03/06/2025: A throwback to my younger years, but for a Redcactus poker tournament...it's a shame the room is small for this kind of event...but it was only the second time they'd organized this...a bit of a hassle to park because it's right in the city center, but it's also because it's right in the city center that it's cool to be there. Welcoming, friendly people...good humor and a great atmosphere guaranteed 👌🏾

22/04/2026: As a professional chef myself, I can only recommend this restaurant with a 5/5 rating. The service was impeccable, friendly, and always smiling. 20/04/2026: Happy Hour from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, but not on all terraces and perhaps not for tourists. An abusive and unacceptable practice. Once bitten, twice shy.

06/04/2026: The menu offered was nothing like the one on the website. The choices were a two-course meal for €32 or a three-course meal for €42. Rather expensive for what was offered. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely not worth the price. So, I definitely won't be back.

05/04/2026: In this superb setting, with a friendly team and a small but sufficiently varied menu, one could have expected a good time. Meh. A sea bream tartare that was barely an amuse-bouche, an overcooked and bland chicken supreme served with baby potatoes that smelled like old potatoes. And what about the "tatin" for dessert, where the apple wasn't even stewed... a shame to waste such potential. And enough with these restaurants with music; we're here to chat with friends, not to be heard.

02/02/2026: A special menu for just €10, including a small glass of wine, as a token of appreciation to the staff for keeping the establishment open. I really enjoyed the menu; it was simple, delicious, and refined. The portions were reasonable, perfect for smaller appetites, but the price was perfectly understandable! Thank you and best of luck!

17/01/2026: A great find! We had a delicious meal at a reasonable price with friendly service, all without a reservation, and on a Saturday lunchtime no less, despite the restaurant being packed! Located just steps from Place Stanislas, I highly recommend it.

02/02/2026: It's quite rare to find veal kidneys in a restaurant, so I ordered them. The veal kidneys were served in a crème brûlée ramekin: six small pieces of kidney, the rest being mostly mushrooms. Clearly an insufficient quantity. I pointed this out to the waitress when she came by: no reaction, no explanation, no gesture. A disappointing experience.

12/12/2025: I recommend this place. It's a shame there's no signage to find it. The food is excellent, featuring local produce selected by the chef. The value for money is very good.

15/12/2024: What a lovely evening spent yesterday with our Pulnoy theater troupe. An exquisite meal, a sublime spectacle. From the cuisine, to the artists, to the service, to the welcome, everything was perfect. So for that, a big thank you to the entire Iloa team. You deserve to be known and recognized. Looking forward to coming back to visit you.

15/12/2024: Following a professional end-of-year meal, we had a very good evening. The staff is friendly. The cooking of the dishes, on the other hand, is not up to par. The duck was not cooked enough, many complained, and the scallops, the same. No room taken that day..

02/05/2026: I'm only giving one star so my comment gets seen and taken into consideration. There's a children's play area opposite the Etam lingerie store. I find it surprising that there's an Etam advertising screen inside the store, directly facing the play area, where we can see women in bras and very sexy lace outfits... I find this very inappropriate and disturbing. Perhaps you could consider doing something about it... I'm an early childhood professional, and I've noticed that practically every child playing in this area has their eyes on this screen. All this sexualization bothers me, and apparently no one else finds it problematic... It's a real shame that adults are losing sight of the importance of protecting children.

02/05/2026: I came to do some shopping this afternoon and went to the self-checkout for my pre-made baskets. I started scanning my zero-waste items. It got stuck on each item, so I called the cashier over, saying "please." I don't think I was being aggressive towards anyone. She came over and started yelling at me, saying, "Don't be aggressive, there's no need to shout, we can see with the light." Surprised, I told her, "I didn't attack you, so please be polite." The supervisor was right next to me. Since when does an employee have the right to be aggressive towards a customer who simply said "please"? I'll even describe her: she's of Indian origin. I wasn't aggressive at any point! Good luck to the department managers!

14/04/2026: Excellent value for money, my guests loved it! Fresh, high-quality products, and the boxes were appetizing both visually and in terms of taste. I highly recommend it and will be back very soon for another brunch.

27/04/2026: For a last-minute gift, I chose a box of chocolates from Gigout for €43. Unfortunately, the service and especially the presentation were disappointing: a simple box tied with ribbon, without any gift wrapping. When I politely asked for a presentation bag, I was told they were out and given a large beige kraft paper bag instead. This is all the more disappointing because, for a similar price, stores like Jeff de Bruges consistently offer attractive packaging and a more professional service. A shame for a company like Gigout.

26/04/2026: My friend bought three pies and a Lorraine pâté today, what a disappointment... Barely 30 grams of meat inside and just pastry!!! A total rip-off!!! Saving money at the expense of customers is great!!! I obviously do not recommend this establishment... I don't like to post negative reviews, but this is ridiculous.

28/03/2026: Passing through Nancy on a Saturday at lunchtime, it was our first time at this establishment. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. We ordered pizzas and they were quite good.

22/03/2026: The charm of a bouillon in Nancy. Small and reasonably priced, quality ingredients, quick and very friendly service. It's truly the best place to eat well at very reasonable prices: a bouillon, what else! Highly recommended if you want to eat well, simply, and cheaply: I had a Monaco cocktail as an aperitif, herring fillets and potatoes in oil as a starter, beef bourguignon and coquillettes pasta as a main course, cheese, and diced pineapple marinated in honey for dessert, all for €30.10.

04/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is run by a single person, the owner, who is truly fantastic: welcoming, smiling, and a pleasure to chat with. You can immediately feel her passion and desire to do things well. Despite running the place single-handedly, the service remains efficient and the dishes are delicious, prepared with care. The atmosphere is friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. An authentic place that I highly recommend!
