01/04/2024: Always a pleasure to visit this Colombus, the employees are welcoming and the products are very good. Small downside lately: no ciabatta available at 12:30 p.m. yet. This happened to me twice in the space of three days. I find it a shame knowing that we eat during these hours... I would allow myself to change my rating if I see that the problem no longer occurs (or exceptionally).

I have been going there at least twice a week for several months (because I work in the gallery).
I have never been disappointed, their menus are really nice and there is something for everyone. Their drinks? Hot or cold are my hobby.
Bonus for the salmon cucumber club 😀
The whole team is very welcoming, especially a young brunette woman with curly hair who I deal with regularly. At the top 👍🏻

03/09/2024: We had a great time at L’Étale d’Edgard. The service was superb, with an attentive and friendly team. However, when it came to the matured meat dishes, although the price suggested exceptional quality, I was slightly disappointed. The meat was okay, but I was expecting something truly remarkable for this price point. Overall a good experience, but maybe the meat isn't entirely worth the cost.

Cuisine alliant le visuel et le gustatif .
Des sauces travaillées, mariage de saveurs au top !
Et l’on nous informe que tout est fait maison ! Vraiment un grand bravo !

17/07/2024: Suis allé 3 ou 4 fois me restaurer le midi dans ce restaurant où la cuisine était délicieuse.
J'y suis retourné aujourd'hui pour un faux filet béarnaise frites à 19 euros.
Frites congelees execrables archi cuites et sèches.
Viande pas très tendre.
Béarnaise non faite maison.
Déception totale c'est bien dommage.

13/08/2024: Quality pastries, there is something for all tastes, classic or rather revisited. There is a real search for balance and the portions are very well measured.
The tea room service is appreciable, a little chocolate offered with your cup of tea, a little touch that always pleases!
On the other hand, the tea room area is not really cozy, the tables are close to each other and there is no decoration or particular atmosphere, a shame because the quality of the pastries deserves a place to the height to taste them... But it has the merit of being one of the only real patisseries in Rennes to offer a tea room area.

19/06/2024: Consistent quality, traditional cuisine restaurant, address to remember when passing through Rennes.
04/06/2024: I have eaten there several times, and it is the only restaurant that offers 3 different dishes per day (I think) which satisfy everyone. Everything is homemade, you will be obliged to take a starter (not only he obliges but it's always exquisite). I'm starting again, very welcoming!

11/09/2024: We stumbled into this absolutely lovely creperie after visiting the cathedral across the plaza. Having spent 10 days in Brittany, we had plenty of creperies to compare this one too. For those who don't know, Brittany is famous for galettes, which are buckwheat crepes with savory fillings. These were the best we had in 10 days. They were just the right consistency and perfectly browned. Mine was filled with scallops and leeks, and my husband had the galette filled with a variety of seafood. We were both left smacking our lips. The service was excellent, in spite of the place being full, and the price was easy on the credit card. Thumbs up!
03/08/2024: The pancakes are good, but the service is very cold and the waiter is unpleasant. You should not do this job if you don't like customer contact.

23/09/2024: Food is undercooked and bad quality. We ordered duck that came all bloody. The lamb that I ordered medium well came half medium well and half rare. It took forever to bring the order and it was undercooked. Service is slowwwww.
22/09/2024: The avocado and salmon 'toast' which comes on bread not visibly toasted from the day before with frozen guacamole. No sign of a fresh ingredient on the plate.
The napkins all already stained on the table.
Asked 4 times for a pitcher of water even though the restaurant was empty.
Missing 3/4 items on the menu.
Poor service but I imagine it's not easy working in a place that seems to care about its employees so much.
In short, to flee.

08/09/2024: I went there for an improvisation show, Lucas Proust, I had a great time thanks to him. The setting for the show is very good. However, the servers are not the most friendly.
