03/08/2024: A very well-kept hotel with history. The staff is very polite and accommodating, our room was at a perfect temperature despite the outside temperature of 37 degrees thanks to the air conditioning running. The furnishings are old but very stylish and high quality. All in all a beautiful place in Avignon. We will be back.

Un brunch digne d'un bon routier des années 80 avec le prix d'un restaurant gastronomique , triste pour un endroit qui pourrait être si agréable.
08/09/2024: Salle froide et très ordinaire. On attend à mieux d'un restaurant d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Personnel incompétent il a fallu réclamer un apéritif, puis à deux reprises des boissons lorsque nos plats ont été servis. La cuisine est très ordinaire. Le fish and chips est du surgelé...idem pour les desserts le tiramissu à la figue est composé d'une vulgaire confiture de figues bas de gamme et d'une mousse industrielle.

For a dish for a table of four people, around 50 minutes of waiting. A salad, a dish of the day and 2 pizzas…
Pizza oven that was not working well that day. Something that can happen... but no communication with the customer who waits, waits, and waits again...
Tapas offered after an hour, but we would have preferred to be served normally, or to change our dishes if necessary!
Result, pizza with soggy dough because it was not cooked, very stuffy. A four cheese with 3 unfortunate pieces of goat cheese and gruyere to knock the socks off.
Really very disappointing, yet in a friendly setting in Avignon, and our server who did what he could...
No action on the bill because they “can’t”! A real joke!!
I absolutely do not recommend it for lunch except for a drink, because the doses are correct.

24/09/2024: The worst pizza I have ever eaten. Like it was bought from a supermarket freezer and reheated in the microwave. Lukewarm, not hot, in the middle, almost cold on the outside. 🤮

23/09/2024: Terrible service, terrible pizza. I haven't eaten worse. The cheese is bitter, the sauce tastes like ketchup, and the ham is stale.

It's rare that I give an opinion on the internet but here... I have to.
What can I say, a terrace and a table flooded by misters. A waiter (thin and elderly) extremely unpleasant towards customers but also young colleagues who are subjected to the martial orders of this person.
Derogatory or even discriminatory remarks towards us during each stage of the service.
High prices for a kitchen that doesn't look fresh at all...
Rarely eaten in such an off-putting restaurant. To flee.

14/09/2024: Un restaurant dont la nourriture est très médiocre avec des aliments bon marchait, des prix très élevé adapté aux portefeuille et au Palet du touriste lambda, seul la place sauve le tout, personnel peu compétent, mal traité, et très désagréable. Mon conseil ultime si vous décidez malgré tout y aller vérifier toujours la date de vos sauce 😁
12/09/2024: tres bon rapport qualité prix. nous y avons mangé le plat du jour le midi, y sommes retournés 2 fois dans l'après-midi pour boire un coup et diner le soir.
service rapide et adapté. tout le personnel est à l'ecoute. les wc sont propres. les plats sont bons.

02/09/2024: Normal reception at first by a waitress then change of service with a detestable waiter who kept looking at us askance because we had put our water bottles on the table, it was 36° at least 🥵 we asked for a carafe, never came... not even greeted at the entrance to the establishment to go to the toilet. No recommendation!!
17/08/2024: Long wait....we order Perrier and lemonade, and we ask for a carafe of cold water because it's 36°C: 0"....this is only possible if we order syrup or food.. ."

01/10/2024: Estupendo restaurante de comida tradicional. Muy buenos platos de gran calidad. La atención de la camarera italiana fue estupenda y muy amable.

28/08/2024: Seated promptly, waiter provided a menu in French and English.
Water provided for the table. Drinks order taken and within 5 minutes they were with us.
There was also a chief’s recommendation on a black board.
Orders taken, 2 x Lamb, 1 x Butchers Cut and 1 x Duck.
Meals came out with 15 minutes. Followed by warm rolls that were a nice touch.
Food ok, mash potato and ratatouille was warm at best. Butchers cut and fries good.
Gents toilets unrinal was taped off and other toilet had a large hole where the flusher was.

31/08/2024: Tre déçue : Personnel très sympa, mais j’ai été hallucinée du poisson du jour annoncé qui s’est avéré être un filet de daurade picard !! ( je les connais particulièrement bien car j’en consomme plusieurs fois par semaine, ils sont calibrés d’une manière facilement identifiable) .. honteux
19/08/2024: Un endroit où il faut absolument mangé à Avignon. Super moment avec des serveurs et serveuses au TOP, très attentionnée envers leurs clients, et le patron également. Une cuisine très soignée et succulentes. MERCI à tous et un petit clin d’œil à TOTO. ps: notre chien VASCO vous remercie également de l’attention que vous lui avez porté.

Big downside for the nauseating smell in the toilets... After eating, it's enough to vomit...
