27/02/2026: We had a wonderful evening: the dishes were delicious and generous, and the service was attentive without being stuffy, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We opted for the 8-course surprise menu: we weren't disappointed! The dishes were beautifully presented, seasoned in original ways, and the seasonal vegetables were prepared to perfection.

Its atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with vintage decor that transports you to another era. The service is excellent, always friendly and attentive, making you feel truly welcome. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of what they offer. It's ideal for a coffee, a leisurely breakfast, or simply a break while exploring the city. Highly recommended if you're strolling through Perpignan!

02/03/2026: The waitress was very pleasant, but I found the portion sizes and prices outrageous considering the small amounts. Two measly slices of foie gras, one single lettuce leaf, and a small glass of white wine (not a regular glass) for over €13. A piece of fried meat and, again, that single lettuce leaf for €33... That was the last time we'll ever set foot in that place.

01/03/2026: I came to eat here yesterday and was frankly very disappointed. I ordered cod au gratin with aioli… except there was no aioli on it, no taste, no smell. I had to ask for some on the side. I clearly stated that I have a food allergy, and yet I was still served a dish containing the allergen. This isn't right; it's even dangerous. As for the owner, his attitude was truly appalling and unprofessional. He speaks very rudely to his employees, very loudly, in front of the entire restaurant. It's embarrassing and frankly shameful to witness as a customer. I do want to mention, however, that the waiter we had was pleasant. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

01/03/2026: Excellent brunch on Saturday morning! Fresh, local, and delicious products. For €18 per person, you really get a great deal. I highly recommend trying it!

21/02/2026: We went there on Saturday for brunch. Everything was excellent. Everything is homemade with high-quality organic products. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A platter with lots of treats and bread, butter, jams, tea, and coffee were available.

05/02/2026: This is one of my favorite restaurants in Perpignan. I usually stop by here every time I visit the city. Remember to book a table. The restaurant is well-visited and has many regulars and it is almost always full for lunch. On this visit, I had a selection of dishes from the menu of the day. I chose squid rings with sweet and sour sauce for a starter. Pork jowl for the main course and for dessert nougat ice cream on a base of chestnut cream, on top a little whipped cream. I finished with coffee. All the dishes were beautifully presented and simply delicious. The service was as always friendly, welcoming, attentive and present. And lightning fast. The atmosphere of the place. Good and cozy. Highly recommended as a good restaurant to visit if you come to the city. REMEMBER TO BOOK A TABLE.

Flavored butter?) and the scallops were drowned in a sea of ​​other flavors. However, the service was impeccable.

18/01/2026: The neighborhood isn't great, but the restaurant is a gem! The food is delicious (we had an excellent cassoulet for dinner). And the service is perfect, very professional yet warm and friendly. The setting is pleasant. I'll go back to try the boneless pig's trotters and the kidneys in Banyuls wine sauce. Note that they only serve dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays, and are closed on weekends. That's unusual. I'd also like to try the lunch menu one of these days. A restaurant to discover in Perpignan.

27/02/2026: Brasserie Balthazar is a truly welcoming place, reminiscent of Parisian brasseries. The decor is magnificent, and we received a very warm welcome from the owners. The meal was excellent; the ribeye steak and calf's head were both delicious. We highly recommend this establishment, where quality is guaranteed. A must-visit in Perpignan for lovers of fine food.

We see that the owners are passionate and the cuisine is excellent (and that is an understatement), the service and wine advice are those of a passionate person, not to mention the place which has incredible charm. 16/11/2025: By chance, I was invited to and discovered "L'Estudiantine." I was expecting a small restaurant just for students, which it may well be, as its delicious cuisine welcomes everyone with love. However, there was also a charming clientele (of all ages), and I was happily among them. The chef's excellent cooking allowed us to enjoy some wonderful dishes, and we were a small group of people who savored the delicious food, including my friends and myself. The warm welcome from the owners was much appreciated. I wish them much success, as they have taken over this friendly, "homemade" restaurant, and as the saying goes, "Good house, we'll be back."
