02/09/2024: Very pretty brasserie, with a view of the kitchen. Outdoor terrace, well decorated room. We were served in 15 minutes. The mussels were well filled, the fries crispy. Great!

01/09/2024: Too much waiting!!! Waiting 1 hour outside when there are free tables is still okay, but waiting 30 minutes for someone to come and take your order... very disappointed knowing that my last visits were pleasant. An obvious lack of employees

16/11/2025: A very good brasserie. Always a warm welcome. The daily special is always excellent. All the ingredients are fresh. I highly recommend it. However, the owner should pay a little more attention to how he speaks to his employees and customers. We're not animals. He should keep his profound life lessons to himself. Well, I'm adding more stars because I had a good time there and the food was excellent. Really. I just didn't want to have a drink served with the waitresses in tears because the owner had spoken rudely to them earlier.

15/11/2025: Excellent meal! We've been coming for years and are willing to travel to come back! The waiter was very pleasant, and the service was quick (starter, main course, and dessert in 1 hour and 15 minutes). I highly recommend it! 🤗

24/11/2025: We booked a hotel from Saturday to Monday at the Best Western hotel Saint Claude in Peronne because we had car issues and need to stay in a hotel. On Monday morning, we asked if we could keep the room a little longer (for a fee) because of our pets and did not want to wait in the cold with them. This was not possible because they had to clean the room before 3 p.m. But we could stay in our room for another whole night and pay the full night. Excuse me? So paying a small fee until 6 p.m. is not possible, but paying for a whole night is? This made me so sad. We left at 15.30 hours but paid extra night. The hotel wasn't even fully booked; there were only two couples at breakfast. We will never complain if something is disappointing, but if you feel that you are not being listened or helped, then of course I will speak up: We didn't ask for cleaning these days, no extra towels, the breakfast was really bad, empty bins, bread that was already hard, no fresh rolls or anything, and what was full, fruit bowl, came from a tin and was mushy and... also something very special: We were informed that the hotel is unstaffed from 9 p.m. onwards, so you need a code to enter. To our surprise, this is not only the case in the evening, but also during the day. Imagine if you don't have the code with you during te day. After we went outside on Sunday at 12 mid day, and returned to find the hotel closed? It was totally dark inside. You could call an emergency number, but no one answered after several attempts? So we stood outside in the cold waiting. Unbelievable... And besides... they claim to speak English? I don't know who, but they don't bother to try. You expect people to show a little humanity and be helpful in this situation, but we were completely wrong. We feel that we are not being taken seriously and that we are still being saddled with more extra costs.

23/01/2026: I didn't know you had to be friends with the saleswoman who works Wednesdays at 9 a.m. to skip ahead of everyone else. Between the lack of respect I've already witnessed towards her colleagues (like saying her colleagues are useless... and so on) and now the lack of respect towards some customers... I'd like to ask the manager of this store to give me this woman's schedule so I don't have to shop there during her shifts anymore.

02/12/2025: We tried the restaurant for a birthday. The setting was great. The welcome was friendly, but we were very disappointed with the meal choices. A set menu is advertised on the website (and we received it), but the à la carte dishes are also listed on the website, which doesn't exist. A real shame. We complained, and we were told that the website wasn't up to date and that only the set menu was available. A bit disappointed. The products were fresh and of good quality, but we would have liked more choices without so many extra charges (3 euros for a starter, 3 or 5 euros for a main course). We weren't expecting that. What a shame.

From the moment you step through the doors, the atmosphere is one of tranquility: a place that combines the charm of a historic castle with the comfort of a luxury hotel. The welcome and accommodations were exceptional. I must commend the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The wellness area—sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming pool—is designed to offer a moment of absolute relaxation. The food is outstanding, creative and refined cuisine paired with a lovely glass of wine. Highly recommended!

18/01/2026: Despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, it was opened twice during our stay. Furthermore, when we left our room, a housekeeping cart was parked right outside our door. The staff seemed very eager for us to leave the room, even though we had checked out an hour before our scheduled departure time.

15/01/2026: We'd booked an apartment with Booking.com in cental Abbeville for a one night stopover on the way to the Biarritz area. We arrived around 6:30p.m but by 7:30 p.m we had left after discovering cockroaches. Spotted the Mercure nearby and thankfully were able to book a family room in this clean, elegant hotel. What began as an unpleasant, stressful start to our holiday ended up being relaxed and comfortable. Thanks Mercure!

09/12/2025: Manneken Pis: The Belgian Spirit, Exceptional Service! A bar that truly lives up to its name! The decor, especially the statues by the bar, evokes the charming atmosphere of Bruges and the spirit of Belgium. The waiter was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick, high-quality, and impeccable. It's the perfect place for a drink. Highly recommended!

09/07/2025: Perhaps it was a bad day at the restaurant, the staff appeared stressed and upset, despite that the place was not overly busy. We ordered two starters and one main dish, something the waitress found very unusual. The food came in partial deliveries, we had to ask for cutlery, for bread and to remind her of the water ordered. I asked if I could charge my phone in a wall socket, but was told none were available. When pointing to an external one on the terrace I was told that my charger would cause disruption. In summary, unfriendly and incompetent service. The food was reasonable, nothing special.

07/07/2025: delicious meal, beautiful decor and good service, it was raining this weekend so there was no atmosphere in the whole city and I am sure that when the weather is nice the atmosphere is very pleasant with the terrace and the mezzanine!
