28/01/2026: The restaurant has a good atmosphere. The waitress was very nice. The meal was good but not exceptional. The meat was a little too tough. The rice could have been better chosen to make it really delicious. The price is high, but the portion size is very generous. The desserts are very expensive (€7.50). The sauce was good; a little stronger would have been perfect. The vegetables were great.

We thank the entire restaurant team for this incredible experience.

07/03/2026: A superb dinner, exquisite flavors, and a beautifully balanced experience in every dish, perfectly balancing acidity and velvety texture, crispness and lightness – a 100% success in the kitchen. The service was efficient and quick. The only downside: the wines. First, a very pronounced, vinous/slightly oxidative champagne as an aperitif, which the sommelier didn't offer us a taste of; we had to request a replacement for one of us. Then, we had a very disappointing wine pairing with wines that were almost all natural/oxidative, without the sommelier ever showing any concern for our satisfaction. We shared our feedback on the quality of the pairing when paying, feedback that was simply dismissed. It's a shame it wasn't of the same caliber as the food.

13/01/2026: I share with many others the intense pleasure of lunch at the Apple Garden Café! The setting is as simple as the menu: English potatoes cooked the traditional way (crispy, charred skin, tender, sweet interior) accompanied by sauces that perfectly complement them. And of course, the desserts! I'll be back to enjoy the garden as soon as the local weather permits. I promise! Note: Given its central location and proximity to schools, reservations are recommended.

17/02/2026: We've been to Café des Halles three or four times now, and frankly, it deserves more like six out of five stars. For me, it's a small but perfectly fine dining establishment. However, it's not very spacious, so be sure to book ahead. The food is very good, original, and homemade (except for the bread).

15/02/2026: Fantastic place that I highly recommend and deserve to be better known. We had an exceptional Valentine's Day menu; I've rarely eaten so well. The chef and his wife are very friendly and enjoy chatting with their customers. I can't wait to go back.

15/01/2026: To celebrate the end of the year, a few friends and I came for brunch! Everything was excellent and plentiful!! The flavors were spot-on, the ingredients were well-prepared and presented, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend it!!

04/02/2026: I can't say it was bad, but I didn't think it was good either! A coq au vin with, besides fries, salad, canned corn, and a piece of tomato that wasn't really in season—strange, isn't it?! For dessert, a raspberry tiramisu—it sounded tempting. The problem is, it wasn't really tiramisu at all! Out-of-season strawberries on top, whipped cream, and some kind of industrial raspberry coulis that tasted more like cough syrup than anything else! While the main course, apart from the salad which had no business being there, was quite decent, the dessert was really not good.

03/08/2025: A top-notch lunch restaurant! The food is good, generous portions, and the homemade dishes are excellent. Very good value for money, with fast service, whether you're eating in or taking out. Go there with your eyes closed!

21/02/2026: Disappointing. Very expensive and tasteless dishes. The only restaurant in the Cité de la Mer complex, which you have to leave to access. No restrooms in the restaurant; you have to use the ones in the Cité de la Mer complex. Bring your own picnic!

16/02/2026: Restaurant located in the Cité de la Mer (City of the Sea) On Valentine's Day evening, the restaurant was full. We had a very good meal; the signature dish was the seafood sauerkraut. It was hot, generous, and the fish was cooked perfectly. All served by very pleasant waiters and waitresses. There was no wait, and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely return.

09/12/2025: We had a meal with colleagues (we reserved a table for 10), and by chance, we only ordered grilled food. It was cooked over a wood fire, just as everyone had requested. The entire meal was delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

05/07/2025: Exquisite craftsmanship on a plate, using seasonal ingredients. The St. Honoré cake is truly exceptional, from its appearance to the firm texture of the choux pastry; everything is designed for a delightful culinary experience. The prices are fair, reflecting the chef's expertise. I highly recommend it. (Pictured: the rum baba.)

12/06/2025: Superb pastry shop, I had a very successful Saint Honoré, a good play of textures especially with the very well-made caramel adding a pleasant crunch, the choux pastries were very well made and the Chantilly cream very light.

15/02/2026: Dinner show. The concert was good. The food was good. Despite a reservation with dishes already ordered, the starter was forgotten. The drinks ordered for the main course arrived in the middle of the meal and were practically thrown on the table. And some people had already paid for their main course or the €10 reservation fee... So there was chaos with the payment because the servers hadn't been informed...
