18/09/2024: De l’accueil à la fin, on se sent bien. Les différents menus sont tous originaux,les mets, à ce niveau se sont des mets, sont délicieux, tout en étant fin, qualité et quantité s’allient pour un vrai plaisir avec un service plein d’attention et de sourires, mon seul regret, je n’ai pas pu y retourner.
11/09/2024: Cadre et vue très sympa qu'une cuisine de grande qualité sublime.
Accueil chaleureux à ne pas manquer. Tout est parfait avec une carte des vins à la hauteur des plats.

I found the welcome super warm having come with my little dog who was accepted straight away. I recommend this little restaurant where the waitresses and the boss are absolutely kind...

16/09/2024: I'm always wary of tourist-trap seaside restaurants so I looked at the reviews on the internet which made me decide to go there. Result ? The Scallops galette, balanced, delicious and well presented! Accompanied by a surprising and delicious hop cider! For dessert? The generous Quign-amann with Ribot ice cream and homemade whipped cream...a treat...
Polite and discreet staff, good value for money €50 for 2!

27/09/2024: Un restaurant, ou il vaut mieux réserver, des habitués et vu le nombre de restaurant à Cancale, c’est un bon signe. Brochettes géantes de gambas et Saint Jacques très bonnes, la viande excellente, service sympa et rapide, patronne très dynamique, on y mange bien sans chichi et avec rapport repas prix très bien
27/09/2024: La choucroute de la mer est excellente, 2 poissons, 2 langoustines, des moules et 1 St Jacques et naturellement du chou !
Mon dessert favori, est le riz au lait

Die junge Dame im Service auf der Terrasse war jedoch auch die unhöflichste und unverschämteste Person, völlig überfordert bei 3 besetzten Tischen. Beim Bezahlen vergaß die Dame sogar die Einzelheiten der Bestellung, wie gesagt bei drei besetzten Tischen.

15/08/2024: The food is very good, although quite expensive for what it is. The service is terrible, it took them a long time to bring each dish and they put them wherever they wanted even though we told them where they were going. Lots of decoration and the dish was very well presented but by the time the last one was on the table the rest was already cold. And the bathroom isn't smaller because you couldn't open the door.
11/08/2024: While passing through the region, we decided to take a break in Cancalais, and we were not disappointed! Between the appetizers, the tasty starters (fish soup and seafood plates), the exquisite dishes (hake fillet with mashed potatoes and small vegetables) and the delicious desserts (bitter orange crème brûlée with almond ice cream and crepe suzette with citrus ice cream), for €32.50 we left with a full stomach and very satisfied with our meal! Thanks to the cooks and thanks to the service team who were very friendly.

08/09/2024: La Mère Champlain is a hotel-restaurant. We only go to the restaurant each time we stay in Cancale and have never had any complaints about the meal or the service.
