28/09/2024: Well, it's like all motorway rest areas, there's a little bit of everything but everything is very expensive.

25/09/2024: We stopped at the autogrill restaurant very disappointed, requested rare, ultra-cooked flank steak, minced steak the same, raw fries and cold ratatouille. We had to re-microwave our food...not to mention the staff putting chairs up on tables, sweeping up and putting up a barrier to close off the area you are in while you eat!! As for the air in general, nothing to say, very clean toilet! In summary, we do not recommend the autogrill restaurant, it is better to have a sandwich…

01/10/2024: Estupendo restaurante de comida tradicional. Muy buenos platos de gran calidad. La atención de la camarera italiana fue estupenda y muy amable. Recomendable

28/08/2024: Seated promptly, waiter provided a menu in French and English. Water provided for the table. Drinks order taken and within 5 minutes they were with us. There was also a chief’s recommendation on a black board. Orders taken, 2 x Lamb, 1 x Butchers Cut and 1 x Duck. Meals came out with 15 minutes. Followed by warm rolls that were a nice touch. Food ok, mash potato and ratatouille was warm at best. Butchers cut and fries good. Gents toilets unrinal was taped off and other toilet had a large hole where the flusher was.

31/08/2024: Tre déçue : Personnel très sympa, mais j’ai été hallucinée du poisson du jour annoncé qui s’est avéré être un filet de daurade picard !! ( je les connais particulièrement bien car j’en consomme plusieurs fois par semaine, ils sont calibrés d’une manière facilement identifiable) .. honteux

19/08/2024: Un endroit où il faut absolument mangé à Avignon. Super moment avec des serveurs et serveuses au TOP, très attentionnée envers leurs clients, et le patron également. Une cuisine très soignée et succulentes. MERCI à tous et un petit clin d’œil à TOTO. ps: notre chien VASCO vous remercie également de l’attention que vous lui avez porté.

09/03/2026: It's a lovely hotel with so much history. The location was great and we could walk to everything in the walled city, as well as the local train station and bus stops. The TGV station was a short cab ride away, so it's very central. The breakfast was delicious each morning! We also enjoyed the courtyard, afternoon tea and a drink in the bar area in the evenings. All of the staff were very helpful, especially Anthony at the front desk. We're very happy we stayed at La Mirande while in Avignon!

16/01/2026: The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—very vintage and artistic, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance throughout the room. We booked a stay with breakfast included; the breakfast room is stunning, and the selection is generous and delicious. All the staff were extremely polite and warm, always ready to help whenever I had any questions. The location is also perfect, directly opposite the Papal Palace.

22/09/2025: I don't recommend it at all. The service is terrible! The waiters are incredibly friendly, and the so-called homemade fries are frozen!

07/10/2024: I really like the atmosphere, the waiters and waitresses are friendly, go there and close your eyes to eat, drink and ice cream, etc. and they make very good coffee

04/01/2026: We spent one night at the hotel and had a reservation. The hotel room was far from five-star quality, and the heating didn't work properly. The toilet was leaking… the restaurant we had booked for 8 pm was full. We had to ask twice before someone acknowledged our reservation and prepared a table. Disappointing, except for the carpooling service.

29/08/2024: déjeuner du lundi 26.08.24. Plat du jour aguicheur à 15,90€ : suprême poulet, frites, salade=poulet très sec, frites sèches, à se demander si ce n'était pas des restes de la veille, plus ou moins bien réchauffés. Autre plat : onglet (21,90€) : même déception : viande dure. Crêpes nutella, banane (6,50€): pâte sèche, peu de chocolat et 3 rondelles de banane (oui, oui=3) + supplément 1 boule glace vanille (2€)... tout ça pour dire que je ne recommande pas ce restaurant sur la place de l'Horloge à Avignon. C'est une arnaque + ou - déguisée. Annoncé "restaurant italien", c'est à se demander s'il ne vaut pas mieux se cantonner aux pizze....et encore ! ce jour 29.08.24

28/08/2024: Restaurant très agréable en terrasse avec un super service ! Un grand merci à Meven pour son sourire breton et sa rapidité ! Ça change des serveurs lyonnais ;) Restaurant Correct, c’est pas fou, mais ça fait le taff.

18/08/2024: But run away. It's rare that I give an opinion on the internet but here... I have to. What can I say, a terrace and a table flooded by misters. A waiter (thin and elderly) extremely unpleasant towards customers but also young colleagues who are subjected to the martial orders of this person. Derogatory or even discriminatory remarks towards us during each stage of the service. High prices for a kitchen that doesn't look fresh at all... Rarely eaten in such an off-putting restaurant. To flee.

16/08/2024: Good food and very friendly staff. The place and menus need to be renovated a bit but overall we ate well

28/03/2024: Worst swimming pool in Avignon, they often change bosses, none of them know how to buy deckchairs and clean the dirty swimming pool. Came last summer I do not recommend at all
