22/05/2026: Everything was perfect. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Dinner was very good, as was the wine. There is ample parking. I highly recommend this hotel.

26/04/2026: A truly lovely and warm welcome! We were just passing through for one night. The room is simple but comfortable and overlooks a pretty garden. The breakfast is very good and reasonably priced! And the mango jam is delicious!!!! Thank you again for everything.

20/06/2026: What a great find! We went two weeks ago before our holiday and again today on our return. Don't be surprised by the generous portions... We haven't tried everything, but the pizzas and salads are already excellent and very filling. The owners are super friendly. You need to make a reservation by leaving a message on the voicemail... They'll call you back a little while later to confirm. A great find! 👍

05/07/2026: Discovered by chance, what a wonderful surprise! Magnificent views over the little Gartempe river, which is so peaceful in summer. The staff were lovely, and what can I say about the sirloin steak? The best I've ever had, Limousin beef. I highly recommend spending some time at this establishment. 31/08/2026: Friendly people in themselves, but I think the cook just wasn't in the mood. The food was cold, the chicken breast dried out (probably fried and reheated much earlier), far too little sauce (because it was so dry), and the mashed potatoes were just cold, not even lukewarm. The fries were nicely browned but also chewy and limp. A shame, I wish them well.

30/08/2026: I loved this place; it was so warm and welcoming! And also so quiet! (No clattering of forks, no kitchen noise) It was truly delightful! The staff were also very friendly; we came for an appetizer platter, they weren't serving them anymore, but they still managed to make us something lovely. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back!

31/07/2026: I'm from Spain and came with my family to visit Portier. We stumbled upon this place, which had great reviews, and deserved them. The quiches were delicious, as were the desserts. Good quality, tasty, traditional, and homemade food, and above all, excellent service. Highly recommended for families. Thanks and goodbye.

29/07/2026: I've known this place since 2008. The chef-owner has an impressive background in training and experience, which I recently reviewed. It's become my go-to spot and/or where I hold my meetings. There was one location, and a second one three years ago. It's well-situated in the heart of the city. The place is simple, welcoming, and air-conditioned, with a small terrace for sunny days. Yann, the chef, is welcoming. He's both friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious. Fresh, varied, and flavorful products—even a vegetarian option! Every day, there's fish, meat, poultry, and a variety of vegetables...depending on the season, soups, gazpacho, original savory tarts, and amazing desserts...fruit salads, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, homemade tarts, etc. Coffee and iced tea are available when it's hot. An excellent, healthy, tasty, and varied spot for adults and children alike. As a long-time customer, I would gladly tell you, "Try it and come back." P.S. I am not related to Mr. Ribler.
