, he directed us to a table far from the main gathering, with an aggressive air. We explained that we had booked several days in advance, specifically requesting a nice spot. The waiter got angry and told us, "You're not going to give me any more grief!"... Avoid this place.

05/05/2026: I'm a dinosaur... I come for a coffee at 10:30... and I can read the local paper, Midi Libre, the sports newspaper L'Équipe, the sports newspaper Midi Libre... All this with a Soul Music soundtrack and no commercials... you don't see that anymore. Well done and thank you.

This restaurant, located on a small street in the historic center, offers a charming setting with its exposed stone walls and vaulted cellar ambiance. The dining room is intimate and warm, ideal for a pleasant meal. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food: delicious, well-prepared dishes made with excellent ingredients. An address I highly recommend.

18/02/2026: Absolutely splendid restaurant! It's by far the best Caesar salad I've had in Montpellier. I highly recommend this welcoming place for a meal with friends or a relaxing moment alone on the lovely terrace. The staff are very attentive. The beef carpaccio was also excellent.

30/04/2026: Tellines is indeed the restaurant's signature dish; the bread dipped in their sauce is truly delicious – that's real gastronomy. However, I wouldn't recommend their octopus; you should probably try their other fresh fish. But what impressed me most were the enthusiastic servers. They displayed exceptional professionalism and charm, like flowing, vibrant notes playing a jazz melody. They were warm, well-mannered, and incredibly polite. I was just having a simple dinner, but they treated me like a princess – I was truly overwhelmed. It's also worth mentioning that the atmosphere was very friendly. Everyone chatted casually, as if they were old friends. Perhaps it's because of the southern weather. The people here are more friendly, optimistic, and cheerful. I hope to have the opportunity to live in this city someday, rather than just being a passerby.
