16/09/2024: Having stayed and eaten at The Feniere for 6 times in previous years when Reine Samuut was the proprietor, we always used this hotel to stay at when we were travelling through the South it was our banker knowing we would be happy there and get good Service. We hadn’t booked as we found ourselves in the area we were lucky (so we thought )there was a room available for 2 nights. The room was very sparsely furnished no headboard, Tv , no Fridge paintwork marked, bathroom curtain over the bath for the shower, paint coming off the tiles on the vanity unit. We ate in the Restaurant completely dissatisfied a choice of 2 starter, 2 mains which one was fish, 2 desserts. All courses were tasteless. We are not Vegetarian or vegan we are happy to eat vegetarian if there is taste we like good food but felt that the plot has been lost here. In all style over substance The Sommelier was dressed in what I would garden in ! a sloppy jumper! The music in the background was very dreary it was very badly lit no lights to show off the lovely grounds with the olive trees, as they always used to be. The reception staff were very accommodating , So no we will not return to our once favourite hotel restaurant .

29/08/2024: Une expérience scandaleusement prétentieuse, agrémentée d’une nourriture insipide, inintéressante qui se résume essentiellement à des pois chiches sous toutes ses formes (y compris saupoudrés de sucre glace en dessert) et de quelques feuilles microscopiques de shiso glanées dans le jardin et nappées de mayonnaise végétale au beurre d’amandes. Précisons que le menu ‘mer’ comprend 1 huître bouillie, 3 moules et un morceau de rascasse brûlée mais crue servie avec ses écailles, le tout facturé 900€ pour 4 avec les boissons. Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à résister au fou rire lors de la succession des plats aussi mauvais les uns que les autres, accompagnés de descriptifs édifiants concernant la vision de la cheffe sur le pois chiches comme futur de l’alimentation (dire que je croyais que c’étaient les insectes, l’avenir!). Le pompon était la ‘mise en bouche’: le tofu de pois chiches saupoudré de thé matcha qui a l’avantage d’après la serveuse de n’avoir aucun goût et donc de préparer parfaitement notre palais à l’expérience gastronomique qui allait suivre. Le point d’orgue étant une crème glacée aux pois chiches saupoudrée d’herbes de Provence en dessert. Je précise que le menu qui nous a été remis ne mentionnait ni les plats ni le prix du repas. Bref un vol éhonté.

11/08/2024: 2 Sunday salads at €18.50 which are certainly leftovers from the week. Wilted salad without seasoning, tomato tart, industrial curd as well as fries, no raw vegetables, homemade toast with 4 pieces of bacon on top and béchamel sauce. Everything didn't seem fresh. Lamentable! We left without finishing the plates and did not try dessert. I am from the region and I am dismayed to see that this type of establishment welcomes our tourists in this way.

05/08/2024: Visit to the roadside restaurant. Super beautiful setting but the rest needs to be reviewed.. A warm goat's cheese salad at 12e (the small one) we expect to have something better than a salad base without vinaigrette with 4 small pieces of bread with thin slices of goat's cheese! Dessert supposedly a fruit crumbre with ice cream for 6th.. without crumble because the waitress made a mistake that wasn't the recipe, so a ramekin with fruit and very acidic juice.. I am not at all satisfied with my visit...

03/09/2024: Very welcoming staff. Excellent service. Dishes of very good quality and more than sufficient. We highly recommend this establishment without any problem.

29/08/2024: Long… long… and very very long!! For a dish for a table of four people, around 50 minutes of waiting. A salad, a dish of the day and 2 pizzas… Pizza oven that was not working well that day. Something that can happen... but no communication with the customer who waits, waits, and waits again... Tapas offered after an hour, but we would have preferred to be served normally, or to change our dishes if necessary! Result, pizza with soggy dough because it was not cooked, very stuffy. A four cheese with 3 unfortunate pieces of goat cheese and gruyere to knock the socks off. Really very disappointing, yet in a friendly setting in Avignon, and our server who did what he could... No action on the bill because they “can’t”! A real joke!! I absolutely do not recommend it for lunch except for a drink, because the doses are correct.

