This is a truly wonderful restaurant that we highly recommend. The dinner menu is designed to guide you through a series of carefully chosen dishes, each one a delight without ever clashing with or overshadowing the previous course. The entire team is attentive and pleasant—as well as extremely competent. Bravo!

27/02/2026: I ordered a lemon chicken tagine on Uber Eats under the name Walida, with bread added for an extra charge. What I received was a sort of chicken boiled in water with a runny sauce and some raw carrots… It was the worst tagine I've ever eaten because it wasn't really a tagine at all… just steamed chicken with carrots and two pieces of bread… a far cry from the hearty and flavorful dish I was expecting! It was more like hospital food for a patient on a diet. Very disappointing! I definitely do not recommend it!

04/02/2026: As usual, a real treat. For once, I hesitated over the side dish, the homemade pasta, as the portion was very generous.
You remain one of the best restaurants in Auxerre. I discovered even more new flavors. And the friendly service, which is always top-notch, makes you feel right at home.

28/11/2025: Overpriced, which I think has gone to their heads. €14 for a kebab with four fries floating around, €20 for a kebab platter (the menu doesn't include fries or a drink, as you'll find out at the end). Minimum order €16.
More expensive than a fancy kebab shop in Paris.
I sincerely think the prices could be halved considering the quality.

04/03/2026: To celebrate our retirement, we were treated to dinner at this restaurant we hadn't been to before. The place is warm and very intimate. Every painting, every knick-knack has its own story. We felt right at home. We had a truly delightful evening thanks to Olivier's incredibly friendly welcome and Pierre's exquisite and delicious cuisine. We left with our taste buds delighted and our heads full of wonderful memories.

The head waiter is doing his best to supervise the shy new recruits... there's work to be done, but plenty of goodwill.
The dishes are nicely presented. Nothing extraordinary, but with a two-course menu for €18, the value for money is there.
It's not a restaurant I would go to for dinner as a couple. But for lunch, it's very good. As for the dish, I had already eaten it before taking the photo.

15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal.
The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish.
Note that the drinks are quite expensive.
Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.
