The atmosphere right on the Etang is fantastic – especially in the evenings! Excellent value for money! It's best to reserve in advance – the restaurant is always very busy.

18/03/2026: Let's remain objective and simply share our experience, which I hope will never happen again. First, we ordered mussels and oysters. There were already 16 oysters in the bag, and you need a multiple of 6, which is annoying. Okay, moving on. Two days later, we're both sick: fever, body aches, diarrhea. The presumption of innocence exists, but could it have just been a cold? I don't think so.

28/12/2025: A truly lovely restaurant: small, welcoming, beautifully decorated, and run with love and passion. We ate a generous seafood platter, excellent and at a very fair price. The service was very attentive and pleasant. It was a truly lovely evening, a must-visit if you're in the area. The restaurant is in the city center, but on a very quiet street outside the historic center, making it convenient even if you're driving.

23/02/2026: On Sunday at lunchtime, I went to Château du Port, a restaurant I consider to be a fine dining establishment. The foie gras was exceptional, absolutely divine. The gratinated oysters served as a second course were simply excellent: I've never eaten such delicious ones. As for the beef, it was so tender and flavorful you could cut it with a butter knife, and its accompaniment was equally delicious. The cheese was also very good; you can tell it comes directly from top-quality producers. The price is quite reasonable considering the quality and variety of the menu. I've had the opportunity to dine at Paul Bocuse several times, and this restaurant allowed me to rediscover the taste of some of the dishes I've enjoyed there. The service is impeccable: very little waiting despite the dishes being prepared fresh to order. Both the waitress and the waiter provide professional and attentive service. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

22/02/2026: We ate well; the ingredients and dishes were good. It's not exactly fine dining, and at €45 for the set menu, it's a bit pricey (the cheeses were very mediocre, the desserts average, and the warm oysters with spinach were very bland). The service was the slowest we've ever experienced. We arrived at noon, our starters were cleared at 2 pm, and our main course wasn't served until 2:30 pm... "He's alone in the kitchen; they can't find anyone to work anymore (perhaps they should offer attractive salaries)..." Our comment about the long wait was completely ignored (eat, pay, and shut up!), and we were then rushed out. An apology would have sufficed.

Go there, you'll be delighted. I just learned that this restaurant is closing permanently! A HUGE LOSS for the town of Agde, really. It would have been better if it had been the other one next door...

22/10/2025: A truly great restaurant! Seven of us dined there, and everyone was satisfied. The welcome was friendly and the service very attentive. The menus were also available with German translations, which made ordering easier. The dishes were very creative, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The "Little Delight" menu is particularly recommended. The gratinated mussels, the red mullet, and the special lemon tart were absolutely delicious! Paying by card was no problem. The ambiance on the small boat is truly lovely. We'd love to come back!

22/02/2026: I recently had a lovely evening at this restaurant with my friend. The food was decent, but what makes the place so charming are the waiters and waitresses, who were incredibly warm and welcoming despite their long shifts and perhaps a bit tired, but always attentive to their customers. We were greeted with a big smile, a small bowl for our dog, and a perfectly chosen table. Dinner went smoothly, and the oysters were delicious. I recommend this restaurant during the off-season.

21/02/2026: The staff were friendly, but one waiter was completely clueless; he brought the wrong plate and then took it away to give you the right one. The mussels weren't cleaned, and there were more empty shells than full ones. The sauce wasn't great and barely tasted of Roquefort cheese.