28/08/2024: Cet établissement mérite d’être connu Nous y sommes retournés deux soirs d’affiles Nous n’avions pas regardé les commentaires et heureusement car nous aurions manqué cette adresse qui mérite le détour Accueil très sympathique par la serveuse qui y met tout son cœur Les plats à partager sont de qualité Nous y retournerons lors d’un prochain passage à L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue L’endroit est sympa et surtout au calme de la ville N’hésitez pas à y aller

04/09/2024: Hygiene and cleanliness are a big concern. We all know that a Flunch is not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but you can expect a minimum of cleanliness. Upon entering, we have glasses, cutlery and plates washed, but not clean. The ground and equipment are dilapidated. The toilets are scandalous. Certainly, they seem to be shared with the Hyper U, but there is a specific entry for the Flunch. The sinks are dirty, the floor of the men's toilets does not seem to have been cleaned for a long time, the door to the men's toilet compartment seems destroyed and without a lock for at least a few weeks. There are no toilet seats either. Apparently it's not much better on the women's side. The staff was friendly "just the minimum". The food was typical of a Flunch, the prices were quite adequate. It's a shame. A minimum of renovation, repair of the dishwasher and a more motivated staff would enormously change the atmosphere.

11/12/2024: I take my hat off to the person who was there I'm used to managing teams and I can tell you that this one. If I had a business in this region I guarantee you that I would poach it. The whole time we took our part she didn't stop working. Doing maintenance is friendly with customers always with a smile. In short, difficult to find these days...

04/12/2024: Came a few times, the waitress Morgane seems to me to be very nice, warm and very smiling, the bread is good, the value for money is reasonable, I will come back

13/08/2024: Poor service and very difficult to contact. After several phone calls and emails was finally able to make a booking using a voucher for this hotel. Despite booking several months in advance and planning around this weekend, the hotel abruptly canceled the reservation shortly before our stay saying their policy had changed and they no longer honored this voucher.

20/07/2024: Hotel very well located, 5 minutes walk from the center of Gordes. Very pretty panorama, breathtaking view of the village. Well maintained and very pleasant swimming pool. Comfortable “Prestige” room but in need of updating. Regrettable absence of a mini fridge (more useful than a bathroom scale!). Full breakfast but with imposed content. No eggs, neither hard-boiled nor cooked.

24/11/2024: To flee. the hygiene of the restaurant is deplorable (hair in the dishes and very dirty cheese bowls) and no excuses. I'm not talking about the reception, in particular the young man with black hair wearing glasses (he will recognize himself). We won't go back there again, that's obvious.

15/09/2024: Very good meal, the concept is super nice, the dishes very good. Single menu, but replacement offer. Everything was top notch!

29/09/2024: The staff is very friendly. Good cooking.

20/09/2024: Forget it, don't bother. We already left after half a minute. The waiter felt it necessary to make fun of us in front of his teenage friends. Very unprofessional, although there are staff in the area who are well trained.

26/09/2024: 1 star, I would have liked to put 0, a figure equivalent to the number of drinks we were able to order. The waiter decided to ignore us (for a good fifteen minutes) except to tell us to move our chairs. So we left with a lot of regret, like the group of people at the table next to us because of the wait and the friendliness of the waiter. Even the bar dog preferred to go and complain to a bar located higher up in the village (much too cute dog ^^)

24/09/2024: We were received in a very unpleasant manner, yet we were the only customers at the opening and we came for a coffee. No polite words and bordering on aggressive. The waiter refused us access to the upstairs terrace, claiming that it was reserved for lunch, it was 10:15 in the morning.

10/09/2024: Excellent experience in this campsite on a human scale and close to amenities! We will return there without any hesitation, not to mention this magnificent sunny region!

10/09/2024: Quiet campsite on a human scale. A very good stay. Doesn't deserve at all the horrible comments seen previously. A very nice entertainment team, super dynamic and a great aquatic area. The only downside is the state of our very dilapidated mobile home.
