30/05/2025: The positive reviews made me hesitate for a long time. But having been to many restaurants, I must say that this is perhaps the biggest disappointment I have experienced. It must be said that this restaurant is an institution, whose high prices inevitably lead to implacable judgment. Impeccable, welcoming service, pleasant dining room and atmosphere. The plate is beautifully presented, except that the monkfish is much overcooked, the dish lacks flavor, the pink lamb is rather raw and cold, the bread, according to the waiter, is frozen! It is hard to believe that this restaurant once had a Michelin star.

09/12/2025: We discovered this place completely by chance this Monday at lunchtime while visiting the Basilica of Neuvy-Saint-Sépulcre. We received a very warm welcome despite the late hour. A chalkboard menu offered a varied selection of four starters, four main courses, and four desserts, all for €16! Truly excellent value for money. The service was attentive, careful, and quick. The place is very pleasant with its large bay window, and the furniture is simple yet very comfortable. There's plenty of space between the tables, so you don't feel cramped, unlike in some restaurants. I highly recommend this establishment for a good lunch with exceptional value for money. 20/09/2025: Passing through Vatan, we discovered This restaurant for lunch. We were greeted with a smile. The sirloin steak and fries were simple but good. We enjoyed the local Valencay wine, all for a small bill. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back. Thank you.

29/09/2025: At the end of September, my hiking group spent 4 nights half-board at the Oasis du Berry, a human-sized campsite where the pitches, under the trees, are sufficiently spaced to guarantee everyone's peace and quiet. A very warm welcome: the managing couple do their utmost for the well-being of the residents. Clean and well-equipped chalets. The whole group enjoyed the place and highly recommend it.
