10/10/2026: Passing through in our campervan and visiting the ramparts, we found a superb restaurant with a warm welcome, excellent food, very good wine, and superb seafood sauerkraut, etc… an address to remember, we'll be back
02/10/2026: A solid restaurant, the food was good, but there were also a few points that were less than ideal. Such as: no amuse-bouche with the aperitif, and we were finished with the aperitif, starter, and main course after an hour (dinner on Friday evening). The three wines by the glass were average and were overshadowed by the rich flavors of the razor clams, squid and shrimp croquette, calf's liver, and tuna tataki. But regarding the food, there is little to complain about.

28/09/2026: I've been a regular at Chez Murat for 10 years and I'm never disappointed! The welcome is fantastic, the staff are friendly and they clearly enjoy their work! The kebab is delicious, and the fries are excellent! The prices are reasonable and the food is great. Go without hesitation!

02/09/2026: Nice little bar! They offer cocktails without telling you the price beforehand, as it's not listed on the drinks menu! Otherwise, the finger food is decent, even quite generous in some cases (good value for money). Young staff!

10/09/2026: Best pork chop I have ever eaten. For starter the anchovy broth with beans was superb. Such a welcoming team and enjoyed the shared tables chatting with other customers.

24/09/2026: Lovely brasserie in the city center; you can sit both under cover outside and inside. You can choose between a 2- or 3-course plat de jour for a very reasonable price or order à la carte. They have a small, compact menu with plenty of choice. I had a delicious steak, perfectly cooked with a cheese sauce, and my husband had a well-filled omelet. Save room for the café gourmet, as it is truly extensive. Great prices. Nice people work there. Highly recommended.

16/05/2026: We can't comment on the hotel as we unfortunately weren't able to stay there… but we will most certainly return. As for the restaurant, it richly deserves its Michelin star. An explosion of flavors in every dish, the presentation and cooking are simply perfect… a huge congratulations to the chefs and also to the waiters and waitresses who present your meal with professionalism, smiles, and friendliness. Everything is absolutely perfect for a wonderful evening, and the value for money is more than reasonable.
Thank you again for this marvelous experience.

The welcome was truly warm, the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We immediately felt at ease, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
And as a bonus, the food was excellent! Delicious, well-prepared dishes that made us want to come back. A place to recommend without hesitation.
21/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to rediscover Mr. Duvivier's flavorful cuisine, long known in the Lille suburbs... here everything is fresh and homemade, so it's normal to wait between courses, and it allows you to savor a good time with friends or family.

14/06/2026: Not a good visit whereas previous visits have been enjoyable.
When my steak arrived I was alarmed at the smell. It didn't smell like charred beef, it smelled strongly as if it was off. (Old, stale and very smelly.)
Two small bites and I realised I couldn't eat it.
Also the béarnaise sauce was in a tiny pot and bore no resemblance to what it should have been.
Staff were fine, asked if I'd like something else. Burger arrived, it was ok. I've had much better.
Then came the bill...
They charged me 50% of the beef steak that "I didn't like" rather than accepting it was inedible. Also charged me for the burger.
Beyond cross. That is not how you treat customers. I have rarely ever returned anything in a restaurant and to be charged 50% for a failed dish is beyond my comprehension.
No, I will not be returning to the Darnetal.

28/09/2026: A very good address among this chef's many in this city. A bistronomic restaurant in a pleasant setting. Friendly service. Very good food. I think it's good value for money. Excellent rib steak, amazing tarte tatin with delicious crème fraîche. Served for two, it delighted all six of us. Fried baby calamari as a starter with gribiche sauce. 100 euros per person for six, including starter, main course, dessert, and three bottles of wine. I recommend this restaurant in a pretty little town I discovered.

09/09/2026: The waiter was there without any waiting and with a smile. The table service was very friendly, the children's menu was excellent and their opinions were taken into account, and the food was superb. The desserts were excellent. We will be back... an address to remember!
