15/04/2026: We went to spend the day in Collioure and looked on maps for a place to have lunch. We chose El Capillo because of the good reviews. It did not disappoint us, quite the opposite. Everything was delicious and without wanting to be pretentious. The only thing we missed was the menu in a language other than French. But even though we didn't speak it, the waiter made the effort to understand us. If we go back to Collioure we will definitely go back!

The staff are professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, particularly when it comes to wine recommendations, which elevate the overall dining experience. While Le Neptune is positioned in the higher price range, the combination of outstanding food, impeccable service, and an extraordinary setting makes it absolutely worth it. This is more than just a meal — it’s a complete experience and a must-visit restaurant when in Collioure.

13/04/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent cuisine await you at this restaurant, located slightly off the beaten path in Collioure, but well worth the trip. They offer a lovely cocktail and wine list, some very well-executed "classic" tapas, and others that are quite original and delicious. In short, a restaurant you absolutely must discover! 😋

10/04/2026: A truly excellent find. Nestled between land and sea, this restaurant, just two streets from the beach, offers haute couture tapas in a warm and inviting setting. Each dish is a work of art, a nod to the Fauvist style that has permeated this coastal village for so many years. The flavor combinations will delight your palate; some classic Catalan recipes are beautifully revisited, such as the crema catalana prepared like an espuma. The service is also top-notch! So, take our advice: enjoy a gastronomic break at Restaurant Vermeil and then head straight to the seafront.

23/04/2026: Restaurant housed in an authentic old stone building. The restaurant is located at the rear in a garden, blending modern design with stone. With parasols and sheltered dining areas for shade or cool evenings, everyone will find a table to their liking. The service is very pleasant, with helpful staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. The fish and shellfish are fresh; I recommend the Royal Seafood Platter.

21/04/2026: Excellent dishes, bursting with flavor. We all thoroughly enjoyed them. One small drawback: the dishes arrived lukewarm (I don't know why, perhaps there are no heat lamps in the kitchen?). But the flavors of the food and the quality of the service are well worth 5 stars! We will be back.

The flavors are surprising, unexpected, and harmonious; each dish is a discovery. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. We had a very pleasant time. Amandine is incredibly kind, and Masashi is a talented chef. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Collioure!

The welcome was friendly and pleasant nonetheless, but the menu was extremely expensive for what it offered. Special mention goes to the fish soup, which saved the day. The tiramisu was very average, which was a shame.

07/03/2026: A very mixed experience. While the service was impeccable and very welcoming, the food unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. The seafood seemed to have come straight from the freezer and was sorely lacking in seasoning. The lack of background music made the atmosphere a bit cold, which accentuated the feeling of poor value for money. A shame, because the waitress was very attentive.
