05/09/2024: Mostly tasteless but good service. I wonder why this restaurant is recommended in some travel guides. There was an old singer outside. He was too loud and not very good. He destroyed the quiet atmosphere of the street. I was happy when he left.

05/09/2024: Tourist trap. First of all, the photos taken by the management are showing dishes that doesn’t exist on the menu. Second, service is poor. The quality of the food is less than average.

07/11/2025: When visiting the Palais des Papes in Avignon, the least you can do is eat at Le Moutardier du Pape, if only to enjoy its magnificent terrace. The food is good, simple but very well-executed, and the staff is both professional and attentive. If you eat there, try their fries; they're simply incredible. In Avignon, where the heat can be quite intense, this place is highly recommended. What's more, the beer is excellent, and good beer goes hand in hand with good food.

29/10/2025: Fantastic dinner! Everything was delicious! The staff were lovely and efficient! Excellent value for money, very pleasant dining room, and an unbeatable location. Don't pay attention to the less positive reviews; this is definitely a place to recommend!

03/01/2026: We had cassolet aux canard and the house wine. It was served with a baked yeast dough. Everything was fantastic. For dessert, there were sweet pastries. Also divine.

04/07/2025: I stopped by for a drink and the superb plate of aioli was irresistible. The fish was cooked perfectly and the aioli was perfect, we devoured it all. Only fresh produce. Fast and efficient, the servers were superb, the plate was responsive, and the atmosphere was great. And the evening entertainment was great. Will be back soon, thank you.

29/08/2024: Long… long… and very very long!! For a dish for a table of four people, around 50 minutes of waiting. A salad, a dish of the day and 2 pizzas… Pizza oven that was not working well that day. Something that can happen... but no communication with the customer who waits, waits, and waits again... Tapas offered after an hour, but we would have preferred to be served normally, or to change our dishes if necessary! Result, pizza with soggy dough because it was not cooked, very stuffy. A four cheese with 3 unfortunate pieces of goat cheese and gruyere to knock the socks off. Really very disappointing, yet in a friendly setting in Avignon, and our server who did what he could... No action on the bill because they “can’t”! A real joke!! I absolutely do not recommend it for lunch except for a drink, because the doses are correct.

23/07/2025: What a shame! Right in the middle of the festival, abuse is everywhere. A salad of so-called warm goat cheese for the hefty sum of €15. Even my camera wouldn't capture the moment to document it. A salad that wasn't fresh, two mini rounds of industrial bread on which two poor little rounds of goat cheese were kindly placed.

28/09/2024: Well, it's like all motorway rest areas, there's a little bit of everything but everything is very expensive.

25/09/2024: We stopped at the autogrill restaurant very disappointed, requested rare, ultra-cooked flank steak, minced steak the same, raw fries and cold ratatouille. We had to re-microwave our food...not to mention the staff putting chairs up on tables, sweeping up and putting up a barrier to close off the area you are in while you eat!! As for the air in general, nothing to say, very clean toilet! In summary, we do not recommend the autogrill restaurant, it is better to have a sandwich…

25/10/2025: Very long service, dish not good (cuttlefish with parsley), tasteless, soft texture, side fries very soft too, in short, not a treat, first time and last

23/10/2025: Great restaurant for lunch. We were in a hurry and the service was very efficient, so much so that we even had time to eat dessert. Homemade dishes with good products, the mushroom pasta and the chocolate mousse were delicious.

23/01/2026: The restaurant offers toy cars (for which you put tokens) as a makeshift play area, so it's useless! Neither Flunch restaurant in Avignon has a children's play area!
