28/03/2026: The owner insults customers; they are disrespectful and rude. Above all, do not go there if you want to eat.

16/03/2026: We had a lovely meal here last night. Many other places nearby were closed but we took a chance on here and were not disappointed. Portions were large, food tasty and freshly prepared. The waiter was very nice and attentive and we really enjoyed the experience. We noticed an outside eating area with a play area so we will return when our grandson visits in the summer as this eating set up will be ideal.

26/09/2025: A place full of happiness. Even when the days are a bit gloomy (weather and car breakdown 😊), the Jardin des Lys casts a golden light over everything. We felt very welcome and received great support. A wonderful place. We had a great rest in a beautiful, clean room, and in the morning we were greeted with a delicious breakfast with homemade yogurt and jam made from the garden fruits. Thank you for everything 🫶🏼

19/04/2026: We were pleasantly surprised by Fred's warm welcome. The three of us, including a puppy, were seated in a quiet corner inside a beautifully decorated dining room. Running the establishment single-handedly, Fred seamlessly managed everything from our arrival and service to the cooking and preparation of our dishes. We experienced no waiting whatsoever. We thoroughly enjoyed his simple yet delicious cuisine: a hearty mountain burger, a delightful veggie tartine bursting with Provençal flavors, and an excellent andouillette sausage. Each dish was served with crispy fries. For dessert, we finished with a floating island and a muffin, chosen from a wide selection. We wish Fred continued success and will definitely return to his restaurant.

01/05/2026: The menu for May 1st, 2026 is very expensive for eating canned and frozen food, the dessert is pathetic and the fruit salad is inedible (tastes like household products).

20/04/2026: Passing through Poitiers for the day, we stumbled upon this place by chance. It was a very pleasant surprise; we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our daughter, who usually eats very little, finished her plate and even had dessert. The place is also lovely for relaxing. The welcome was very warm. If we ever find ourselves back in Poitiers, we will definitely return with pleasure 🙂

11/04/2026: A rather disappointing experience for a restaurant located in a 4-star hotel. The dining room clearly lacks refinement: an unwelcoming atmosphere, bare tables with only placemats and paper napkins… it falls far short of what one would expect at this level. The windows, visibly uncleaned for some time, only exacerbate the situation and contribute to an overall impression of neglect. As for the service, it is quick and efficient. The servers do their job adequately, but the welcome lacks smiles and friendliness. The general atmosphere gives the impression of a disaffected team, which is reflected in the customer experience. The food is decent, but frankly unremarkable. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. The menu is quite limited, which is surprising for an establishment of this caliber. The prices, however, are in line with a 4-star hotel… unlike the overall experience. It's a shame, because we expected much better.

14/03/2026: We were tempted this Friday by the "lobster" menu currently offered by the Chef at Savignois, and frankly, it was a delight! The dishes were beautifully presented, the flavor combinations were surprising at first glance but blended together perfectly 😋 We left feeling satisfied and very happy to have tasted these dishes and discovered these flavors. Thank you to the Chef, for whom sharing his passion means creating dishes for sharing and customer satisfaction. The service was excellent, and the couple who run the place are incredibly welcoming. The Chef came out of the kitchen towards the end of service and shared a "digestive" secret with us! 🤫 I gave it 4 out of 5 for the atmosphere because I found the dining room a bit dreary; it lacked a bit of energy compared to the bar area. We will definitely be back for the quality of the food!! And in the summer, because the terrace will be much nicer 😉
