Apparemment, d’après le commentaire précédent le serveur en question était « mal luné » ce jour là . Même mésaventure pour nous.
Serveur très excité et pas franchement agréable, a refusé catégoriquement de nous servir des cocktails sous prétexte que cela était l’heure du déjeuner et que dans son « carré » c’est lui qui décidé.
Dommage qu’un salarié fasse fuir des clients presque régulier puisque nous sommes des environs.
Pensez Monsieur le serveur que vous n’avez pas que des touristes en cette période et que vous êtes bien content d’avoir des clients hors période estivale.

18/01/2025: This is a great plan in this wonderful town. This place only offers mussels, sardines, shrimp and squid. Everything is grilled and the mussels and prawns are spiced with a curry base. Everything is too good and with the perfect accompaniment: French fries.
The atmosphere is completely local, there are only long inns and everything is very dynamic.

04/09/2024: Restaurant with traditional French food, very good service, one of the waitresses speaks Spanish well. Coffee is included in the menu, the food was very delicious.
21/08/2024: We came on a Monday evening around 7 p.m. for a drink and were very well received by the owner (I suppose). Nice terrace and nice price too.

17/09/2024: I don't recommend. For €17 the menu of the day...very simplistic all-you-can-eat buffet (even the mayonnaise was industrial), beef tongue and vichy carrots (tasteless, no sauce, totally tasteless), my wife, very dry can still filled with feathers, unaccompanied rice.
Then dessert, me a good chocolate pear and my wife industrial crème brûlée...go your way or go to the village square and you will eat much better and perhaps at the same price.
The waiter is everywhere at Gilles, reception, service, kitchen, cash register, desserts etc...
13/09/2024: Second year that we have come and a small menu at 17 euros still as good with starter buffet, calf's head (Friday) and dessert.
Gilles, alone for cooking and serving.

04/12/2024: Restaurant pas chauffé, attente interminable (nous avons vu passer les plats des clients arrivés bien après nous!)....tout ça pour une cassolette de chipirons décongelés et baignant dans l'eau, des frites également mal décongelés.....nous en sommes restés là! La carte avait l'air alléchante...avons nous été pris pour des touristes? Ce n'est pas le cas! Nous éviterons cet établissement
25/11/2024: Table de 4 devant la baie vitrée.
Un menu du jour complet en 3 plats, avec un choix de 3 assiettes à chaque fois.
Ce jour on a choisi une salade thaï, complète et copieuse et une cassolette de coeur de canard à la persillade....un régal
En plat, un hamburger avec un effiloché de porc et des fish and chips croustillants avec des frites maison et une sauce au top.
Le dessert fut tout aussi une réussite...
Assiette de mini babas et tiramisu à la crème de marrons.
Un service impeccable et souriant, des assiettes parfaitement dressées et copieuses.
Un vrai moment gourmand.
Merci à cette jeune équipe.

15/09/2024: They are unbelievable unfriendly if you don't speak French. They literally screamed at us and rolled there eyes! I feel like speaking a bit englisch is always good
The "caipirinha" is a Joke (yes it came like that!), but maybe they did that on purpose because we don't speak there language

22/09/2024: Too bad the waiter is not up to the task of cooking....2 tasting menus but aperitifs served with the starter we ask if we can have cheese for dessert he answers no...the waitress tells us yes... .we are still waiting for the carafe of water.the little young girl is trying to catch up with her colleague's purses, scars on his nose...
No messing up, it's not in my habits...I meet another customer in the toilet who tells me the same thing. This waiter needs to retrain, he seems jaded....well done to the cook.

4 anchovy fillets on a slice of bread that is too thick

“Unstopped” bars full of stops.
Half a dry potato
Only the coffee with sweets deserves a little compliment.
So very disappointed. We came a few years ago and although prices have increased, the quality has clearly decreased.
We strongly advise against stopping there.
Every time we tried to catch the eye of a waiter we had our heads turned and were forced to raise our voices. Really to be avoided. Deplorable value for money.

16/09/2024: We start the week well at the Louisiana Café, traveling the week with hearty and gourmet meals always with music. And the weekend is always lively with music groups selected for their talents. A caring owner and waitress, always very pleasant and charming. Thank you ❤️

27/09/2024: Fatigués du voyage, pas envie de chercher, nous nous sommes assis un peu inquiets au vu des derniers avis.
Eh bien agréablement surpris !
Le bar au four était très bien préparé, La peau croûteuse mais pas cartonnée cachait une chair fondante à souhait pas sèche du tout malgré la cuisson au four.
La pyramide de riz agrémentée de petite quantité de légumes en julienne était gouteuse, les tomates cerises cuites avaient le goût de tomate.
Un dîner léger mais réconfortant.
Nous reviendrons.

30/09/2024: Choice of restaurant made at random this Saturday, tasty cocktail, blue entrecôte as requested (thanks to the chef) accompanied by a little gorgonzola sauce... excellent.. gourmet gourmet coffee and more, tasteful music and service despite a large number of customers executed brilliantly. Top notch waitress

04/11/2024: Habitués de lieux, nous y revenons notamment parce qu’il n’y a rien d’autres autour et que nous aimons faire travailler les restaurateurs locaux.
Accueil toujours sympathique, présentation des plats recherchée, choix et prix du vin au verre correct, mais la quantité est de plus en plus ridicule.
Pour le menu du jour 16€90, ou poisson du jour, après la réduction des portions de protéine (viande, poisson …) c’est maintenant les frites qui sont rationnées : une petite poignée.
Que dire du dessert : 1/3 d’un petit verre.
05/10/2024: L'endroit, le sourire et le professionnalisme de la serveuse, la qualité des produits cuisinés, tout était parfait, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
