16/03/2026: Above all, it was way too noisy...and the daily menu didn't convince us...it was a weekday, Friday lunchtime.

24/04/2026: A warm welcome and the restaurant is always tastefully decorated. My dish was underseasoned, and the coconut mousse dessert lacked coconut flavor and fruit. Portions were a bit small for the price, but the ingredients were good.

24/03/2026: Stopped for a white wine (or 2) and a coffee after a dental appointment, a lovely setting with seating both inside and out. Service and pricing both excellent... we will come again and will eat next time as the restaurant looks very inviting.

08/04/2026: A surprising restaurant from start to finish, everything is excellent. A €16 set menu offers refined cuisine. We will return to enjoy the terrace with its magnificent view of the Vienne River. See you soon!

28/03/2026: A lovely little restaurant in a great location by the water, with a very friendly welcome. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The dessert was excellent, homemade, and perfect. They also gave our son a little something extra. I highly recommend it.

However, I especially want to thank Merouane who immediately offered to remake the pizza for me free of charge after I called! 04/04/2026: Fantastic experience at Chalet à Fame! Honestly, the burgers are incredibly good, generously topped, and full of flavor. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. And on top of that, the owner is absolutely lovely, very welcoming, and always smiling—it's such a pleasure! I recommend it 100%, I'll definitely be back! 👍

23/08/2025: A wonderful surprise! We celebrated our two daughters' baptisms in June, and everything went perfectly. Excellent value for money, a delicious meal, and a fantastic team! We highly recommend it.

24/04/2026: Our stay was a Wonderbox gift, and we spent one night at the Château de Périgny. The room was magnificent and very clean, with furniture perfectly in keeping with the château theme; we really appreciated the decor. The staff was very welcoming, attentive, and professional. The receptionist kindly lent me a toothbrush I had forgotten. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. A big plus: The swimming pool looked very inviting, although we didn't have time to use it. The hotel is dog-friendly. Three cats also live there permanently and will be delighted to greet you with purrs. A drawback: We had twin beds pushed together, which wasn't very practical. Breakfast was very good, but a bit pricey for what it was.

19/04/2026: Overall, a good experience with the dinner and overnight package. The restaurant is very good. The rooms in the castle are adequate, but the interiors feel dated and poorly maintained. It also lacks quite a few small amenities that are standard in other hotels.

09/04/2026: The food and ambiance are both excellent. Usually, kids' meals are just made haphazardly, but this restaurant is different; they put care into the preparation. My daughter has already eaten two; the beef and fries are delicious! The foie gras is superb, and the fish is also very tasty! Highly recommended!

18/04/2026: While out in Poitiers, we stopped at this restaurant on the recommendation of our children. It's an unusual place with a vintage-industrial style decor. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced, and the staff is very attentive. We were very satisfied and will gladly return.

18/04/2026: We ate at La Serrurerie, and it was excellent, both the starters and the main courses. The waiter, Noah, was very friendly, smiling, and kind; it makes you want to come back for another delicious meal.

Thanks to their good reputation, the restaurant was packed throughout our meal. Hurry and book a table—it's a truly great place to eat!

29/09/2025: Ideally located for exploring Châtellerault, La Gourmandine Hotel is a haven of peace. It's a beautiful place to stay, peaceful and in a unique setting. A special mention goes to the breakfast. A small drawback: a kettle in the room would be welcome, either for early morning breakfasts or evening herbal teas.

20/06/2025: Boulets de poulet? Chicken meatballs? Really ? What happened to French gastronomy? The sauce was good, But the meatballs had no herbs, no spice..blech. I should have gotten the fish. Tiramisu needs coffee liqueur or marsala or .... Glace vanille? Peut être s'il est fait maison, mais je m'en doute. Price reasonable €14
