Special mention for the rice pudding, which was simply exquisite: a true marvel! Thank you to the entire team for this delightful moment and wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

25/09/2026: I eat at Les Affamés very regularly, mainly at lunchtime, less often in the evening. We are always very well received, the menu changes regularly, and the quality remains high. I always find a good balance between originality and fresh, high-quality ingredients, with a very well-recommended selection of wines by the glass. 10/10/2026: As previous reviews have mentioned, it's far too expensive for what it is. The meat, the minced steak, is nothing like it used to be; it's practically vegetarian, really not great... I wouldn't recommend it, even though there was a time, several years ago, when it was good.

28/07/2026: Oh dear, what a disappointment!! I ordered the Negombo chicken; the description sounded appetizing, but visually and in terms of taste, it was a huge letdown. €16.50 for such a disappointing meal! Frankly, I'm disappointed and I don't plan on going back. Yet, I was tempted by the positive reviews.

19/07/2026: Excellent Sri Lankan restaurant! The owner and his wife are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The owner's wife, in the kitchen, transported us to India with her incredibly delicious dishes. I felt like I was eating the food my mother used to make for me when I was little 🥰. My children also loved the food, and my son said he felt like he was at his grandmother's house because the cooking was so similar to hers. He told me, "My taste buds had been dead for two weeks, and this lady's cooking brought them back to life!" 😅 A major plus: they grow their own vegetables, and the meals are made fresh to order, not prepared and reheated like in many other Indian restaurants, which really brings out the flavors in the dishes. We wish them all the best and hope to see them again 🥰🥰

27/09/2026: We were a little disappointed. The main course was okay, but the dessert was a different story: the seasonal fruit salad was tasteless, and why a scoop of ice cream on top of fruit salad? The €30 bottle of Bordeaux (red) was served in an ice bucket with ice cubes? Furthermore, the waitress seemed a bit lost with the service. Please consider turning down the music, as dining with loudspeakers behind you isn't very pleasant. The setting is very nice, just a few minor details to iron out...

20/09/2026: The cakes are excellent, especially the almond tart and the Russian cake. The proud shopkeeper is very friendly and told us last Saturday that we were probably the most remarkable, not to say bizarre, table of the day 😂. I'll gladly go back.

23/09/2026: Nothing original, dessert was a cheese plate with very old, almost inedible, and incredibly dry walnut pieces...and the bread was never served. The pavlova was supposed to have pieces of rhubarb?? The service could use some improvement...

14/09/2026: Discovered during our stay in Angers, we were able to enjoy the daily menu, and it was excellent from start to finish. Refined dishes bursting with flavor! A sophisticated starter, tender meat, and a delicious dessert.

19/09/2026: As a former restaurant owner, I appreciated the quality of the ingredients without any unnecessary preparation, and the excellent value for money. I'm not usually one to read online reviews, but in my opinion, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!

20/09/2026: A charming little restaurant with excellent food. The location is surprising, but the interior, with its subdued lighting, is tastefully decorated. The cuisine is superb, featuring a set menu with a small number of dishes, each executed to perfection, although I found the dessert a touch too sweet—but that's just my personal taste. 04/08/2026: First come, last served; our dishes were probably forgotten among the others since they were lukewarm rather than hot. The drinks we ordered with our meal were posted but never brought. Ultimately, we were very disappointed with the experience, especially since the menu seemed promising. The restaurant really needs to hire a waiter with a minimum of organization and experience.
