21/04/2026: Simple but good food. Classic cheese platter. Hotel atmosphere. Please make sure to update your menus on your website and in the rooms, as not everything listed in the apps was available in the dining room. A shame (server informed).

19/04/2026: We chose the daily specials menu. The dishes were very good and quite generous. The service was very pleasant, the staff were very professional and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy.

15/08/2025: A very good experience; the mussels in cream sauce were excellent, and they served mojitos as an aperitif with their own special touch. Very welcoming staff 🙂

14/08/2025: Absolutely avoid this place... following our visit, my wife suffered food poisoning from a salad; as for me, my mackerel was served with new potatoes swimming in butter, with no lemon whatsoever to accompany the fish; and my café liégeois was completely melted under the pretext that they added real coffee (perhaps it would be wise to let it cool before adding it to the ice cream).

17/05/2026: Nice bar with happy hour until 10 pm! Not a huge atmosphere, but still had a good time.

17/05/2026: If you are both a smoker and a regular customer, you have the right to smoke inside. That's what the waiter will say if you mention it because you're bothered by the smoke.

31/05/2026: Hello, I went to this establishment for my birthday (thanks to a Smartbox). The food was really good, even if slightly too spicy. There were two cats in the dining room; they were cute, but it's true that, logically, they shouldn't be there from a hygiene standpoint. But it didn't bother us. The other animals nearby, like the chickens and roosters, were a nice change from other restaurants. It's a shame the owners will soon be closing due to retirement (well-deserved). We wish them good luck and a pleasant future retirement. Sincerely,

18/05/2026: We had lunch today thanks to a gift box we received for our wedding, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu was excellent: champagne accompanied by two delicious amuse-bouches, and the rest of the meal was just as wonderful. We thank the chef and the owner for the quality of his ingredients and cuisine, as well as the owner's wife, who was very pleasant throughout the meal. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

24/04/2026: Quiet room. Noisy front door. Impeccable cleaning. Pleasant housekeeping staff. Spacious and pleasant lobby. Bring your own bottled water; the tap water is disgusting: too chlorinated. The water in the bathtub is light gray. The bedding (uncomfortable mattress, bed linen too short so it constantly leaks)

17/03/2026: Nice hotel with lovely staff who all try to be helpful. As mentioned previously in reviews rooms are slightly dated & not designed well … with doors opening awkwardly restricting space… no bottle water in room & TV not a smart one… saying all that the room was comfortable for the one night we stayed .. breakfast was really good with plenty of choice .. we had free parking at the front of the hotel which limited… We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant ( review on restaurant) .. the hotel served a purpose breaking our journey on our way home .. we wouldn’t hesitate using it again as the price was excellent.

29/05/2026: Lunch for 2. No menu, but 2 dishes available, just as easy. Nice welcome. Had a good meal, nothing gourmet, at a reasonable price.

27/05/2026: My wife came to buy a milkshake towards the end and there were some kind of flies in it. Right from the start, the taste wasn't right. I don't recommend checking your drinks!

02/06/2026: We mostly enjoyed the restaurant 😁 An Italian salad for me, not bad but I was really looking forward to it! Luckily my shandy arrived quickly 🥵 A steak tartare for my partner, without any seasoning! Apparently that's a big deal 😉. The service was slow, very slow...but friendly

11/06/2026: Unfortunately, we had a view of the toilets at the back of the restaurant! If you're lucky enough to be seated in the dining room, the view is lovely. The service wasn't great, but the food was good.

02/12/2025: We tried the restaurant for a birthday. The setting was great. The welcome was friendly, but we were very disappointed with the meal choices. A set menu is advertised on the website (and we received it), but the à la carte dishes are also listed on the website, which doesn't exist. A real shame. We complained, and we were told that the website wasn't up to date and that only the set menu was available. A bit disappointed. The products were fresh and of good quality, but we would have liked more choices without so many extra charges (3 euros for a starter, 3 or 5 euros for a main course). We weren't expecting that. What a shame.

From the moment you step through the doors, the atmosphere is one of tranquility: a place that combines the charm of a historic castle with the comfort of a luxury hotel. The welcome and accommodations were exceptional. I must commend the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The wellness area—sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming pool—is designed to offer a moment of absolute relaxation. The food is outstanding, creative and refined cuisine paired with a lovely glass of wine. Highly recommended!

03/05/2026: Unacceptable! I ordered a syrup with water, and they served me syrup with the dregs of a large bottle of Vittel (already opened). The ficelle picarde was very small and tasteless. A portion of fries was €7, and a simple sugar crepe was also €7. The decor was dreary and poorly lit.

24/02/2026: One evening, during the rush before a late-night concert, I ordered steak and fries and my wife had a ficelle picarde. The steak, advertised as flank steak, was a cheap, tough, and tasteless cut—undoubtedly from an old cow. Definitely not flank steak. And the fries were frozen, unacceptable in a proper restaurant. My wife's ficelle picarde was actually a simple ham and mushroom crepe, nothing like the real ficelle picarde recipe. At over €20 for the meal, it was terrible, I certainly won't be back!

20/04/2026: The service on the terrace was a little slow, but understandable, it was the flea market 😊 Lunch: a baked Camembert with walnuts, a real treat... fries, salads, garlic bread. Happy with my choice. I'll definitely be back in October.

Whether you're looking for a drink in a wild and verdant setting or a delicious meal featuring ingredients sourced directly from the estate, this is the perfect place to be. We enjoyed the buffalo, which was an unexpected and delightful discovery. The service is excellent, friendly, and cheerful! I highly recommend it if you're visiting the area.

31/03/2026: The restaurant looked closed, so we went up and check it out. They were not and what a pleasant surprise! I had de cassolette de St. Jaque and for main Ficille Picarde. Both delicious. Staff was kind and attentive and the environment is such a nice place in the country. It was not busy at all, but why, it is really so nice.

21/10/2025: A pleasant Sunday afternoon on the terrace of this lovely bar with a view of the cathedral. The waiter gave us good advice on our choice of cocktail! In the end, we only drank one! Thank you for the very friendly service!

10/10/2025: Passing by chance with a friend, we decided to have a drink, we were served by a tattooed waiter with white hair, I don't know his name but thank you very much for his welcome and warm service, we ended up staying until closing time 😅
