The mussels are grilled in a wood-fired oven!
The gratinated oysters are divine!
The atmosphere right on the Etang is fantastic – especially in the evenings!
Excellent value for money!
It's best to reserve in advance – the restaurant is always very busy.

09/12/2025: You order at the counter, and a few minutes later everything arrives at your table: oysters and mussels, shrimp and tielles (a local seafood pie). All washed down with a lovely, chilled white wine. Enjoy it on the terrace overlooking the oyster beds. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

09/07/2025: An enchanting interlude at St. Bath today.
Friendly welcome, excellent meal, and a boat tour that's a must. Gilles, our "boat captain," passionately explains his work as an oyster farmer. A truly interesting experience.
A real treat!
08/07/2025: The sunset over the pond is fantastic, as are the house oysters! :)
The young waiters are very friendly.
One small drawback is the size of the tables for four, which are sometimes a bit narrow for seating, the trays, the bottles, etc.
We love it and come back regularly.

16/12/2024: Big disappointment! Barely the aperitif, the starter already served and we continue without leaving time and yet we make the comment!
Mussels without fries, roast potatoes! The service was not great, we felt like we were bothering us, we had taken the menu and only the fish soup brought us satisfaction! Dessert of the day, rice pudding not great, long rice not cooked. Dish of the day not great either. Really a disappointment

09/12/2025: We stopped at this restaurant by chance, and the owner was incredibly kind, even though it was almost closing time. He explained the entire menu to us even though he didn't speak any Italian. We had a great time, and I'd recommend it. The seafood was fresh and the prices were average for the area.

Very nice terrace, friendly staff and good quality cuisine with good value for money

The reception is very average, you are placed in a corner and you are asked to push yourself to one side, a cost to the other to allow passage, we are on top of each other and not at all comfortable. and if we have the misfortune to make a remark we get set on fire. You are being pushed towards consumption. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Nothing is fresh except frozen products and very expensive for what we ate and drank. I will not return there and do not recommend this establishment
