We were welcomed and served by Quentin and appreciated his professionalism, dedication, passion for his work, and the quality of the conversation at the end of our meal. We were not previously familiar with this restaurant in the group. We highly recommend it and will return on our next trips to the region.

22/11/2025: At Douglas in Montreuil, in a friendly atmosphere, I enjoyed this salmon dish: a different way to taste and savor it. I found that the combination of salmon and apple slices gave the dish a delightful flavor, with a touch of acidity. Even though I don't know exactly what was in it, I loved its freshness and thoroughly enjoyed eating it.
This tapas bar, with its cleverly organized central kitchen, allowed me to have a wonderful time.

08/12/2024: We had a great time at Pot du Clap! The homemade soups and flamiches were absolutely delicious. The dishes are generously served, very hearty, perfect for a comforting meal. In addition, the organization was impeccable and the service very pleasant. A great address that we recommend without hesitation!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

18/02/2026: The managers and staff were very welcoming. The hotel is very cute and charming, having retained its old-world character. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. The restaurant alone deserves at least one Michelin star. The cuisine is delicious, with excellent sauces and jus. The dishes are as beautiful as they are tasty. In short, we had a wonderful time.

20/02/2026: A great place for lunch during a weekend in the charming little town of Montreuil-sur-Mer. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The menu is varied. Special mention to our waiter who was incredibly kind and affectionate with our dog.
06/02/2026: Quick service. Be aware that the restaurant is full on Sundays, so you need to book. That's a good sign.

14/11/2025: Disappointed by the lack of communication when ordering, with the €33 set menu, we were charged an extra €3 for fries, which were also cut too thin and were dry. There were three of us, so €3 x 3. But the waitress failed to mention the extra charge for fries. We won't be back.

The dishes were beautifully prepared and presented, and everything was delicious.
27/02/2026: Very disappointed by this restaurant: a few bits of fat swimming in a very, very greasy sauce. In short, I had to search for the pieces of mutton in the plate containing the "mutton stew." As for the accompanying fries, they must have been reheated four or five times.
Absolutely avoid this place! And spread the word!

The frites were ok - the steak, the duck, the weird prawn and cheese concoction were all inedible.
BTW. sprinkling sesame seeds over congealed gravy does not elevate a dish. It just makes it look weird.

19/12/2025: Once a mecca of Montreuil's gastronomy, nothing remains of the culinary experience one would expect from an establishment recommended by Gault&Millaut, even in 2023:
- The starter was utterly bland, so much so that the staff didn't even count it after my complaints.
- The main course seemed vacuum-packed, lacking flavor in every aspect.
- And the icing on the cake was the so-called mango mille-feuille, which, not only wasn't made with mango but was vaguely decorated with microscopic pieces of mango, contained neither pastry cream nor anything resembling it, but a simple, unappealing cream that left a bad taste in your stomach!
- As for the service, it was incredibly slow, even though we were practically the only customers! That's really expensive for such a poor culinary experience...
This establishment sadly reflects the damage done to French gastronomy by the rampant industrialization of the restaurant industry...
14/12/2025: What a disappointment! We had booked a table for eight people on a Saturday night. The initial welcome was adequate, but then everything went downhill. We waited two hours for our main course, which arrived cold, of course. The presentation on the plates was far from impressive! We were freezing, and on this December weekend, we would have appreciated a lit fireplace. The desserts were overpriced for what they were.
And to top it all off, I hadn't brought my dog because I had been told to do so when I made the reservation: no problem. But when we arrived, there was a dog... strange. Double standards.
Consequently, the bill was far too high for such a disappointing experience.
There are plenty of restaurants in Montreuil. You'll find better elsewhere.
