More seriously, after spending four weeks in Fougères, and being originally from the south of France, I'm delighted to finally discover that not all the restaurants in Fougères are so mediocre. Let me explain: on the recommendation of my client, I discovered this bistro which offers everything that makes a good restaurant: a small but well-balanced menu, the best ingredients showcased by expertly prepared dishes, a warm welcome from the team—the owner and his waitress—all in a stylish and pleasant setting. Luckily, I'm returning for another two weeks, and this will definitely be my new go-to spot. I highly recommend it!

The waiter and waitress are super pleasant and really attentive, the cook is passionate about his job, you can feel it in the dishes which are superbly presented but also absolutely excellent!!! It’s a shame that we’re only here for the holidays because I would love to come every week!!

07/08/2024: Terrasse aux abords du château médiéval. Equipe jeune et sympathique, cuisine absolument excellente pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable. Étape fougerole à ne pas manquer !
20/07/2024: Personnel jeune et sympathique. La côte de porc épaisse et à la cuisson parfaite, mérite de s'y arrêter. Les enfants ont aimé le fisch et chips. Trés bien pour une petite halte.

18/08/2024: The friendliness and welcome of the couple, the lady in charge of the service, the gentleman in the kitchen, but who also visits his customers in the dining room, and the quality and generosity found on the plate make this restaurant an excellent address. Stopping in Fougères to break the road between Bordeaux and Lannion, the adjoining hotel, this restaurant and the Château de Fougères leave us with pleasant memories of this charming town.
13/08/2024: Very warm welcome and very friendly service, very good tasting, the pork dish is a very nice discovery. Very good wine served by the carafe or by the glass.
