28/06/2025: Delicious food! Tasty 3-course menu, with delicious fresh vegetables. Beautifully presented. Hospitable reception and very friendly service!!! Pleasant terrace. It is also cozy inside.

27/06/2025: Small country restaurant, where you feel at home, very friendly and welcoming waitress. Very good food, very reasonable prices, very pleasant, shaded terrace. Stopped by chance, great discovery, highly recommended.

31/08/2024: Very good restaurant with great value for money! Impeccable service and welcome. A big thank you to the manager for preparing a vegetarian dish which was not on the menu :)

12/08/2024: Lunch on a Sunday on the terrace with a view of the castle, already a joy. The dishes were all delicious, from the zander to the crispy guinea fowl and the haddock, there were 10 of us and everyone enjoyed it. The best of the best was the sugar-free dessert concocted especially for us, for the birthday of a diabetic, we couldn't dream of better. Don't hesitate to ask for a song from the waiter Robin who has a divine voice. Recommended for all occasions with your eyes closed. Many thanks🌹🌿

26/09/2024: Nous y avons dejeuné un jour de pluie et de passage à Chateauroux. Plats copieux et savoureux aussi nous avons calé sur le dessert. Tout est parfait : l’accueil, la deco. Seul bémol, les tables sont trop serrées on manque vraiment de place et l’on doit malgré nous entendre les conversations des voisins. Mais malgré ce désagrément, ce restaurant vaut la peine d’une visite.

12/09/2024: Pas emballé ! J’avais pris un filet mignon, j’ai été très déçu. Quantité et qualité pas au rendez vous pour ce plat. En revanche le dessert, un flan banane chocolat était correct. Je ne récompenserai pas ce restaurant. Déçu !!!

30/09/2024: New modification of my opinion... And yes, I come quite regularly and each time it is never disappointing, quite the contrary! We went there with two couples of friends and it was really good. The restaurant side is great, the quality/price ratio is simply unbeatable. Everyone was delighted, both in terms of the cuisine, the setting and the service. I am so sorry that you are having so much difficulty recruiting staff and are forced to no longer be able to open as before... Probably due to the fact that we no longer have people looking for work here. 🙄😇 In short, congratulations to you and thank you for always being there. 👍

08/09/2024: I only went to the restaurant. It's homemade, it's very good, the site is pleasant and the staff is welcoming. We had a good time.

28/08/2024: I never actually write a review. But I would like to make an exception for this beautiful campsite. For us, it is truly the most beautiful campsite we have been to. Lovely spacious places with lots of privacy. Good sanitary facilities. Nice swimming pool. Everything very neatly maintained by the friendly gardener. It was very quiet during our stay. Still, the children had a great time playing with other children. Really wonderfully quiet for us. We often even had the pool to ourselves. I wish the campsite itself had more guests. Once again a 9.5 for us. As a tip, I would like to see some softer sunbeds. (wasn't really comfortable) Actually, I won't be returning to a campsite anytime soon. But I'm sure I'll come back here again.

18/11/2024: Minute stop, unplanned, to order a pizza. A warm welcome, a very nice setting. We will stop there again with pleasure. Plus, vegetarian offer on all burgers. To be tested.

Untrained staff, terrible reception We were delayed at 12:30 p.m. while other families 2 minutes after us were seated without reservation and also for lunch. Obviously this family didn't look like us, so I'll let you guess why and how, it's despicable. It's a shame.

27/11/2024: A real tavern atmosphere on Sundays, a Parisian bar in the morning, tasteful cuisine, well presented and as local as possible. A service with a smile for young people to accompany the concerts all summer long. The sunsets on the terrace on the lake, we would form daily habits there without worries.

10/09/2024: An Easter meal, Sunday April 4, 2021, to take away, unforgettable.. From starter to dessert a delight: -Easter pâté “quail foie gras, quail juice”, a treat for the taste buds -Brenne lamb with white bean hummus, succulent, to die for😋 and dessert - chocolate dessert, caramelized pear and praline, a killer... Everything was perfect. Well done to the chef, we look forward to the reopening of the restaurants so that we can enjoy your beautiful room and still taste superb dishes. Thank you and 👏👏

Ils ont assuré une prestation totale, comprenant: nappage et dressage de 18 tables de 10, service de 18h à 23h, une vingtaine de petits fours salés puis sucrés y compris une part du gigantesque fraisier constituant le gâteau d’anniversaire des 100 ans de mon père le tout pour 170 convives par un rapport qualité /prix hors normes. Pas une fausse note de la prise de contact à la prise de congé, additionnée d’une gentillesse de chaque instant. N’hésitez pas, ce couple exceptionnel a besoin de votre soutien et vous ne serez pas déçus. Attendez un peu, ils se en vacances, réouverture le 04/09.
