04/04/2026: Fantastic experience at Chalet à Fame! Honestly, the burgers are incredibly good, generously topped, and full of flavor. You can tell the ingredients are high quality.
And on top of that, the owner is absolutely lovely, very welcoming, and always smiling—it's such a pleasure!
I recommend it 100%, I'll definitely be back! 👍

15/08/2026: My husband was really keen to eat at this restaurant, so we went in August 2026. The welcome was fantastic, the staff lovely, and the food delicious.
I highly recommend it.
06/08/2026: Excellent daily menu for a reasonable price. French-language menu, but with a patient waiter. Dishes arrived simultaneously and were well prepared. House wines were also fine. Had a delicious meal. Located next to the entrance of a parking garage, so the terrace is a bit noisy.

23/06/2026: Had friends to stay and took them to Chez Fred. We were warmly welcomed. The burgers (my friend and I has the BBQ burger) were so good, we went back 2 days later and had the same again! An absolute gem that should be packed out every day it is open. Desserts are also mega.
21/06/2026: We stopped by Fred's place while passing through and frankly, we weren't disappointed. The mountain burger and fries were very good. I recommend it!

03/05/2026: A lovely little restaurant. Reservations are required in advance, and they accept dogs on the terrace. As the weather was improving, we were kindly offered a table inside, alone in a small room. A very thoughtful gesture indeed. The service was a bit slow for the main courses. I recommend the Chauvinois burger and the half duck breast. However, the beef dish was rather bland; tasty but lacking in sauce.
14/04/2026: Lunch on the way back from vacation, so unplanned... no problem finding something to eat. Excellent restaurant. Welcoming. Offers set menus at lunchtime on weekdays.

04/08/2026: Passing through Poitiers on our way to our holiday destination, we were looking for a sandwich. We weren't disappointed by our stop at this bakery, chosen at random. The bread was excellent, as was the filling. It was a far cry from a sandwich overflowing with mayonnaise. We rediscovered the simple pleasure of a real butter sandwich with excellent bread.
Thank you for this little treat that brightened our journey.

The dishes are generous, beautifully presented, and delicious, with quick service and a welcoming staff. You feel right at home, and the atmosphere is always lively without being noisy. An excellent place to share a good time with friends, family, or your partner. I highly recommend it!
19/07/2026: The food is fine, French menu. They have a few terraces where you can eat and drink.
Asking inside for a table outside helps a lot; the people are very friendly.
Unfortunately, the main course took a very long time; sometimes they forget about you for a moment.
