06/09/2026: We had parked the car in Arras and taken the train to the Lille flea market, which we left as soon as 6 pm arrived. What a pleasant surprise to find this restaurant! The head waiter was welcoming and professional, always smiling and with a touch of humor. Excellent service, very good quality and delicious food. Calm and peaceful atmosphere. A truly wonderful experience! Thank you to the team! We will gladly return.

04/09/2026: This restaurant was the highlight of my business trip to Arras. I walked in one evening without a reservation. Despite the expected crowd, they quickly found me a table and took care of me immediately. The decor is very understated and elegant, and I was surprised to discover that the restaurant is part of the Mercure Hotel! I opted for the "perfect egg" with Maroilles cheese and gingerbread, which truly lives up to its name! Then came the Angus bavette steak, cooked to perfection, served with fries and a delicious Maroilles sauce! To finish it all off, a divine brioche French toast! With two soft drinks, my bill came to a reasonable €43.50. The price was entirely in line with the quality and generous portions. I would like to thank all the staff for this flawless experience! Keep up the good work! Finally, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Tiphaine for her exceptionally professional service. 17/06/2026: A truly beautiful, original, and exceptionally well-run establishment. It has a welcoming atmosphere and the service is very friendly. The dishes are fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. The skate wing, the oysters, the fillets—everything was perfect. Excellent value for money.

We wanted to come for lunch today; it says open, but it's completely closed. :/ If you ever update your opening hours, please reply to this comment, and I'll remove my review. 21/04/2026: A disappointing evening at a restaurant that was otherwise highly rated and recommended by the local press. Despite high expectations, the dishes turned out to be bland: tasteless chicken, unconvincing slow cooking, very dry ribs, and an insufficient portion of fries. Considering the prices, the quality is clearly not up to par.

06/09/2026: I came to this restaurant, as I often do, for a good, comforting meal. As for the food, no complaints: it was very good. Unfortunately, as for the rest… Upon arrival, we had to wait about ten minutes before being served. During those ten minutes, we truly felt invisible, even though no one was ahead of us. The manager only came to see us much later. Nothing dramatic, however, since he apologized, and this kind of situation can indeed happen. On the other hand, some behaviors are much harder to accept. I completely understand that the job of a waiter is demanding, tiring, and sometimes difficult. But that doesn't justify such a lack of professionalism. In particular, we witnessed the behavior of a young waiter who took it upon himself to imitate a person with a disability in order to make one or more of his colleagues laugh. This did indeed provoke laughter, but particularly loud, persistent, and prolonged laughter that disrupted our meal. We weren't the only ones bothered, as our neighbors also complained about the same situation. Later, we also witnessed some rowdiness among the staff, accompanied by shouts and, once again, loud laughter. This kind of behavior is quite surprising when you've come simply to enjoy a peaceful meal. Finally, the state of the back of the bar left much to be desired: beer bottles on the floor, which a waiter was kicking back under the bar, as well as food and liquids scattered on the floor. I'm a fairly regular customer of this establishment, and it's precisely for this reason that this experience particularly disappointed me. The food was excellent, but the service, the attitude of some of the staff, and the cleanliness of the place now make me think twice before returning. It's a shame, because the food clearly deserves better.

04/08/2026: Lovely restaurant, the staff are very attentive. We tried the grilled meats and the mussels and fries; the waiter recommended the curried mussels, which were excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed them. We'll be back on Sunday. Thank you! 😋

01/08/2026: we told the restaurant at 10:02 that we just drove 12 hours and would eat anything quickly if they would let us in. Many people were sitting and eating at the time. They would not. They just didn’t care. We run a business and would have taken a family at 2 mins after the hour. Different mentality at this restaurant

19/08/2026: The crepes were okay, but unfortunately the service completely ruined the experience. The waitresses were cold, unpleasant, and unwelcoming, especially the blonde waitress, whose attitude was frankly unfriendly. We really felt like we were bothering them rather than being valued customers. After several weeks in France and many wonderful experiences, this is rare enough to warrant mentioning. We won't be back.
