09/07/2025: We almost didn’t make it to this restaurant as L’Etage is hidden behind an old door, but we are so pleased we did. It was the highlight of our stay in Lyon and of our two week holiday in France. Guillame multi-tasks as the waiter, chef and raconteur. The food was exquisite, Michelin star worthy and we loved the choice of wines. Such an intimate space with only 6 tables and fabulous views out onto the square and fountain. We only had a 2 night stay in Lyon but learnt so much of the history from Guillame which really brought the city alive for us. We will be recommending to all our friends. Thankyou Guillame.

26/01/2026: I celebrated my 18th birthday in one of the bar's private rooms. The buffet was fantastic, the room was lovely and perfect for the occasion. And the staff were wonderful, very friendly, both when making the reservation and on the day itself. We had a superb evening!

02/01/2025: Really nice place, cozy atmosphere and fair prices. The food was really great, a great Lyonnais bouchon place. The set menu was really delicious. Definitely a great Lyonnais restaurant to try if you are in Lyon.

31/12/2024: I live in the United States, and my little brother lives in Lyon. During my visit after several years of absence in France, one of my wishes was to eat in a Lyonnais cork. My brother managed to get a reservation for 14 people. We were warmly welcomed. The food was delicious, and the service impeccable. Our children and teenagers also loved it. I recommend this restaurant 100%!

06/12/2025: I've been waiting for my food for an hour. And it's clearly not going to arrive anytime soon.

05/12/2025: A €14 salad consisting mainly of lettuce leaves! The Caesar salad had mayonnaise dressing and a few breaded pieces of chicken. No croutons. The Parmesan had no flavor. Avoid it.

08/12/2025: A lovely meal on a Sunday during the Festival of Lights with friends. A warm welcome, a beautiful setting, and delicious food. A classic bouchon-style meal; the dishes were tasty and generous! As a bonus, a quick photo with the owner – thank you to him for this delightful touch, which we truly appreciated. This restaurant is a sure bet; we will definitely be back!

21/09/2024: A gem to discover and whose address should be carefully kept in your notebook We enjoyed ourselves, the dishes were generous, excellent sweetbreads with morels and a melt-in-the-mouth praline tart and let's not forget the sparkling Bugey which is worth its grattons dish. 12/09/2024: What a great restaurant! Typical French home cooking in absolute perfection. I've had much worse meals in restaurants awarded a Michelin star. The “Oeufs en meurette” as a starter, the “Poulet au ail” as the main course and the “Parfait poire” as a dessert were my menu of choice and the price was ridiculously low for the quality presented. As I said, it feels like you're a millimeter away from the Michelin star here. In short: I have rarely eaten better and am very grateful for the experience.

We had a good time as a couple, small problem, perhaps, the musical background is perhaps not adapted to the place, it's a personal choice, but dining in a gourmet restaurant, while being relaxed, that's it. This is modern cuisine...
