22/04/2026: I only went to the restaurant and it was delicious; we were there with family, the portions were generous and the food was good.

19/04/2026: I walked up as a pilgrim and it wasn't possible to get something to eat on my own. What a lousy place.

04/05/2026: Arrived at 2:50 PM to order two drinks. The manager refused, saying she was closing. There were still customers at two tables. Clearly not in great need of money.

12/03/2026: Excellent place for lunch, I had a great time, the pork pâté and the andouillette were delicious, I recommend it.

05/04/2026: Prices are skyrocketing, the staff is never the same, they're unresponsive, you have to wait 30 minutes before being served... the place isn't what it used to be, unfortunately.

26/03/2026: When we arrived, there was no greeting; all the servers walked right past us without speaking, creating a frosty atmosphere. The order-taking process with Asena was frightening. He only brought us half our order. And he repeatedly asked us for our drinks... there were only two of us... Fortunately, the food was good, and the regulars were there to bring some warmth to this brasserie; otherwise, there was no team spirit, and the coldness between them was palpable. I would like to thank a young, blonde, blue-eyed employee who was very kind. Despite everything, I found the atmosphere better last summer. Don't avoid this restaurant; it does have many good qualities, and the staff changes frequently. And a big plus for the very good food.

20/04/2026: A very nice, quiet little hotel and restaurant with well-appointed rooms. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is adequate, but don't hesitate to add some local charcuterie from the Berry region, even for an extra charge!

05/02/2026: A little gem of a place, just the way we like them! Everything here is homemade with local ingredients, and you can taste the difference. The food is simple, generous, and full of flavor—like home cooking, but better. The welcome is warm, and you immediately feel at ease. A true treasure that deserves to be discovered and supported. I highly recommend it!

26/03/2026: The owner was extremely unpleasant and dishonest. He charged us for the entire meal even though we didn't order a starter, despite the waitress (his daughter) having suggested we could. His consolation prize? "I'll give you a free coffee," he said, "but that's not the price of a starter..." They both seemed to be arguing, but that's no excuse for treating customers like that. There are much nicer restaurants in the city center.

24/01/2026: Excellent couscous, bought for takeout, €20 per person including dessert. Very reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.

15/12/2025: Friendly welcome, waitress not very friendly at first, then it gets a little better, quite a complete meal, nothing to complain about, I recommend this place, bon appétit to you all and have a good day.

17/04/2026: A day in Issoudun, for a lovely family moment and a warm welcome, with attentive service from Brasserie de la Paix. It ended with an impromptu evening... we joined the karaoke to unwind for a few hours. Thank you for being there, so kind and welcoming! A great bonus: the food is delicious, generous, and the prices are very reasonable! Thank you! 🫶🏼

And all the staff, their food, drinks, and desserts, their delicious atmosphere, there's nothing to say. The service is also impeccable. I've been coming to La Patapain for years and I'm always very, very, very happy with all the servers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

05/04/2026: This was our third christening meal at La Gabriere, and we were just as satisfied as before. We shared a wonderful meal, the time flew by, and the service was attentive. See you soon.

07/03/2026: We arrived at 1:30 pm and were invited to wait outside with a complimentary aperitif from the waiter. There was very little wait for seating and service. The meal was very generous, even for meat lovers, and offered a good selection. Good quality ingredients, simple yet delicious. And the desserts... fantastic! I highly recommend it 😊
