11/08/2026: A truly wonderful place to recommend to others and to return to when we're next in Arras! My fiancé and I had booked for Monday, August 9th at 7 pm for our weekend getaway, and despite our lateness, we were greeted with a smile. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you immediately feel at ease, treated like royalty! Everything was incredible from start to finish: from the cocktails and appetizer platters to the delicious, piping hot dishes and the desserts. And the value for money is unbeatable: it only cost us €78 for the two of us! We had a fantastic time. Thank you, Le 58! 👏🏾👏🏾

21/04/2026: A disappointing evening at a restaurant that was otherwise highly rated and recommended by the local press. Despite high expectations, the dishes turned out to be bland: tasteless chicken, unconvincing slow cooking, very dry ribs, and an insufficient portion of fries. Considering the prices, the quality is clearly not up to par.

11/06/2026: Frankly, our evening was a complete disappointment. The food was simply not up to par. The steak was disarmingly bland, served alongside a salad reduced to three sad-looking leaves with absolutely no dressing. The fries were cooked to a very questionable degree, and the bread was stale. A truly disappointing culinary experience.

01/08/2026: we told the restaurant at 10:02 that we just drove 12 hours and would eat anything quickly if they would let us in. Many people were sitting and eating at the time. They would not. They just didn’t care. We run a business and would have taken a family at 2 mins after the hour. Different mentality at this restaurant

17/02/2026: A very warm welcome for my daughter and me. We were in a hurry and it was late for lunch. We ate very well, the setting is bright, white with a few vibrant pops of color. A very pleasant experience, we will be back.

Vincent in the dining room and Stéphane in the kitchen go above and beyond to offer quality products at very reasonable prices, along with attentive and meticulous service. 22/07/2026: The setting and the crepes lived up to our expectations. However, the wait of over 50 minutes between ordering and receiving a complete crepe made the time feel a bit long.

20/07/2026: The two savory galettes we tried were quite good and of decent quality. The Savoyard galette was lovely (they even asked us how we wanted the ground beef cooked!), and I really enjoyed the large pieces of roasted mushrooms on the Picardy galette. It's just a minor point, but I find it a bit of a shame that you have to pay extra for a few measly leaves of green salad served in a small bowl (except with certain specialties—the more expensive ones—which already include a small side salad). However, the price of a galette with a little salad is still very reasonable for a crêperie so well located on one of the most beautiful squares in the historic center. Although, if you're really hungry, you can easily find more substantial dishes with much more generous sides in the same price range in the neighborhood. I would have gladly given 4 stars if only the savory galette, the location, and the friendly welcome from the waitress on the terrace were to be judged... unfortunately, that wouldn't be enough because the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. Two hours and fifteen minutes to eat a savory galette and a sweet crêpe is inconceivable! The wait was interminable, both for the main course and for dessert. But the most disappointing thing was definitely the botched dessert: two sweet crêpe specialties. They were very stingy, very poorly cooked, and the fillings were of questionable quality. One of the crêpes served was overcooked and dry. A striking contrast to the second crêpe, which was practically raw (all yellow and soggy). In both cases, the texture was unpleasant and tasteless. You couldn't taste the butter, you couldn't taste anything except the sugar. It was pathetic to see... zero enjoyment! If I were a restaurant owner, I would have been very embarrassed to serve two such disastrous and different crêpes, especially given their meager fillings. The so-called strawberry crêpe, priced at €7, was lavishly garnished with two ridiculous dwarf strawberries, so tiny they looked like a bad joke. As for the sad scoop of strawberry ice cream that accompanied it, it was utterly ordinary and failed to salvage this meager and undercooked dessert. The other crêpe, "homemade frangipane with chocolate sauce" (€6) with whipped cream as an extra €1.50, was equally disappointing. I adore frangipane, and it's my go-to choice in many crêperies... but this was the worst I've ever tasted. It was far too runny, excessively sweet, and had absolutely no almond flavor. Definitely not recommended for a frangipane lover. As for the homemade chocolate, it's okay, but there's really very little of it. The Chantilly cream: awful! Limp, lacking density, and overly sweet, it melted instantly (even though it was only 21 degrees Celsius on the terrace). It was on par with the cheapest supermarket Chantilly cream. It's been a very long time since I've eaten such bland, stingy, and poorly made sweet crêpes... And yet, I eat crêpes very often (see my numerous Google reviews of crêperies), and it's quite difficult to disappoint me to this extent. Perhaps I just caught them on a really bad day (were they culinary students?), but the lack of generous portions and the poor quality of the sweet ingredients don't seem to be a one-off. So I don't think I'll be trying it again, at least not the sweet menu (which is just as important as the savory menu in a crêperie). Sorry for this negative review, which I hope will be constructive.
