03/09/2024: We had a great time at L’Étale d’Edgard. The service was superb, with an attentive and friendly team. However, when it came to the matured meat dishes, although the price suggested exceptional quality, I was slightly disappointed. The meat was okay, but I was expecting something truly remarkable for this price point. Overall a good experience, but maybe the meat isn't entirely worth the cost.

27/11/2025: Good route hotel close to the main highway to Lorient, well connected. Great breakfast selection, fresh baked croissants and baguette, also produce from local farmers. Friendly staff. Good beds for a good night's sleep.

22/08/2024: Of the four restaurants and bars we ate at, the best product, the only decent wine and very friendly service. If we return to Rennes, we will go there.

17/12/2024: Très belle expérience ce soir :nous avons dégusté le menu de Noël :tout simplement succulent et cette beauté des assiettes :je recommande sans modération, pour tous les goûts : super foie gras aux morilles servi avec des figues confites (le tout concocté par le chef Rémi) :une tuerie !! noix de St Jacques, croustillant de lotte aux agrumes, magret de canard aux fruits servis avec des purée verte, orange.... Le nougat glacé est excellent et la bûche exotique d'une douceur et d'unité et légèreté.... Menu très abordable et excellents conseils de Sébastien pour les vins !

We are welcomed with big smiles and hellos from the regulars. Laurence, the owner of the place, and Tiphaine are welcoming and give good advice. Enjoy your moment!
