03/08/2024: I have never had anything to complain about this bakery, always very satisfied until today... €6.90 for a "bagnat" which for me would be more in the realm of the children's menu given the size, but I'm not talking about the menu, it's the price of the sandwich alone! 1 slice of tomato, 1 salad leaf and a little tuna mayo mixture which must have cost less than €2 to make, it's more than excessive! This will unfortunately be my last visit to this bakery which I appreciated... after all the service is correct and the place pleasant, but very disappointed 😞

29/09/2024: Very disappointing restaurant for 38 euros per menu!! Very poor value for money! As soon as you arrive, you have to order the included dessert dishes! We will bring you the bread and the carafe of water straight away! 5 minutes later it’s already happening! Too bad no aperitif, we were not allowed to order it like coffee at the end of the meal or a possible sparkling water!!!Stale toast! Very average home smoked fish! Then, we announce cod and end up with sea bream swimming in a pool of sauce! Express dinner! 1h10! Too bad for a restaurant that advertises a Master Restaurateur! The waiter taps you on the shoulder to address you!! First and last time at your place! Signed: “Master” food critic!

21/09/2024: Une excellente surprise. Des plats parfois originaux et toujours bien faits… tout en restant simple. Un tarif très abordable… Un service sympathique et efficace… Donc un incontournable !!!

27/04/2024: Viandes arrivées froides ,le cuistot a juste tiédi après retour en cuisine et a mélangé les assiettes,la viande est revenue tiède et l accompagnement froid.... juste le serveur très gêné de l incompétence et de la mauvaise fois du cuisinier. Ambiance entre associés qui joue sur la qualité,a fuir.....

03/09/2024: Excellent restaurant having kept the original charm both inside and outside with original decoration. Top service and with great recommendations despite a few missing dishes. We had a great time and were able to leave with our bottle of wine! 🍷

01/09/2024: So we must have had the apprentice chef…. Everything was OK… but not the usual French level of quality we normally expect. We have half French so know what we are talking about…. The server was busy, but very pleasant… Perhaps the Sunday night on his own wasn’t the best time to judge him. They seemed very very very rushed to get every course out asap, even at an early time for France (avant 21h00). The food appeared ok/mediocre… certainly not representative of the photos in the reviews… the taste was about similar; we felt we could have done just as well at home, if not better… I would give it an 2-3/5 overall….. but perhaps on a good night it is better?!

01/09/2024: I didn't put any ☆, that's normal! Certainly we came to visit Lille, for the day, during the Olympic Games, but this restaurant should have anticipated this influx of customers, both for the quantity of dishes, as well as the service and reception. We arrived for noon, with a crowded terrace, but an indoor room half full... we were asked to return by 1 p.m. What we are doing, because we wanted to sit down at this institution!!! Reset a second time. No reservations possible I specify, at least what we were told. The pompom, "we" inform us that this will not be possible, because in the kitchen they are overwhelmed, that there have been a lot of people for 15 days, that they are tired! Real real! During the Lille clearance sale, how is it going? Or simpler, all year round how does it work? When you're a restaurateur, you're supposed to receive customers! So people, therefore cooking, therefore serving, not counting your hours. Otherwise you have to change jobs. We can't say to customers, "I can't see you, I'm tired, because I've been working too much these last few days!" Instead, say "sorry, we're full."

10/09/2024: Nous y sommes allés à plusieurs reprises pour notre pacs un midi notre mariage civil et le nouvel an passé. Jamais déçu, des plats excellents et frais avec diversité, un très bon service , pour dire nous sommes déçu que d une chose de ne pas avoir pu faire le repas de notre mariage religieux du 7 septembre , nous contraignant à aller ailleurs .

18/09/2024: I don't recommend it, very friendly staff but avoid apart from Picardy string the rest is inedible thick tough meat and above all let's not talk about cleanliness even a dog in the kitchen

15/09/2024: Very disappointing, several times we come and they bring us cold dishes!!! (And the other tables too) Especially for the price!!! Plus the frozen fries are really not great. Personally we will go elsewhere next time!

22/08/2024: Très bon rapport qualité prix, viande originale (buffle), service rapide et agréable, le chien admis sans problème et réservation acceptée malgré une salle presque comble.

19/08/2024: Un peu déçu d'avoir eu un menu guinguette un vendredi soir alors qu'en principe c'est le samedi Le service était très long et "approximatif", manque un verre, manque une fourchette.... Par contre la planche proposée est très bonne et variée.
