26/06/2026: We ordered our croquembouche for our son Ethan's christening from Maison Gigout, and we were very pleased. The croquembouche was magnificent, exactly as I had imagined it. All our requests were met, and the result truly exceeded our expectations. The delivery was on time, as promised. The cream puffs were delicious. A few guests felt some were a little underfilled with vanilla cream, but since we also had another cake for dessert, it didn't bother us. If the croquembouche had been the only dessert, perhaps slightly larger cream puffs would have been appreciated. Despite this minor point, we are delighted with our order. The result was as beautiful as it was delicious, and it was a hit with our guests. Thank you to the entire team for your work; we highly recommend them!

03/06/2026: We ordered a tiered cake for our son's christening, and it was as beautiful as it was delicious! We regularly go to this bakery to buy bread or other treats, and we've never been disappointed!

02/05/2026: I'm only giving one star so my comment gets seen and taken into consideration. There's a children's play area opposite the Etam lingerie store. I find it surprising that there's an Etam advertising screen inside the store, directly facing the play area, where we can see women in bras and very sexy lace outfits... I find this very inappropriate and disturbing. Perhaps you could consider doing something about it... I'm an early childhood professional, and I've noticed that practically every child playing in this area has their eyes on this screen. All this sexualization bothers me, and apparently no one else finds it problematic... It's a real shame that adults are losing sight of the importance of protecting children.

02/05/2026: I came to do some shopping this afternoon and went to the self-checkout for my pre-made baskets. I started scanning my zero-waste items. It got stuck on each item, so I called the cashier over, saying "please." I don't think I was being aggressive towards anyone. She came over and started yelling at me, saying, "Don't be aggressive, there's no need to shout, we can see with the light." Surprised, I told her, "I didn't attack you, so please be polite." The supervisor was right next to me. Since when does an employee have the right to be aggressive towards a customer who simply said "please"? I'll even describe her: she's of Indian origin. I wasn't aggressive at any point! Good luck to the department managers!

09/05/2026: Same old problems, one open crate, which one?

01/05/2026: A disaster upon arriving at Flunch. It was incredibly crowded, and on top of that, there was only one person handling the payments. Where had all the staff gone? Furthermore, we ordered a beef bourguignon for €13.95, and we received a child's portion plus the dregs of the pot, meaning the meat was burnt. It's just disgusting to pay so much for that. Of course, I'm posting a photo to share my disappointment. We won't be back.

01/07/2026: We are a group of 10 people who received a very warm welcome at the restaurant. The staff is truly professional, courteous, and attentive. They were able to accommodate our requests and were very flexible. The food is delicious at a reasonable price, the place is nicely decorated and quiet. We will definitely return and thank them again warmly for their hospitality.

20/06/2026: Communion meal booked months ago – what a mistake! The dishes were bland, with no salt or sugar for dessert. Even the wedding cake was a disaster; the cream puffs weren't even filled with cream. And what about the wine? Served by the pitcher... And the spoons? The waitress practically called us thieves, saying she was sure she'd put them out, even though we didn't have any spoons for dessert. In short, €45 per person plus extras for this and that... I won't be going back, and neither will my guests. I absolutely do not recommend it.

02/02/2026: It's quite rare to find veal kidneys in a restaurant, so I ordered them. The veal kidneys were served in a crème brûlée ramekin: six small pieces of kidney, the rest being mostly mushrooms. Clearly an insufficient quantity. I pointed this out to the waitress when she came by: no reaction, no explanation, no gesture. A disappointing experience.

12/12/2025: I recommend this place. It's a shame there's no signage to find it. The food is excellent, featuring local produce selected by the chef. The value for money is very good.

06/07/2026: Two Shores Beach As a couple, we arrived this Sunday around 5 pm and sat down in a cozy spot in the shade. Thirty minutes later, no one had come to take our order, so my partner decided to go to the bar to get our 50cl beers. At 6:15 pm, the atmosphere was good, we liked the place, so we decided to enjoy a mixed platter with a bottle of wine. The bottle was served to us by a courteous, friendly, and pleasant waiter who explained that we would have to go and get the platter ourselves. At 7:30 pm, a young waitress, displaying an appalling lack of professionalism, asked us to change tables, saying she had to move ours to the next one because of a reservation for eight people for a birthday party. I told her I didn't want to leave this cozy spot for a table in full sun or one where I wouldn't be able to see the beach as I could at that moment. If the table had been reserved, a little courtesy—a small note on the table with the reservation time or a friendly welcome about thirty minutes beforehand—might have made us cooperative. But being practically thrown out as if we were unwanted, with no consideration or solution offered... The experience was ruined; avoid at all costs.

17/04/2026: I treated myself to a nice dinner at the end of my week in Nancy. Since it was warm enough, I sat outside. The entrecote was delicious, as were the wine and beer.

12/07/2026: We went as a family for a drink to watch the football match. Firstly, the atmosphere was incredibly dull, a mix of football night and karaoke night. The picture was blurry to boot. In short, this establishment is disappointing more and more, unfortunately.

28/06/2026: One Saturday evening in the middle of a heatwave, I asked for a simple glass of water. That was the last straw; the waiter became completely indifferent. I waited an hour and a half and never received my water. They must have sent a missionary to fetch it from the spring. Psartek, the glass of water, mate!

28/06/2026: We arrived at 9 pm on Sunday and were turned away, told the kitchen was closed. The terrace was almost full, and people were still having drinks. People just don't want to work anymore. So we went across the street and saw people arriving and being seated on the terrace by the same waiter who had refused us.
