31/03/2024: Very unpleasant waitress, both with her customers and her colleagues.
Not at all accommodating, impossible to serve a tray of fries for a child of two even though they are on the menu.
Huge shredded donut not cooked inside.
Nothing to do with the previous comments, has there been a change of ownership?
I strongly advise against this hostel.
18/03/2024: We had a pleasant time in this restaurant.
Super friendly waiter, attentive service and super good meal!
If we pass through the area we will definitely come back!

03/04/2024: Everything was top notch, the welcome, the decor, the dishes (a black Swan, a Vosges salad and lemon tiramisu), we had a great time!
01/04/2024: Everything was very good.
I have a small caveat on the cooking of the meat. Cooking is not requested when ordering and the steaks are a little overcooked. Too bad because the meat seemed to me to be of good quality.
For the rest it's very good.
Good toppings, good bread and good beer.

25/03/2024: Great welcome in general during a meal with friends this Saturday. We have eaten well. but the real plus was being served by Émile... and his good humor. We had a great time.

30/03/2024: We were received as if we were missing out...plus the food offered was really not up to par.
The exterior on the lake side is just superb, however when you arrive you are in a courtyard with cars destined for scrapping and a French booldog guy who attacks you...
So, we won't come back to it.
22/03/2024: On a beautiful sunny day, having a snack by the lake is a real pleasure! The crepes were delicious and the service was quick.

01/04/2024: We had a really lovely time. The hotel is magnificent, decorated with great taste in a charming, mountain style and very warm. The cuisine is divine, small dishes carefully concocted with delicacy. The breakfast is varied and the products offered in the buffet are really of very good quality. The staff is very friendly and pleasant whether in the restaurant, at the reception or at the spa. The spa is really the strong point of this magnificent place (personal opinion) it was a real moment of relaxation and pleasure. I thank all the staff for everything. We will come back as soon as possible.
30/03/2024: Magnificent find halfway between La Bresse and Gérardmer.
Everything was absolutely fabulous: the friendliness of the staff, the rooms, the spa, the breakfast and the hotel in general!!
And all this in a very calm setting (the hotel has barely 33 rooms).
Absolutely no negative points to note for this establishment which is a real gem.
We will come back, for sure 👍

We ate very, very well (special mention for the Vosges fondue), the desserts were also exquisite, in a warm setting, the decor is very nice, top service, smiling waiters and excellent dishes. We found a very attentive team, it is certain that when we come back to Gerardmer we will come back to see you :)
28/03/2024: Very well decorated and very pleasant restaurant, with a large terrace on the street. We had the lunch menu: perfect in terms of quantity and quality. That day, it was raw vegetable salad/chicken in cream and mustard with fries and green beans/chocolate mousse or apple pie.
Very friendly waitress.

01/05/2024: Came last year (summer 2023), everything was perfect. But since then there has been either a change of owner or a change of management... and today, May 1, 2024, a disaster from A to Z... sympathy from the server in terms of the dishes sold, that is to say zero!!! Cold fillet of beef, children's fish stuffed with bones, impossible to get fries for my mother-in-law (not enough staff for that) according to the waiter...
Titanic prices compared to the quality of what they bring us: 11 or 12 euros per slice of blueberry pie!!! If I'm not mistaken it makes a pie for 72 euros if it is cut into 6 so it has nice slices!!
In short, we who loved this place so much will not go back there again!!! A nice waste...

23/03/2024: A warm welcome in an original place in the high mountains: an old sawmill with the equipment still in place. Below a stream, around, the mountain and fields currently with daffodils.
A family atmosphere. A nice menu with “homemade” products. A special mention for the salted butter caramel coulis which decorates certain pancakes and which can be found to take away.
A good price-performance ratio.
To discover ! Possibility of stopping to eat a pancake or a slice of pie during a walk. We passed too briefly. We will come back !

29/04/2024: A pleasant time spent with family around a beautiful table. Fine cuisine with good refined dishes with good sauces. Between land and sea the agreements are well balanced. The cheese cart is just wonderful, not to mention the dessert cart. Very nice wine list and very neat setting. I recommend for the value for money of the menu €70 for a Michelin-starred restaurant ⭐️. Well done and thank you

So like me, Éloïse and Brigitte you will be pleasantly won over, a small restaurant room (20/25 people), a friendly setting, a very professional and smiling server, not shy of advice who explains to us here what we receive on our plates what we are going to taste is "the surprise menu" with products according to the moment, homemade and fresh products, the chef indulges himself and this is felt even in your taste buds, in this restaurant we take the time ⌛️ to discover, watch and savor the dishes offered and served! But be careful ⚠️ I advise you to anticipate and reserve your table to travel to the culinary sweetness of "my father's thatch"....bon appetit! ...
