03/05/2026: Avoid this place. If you're not a regular, they have absolutely no consideration for new customers. It's a shame because I was really positive after reading the reviews. We waited over an hour for our main course, and as a result, we didn't even want to order dessert.

17/07/2026: Arriving after 3 pm, the well-known roadside restaurant I was familiar with was closed, but the brasserie was open. I opted for the set menu (starter/main). The salad starter (the small one on the menu) was very good and generous, so I asked to cancel the daily special and order dessert instead, the mille-feuille. This homemade dessert, with a twist from the pastry chef, was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for a stopover.

17/05/2026: An excellent stay at this hotel and restaurant; highly recommended! Very quiet, a short drive over to Argenton. Accessible parking. The room was simple and modest size, but clean and fresh, w little courtyard w table and chairs behind and parking right in front, and renovated bathroom. Very good restaurant!! Friendly helpful staff and management. And the best breakfast on this 4 night trip!! Fresh orange juice, good bread and cheese, and delicious "real " croissants, not those nasty little things now often found at hotel buffet breakfasts.

25/04/2026: A lovely place to stop on your way south. A friendly, family atmosphere. The room was perfectly adequate. There was a swimming pool and jacuzzi (although the jacuzzi was closed). A very warm welcome and an excellent evening meal. It alone is worth the trip. Good breakfast.

30/06/2026: Ordered the PB wrap and it was good and easy perfect spot for a quick lunch. You go in and order on the kiosk. Although I think I messed up when I was on the kiosk because I ended up with two sides of sweet potato fries. Which I couldn’t finish eating them all. The wrap was pretty good nothing special but tasty and did the job. I also did order a side of the spicy sauce to put on it and that was really banging. Next time. I will order more of that sauce, but it was quick and easy can’t complain.

23/06/2026: This isn't the first time I've been to the Châtelet roast chicken place. Last time I had a terrible experience with a woman, but yesterday the man was very nice. However, there was no air conditioning; I felt like I was in a sauna. I find this unacceptable, especially for your employees—have pity on them—and for the customers!

15/05/2026: Magnificently restored castle. A castle just as you imagine a castle to be. Thick walls, many towers, and large, beautiful rooms.

10/01/2026: A very nice place with friendly staff. Great breakfast! Lovely swimming pool.
