We had a great time, congratulations to the chef for this wonderful meal, and thanks to the waitress for her welcome and kindness. I recommend this unique place.

We never felt rushed; we enjoyed a truly special moment. The restaurant offers tapas, meat dishes, burgers, and seafood. The tapas portions are very generous and truly tempting. We opted for the meat, which was simply excellent. It's a family-run business with a very warm and welcoming owner, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend it! Thank you for this lovely, convivial experience! We will gladly return.

26/02/2026: Avoid at all costs. A complete disappointment for a €39 set menu. The starter was bland, the duck breast overcooked with the most basic side dish possible. The service was unpleasant: they practically threw the dishes at you, and the coffee was placed 50 cm from your seat. This place is no longer what it used to be, and that's a shame.

22/01/2026: We occasionally visit this restaurant in Le Pouliguen, as we've had a second home here for 37 years. The food is always excellent, but we were somewhat disappointed by the lobster we were served (€120 per portion). At that price, perfection should follow.

28/09/2025: A big thank you to Yvan! We had a wonderful time during a two-hour discovery workshop on the history of chocolate and its production. The owner is both passionate and fascinating, and his chocolate is simply incredible. Not only did we taste and make our own chocolate bar, but we also enjoyed learning about the history of chocolate and the secrets of its processing.

01/11/2025: A superb experience at this seafood restaurant. The fish is incredibly fresh, presented to you upon arrival so you can choose from the menu. The cooking is perfectly executed. The combinations are refined but not extravagant, unlike some other places. The monkfish cooked over a wood fire with chili and chorizo ​​was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The desserts are also delightful. Go without hesitation: everything is excellent and the welcome is extremely warm.

13/10/2025: I came in more out of necessity than choice. The welcome was warm and friendly, the dishes were good and generous, but how can you serve cold mussels? Was this dish forgotten? Was it thawed? I can't explain. It's labeled "home cooking." That makes me doubt it. €80 for two for lunch is expensive... Could do much better. After reading your reply, I'll add this. Making me look like an idiot isn't the point; you don't know who you're talking to. I'm in the business, and you sent cold mussels. I stand by what I said. I didn't let them cool.

15/02/2026: We came for Valentine's Day. The menu was delicious, the setting very pleasant, the service impeccable, and the waiters lovely. We'll definitely be back! A great place. 😍🙂

01/03/2026: We came as a group of two adults and a teenager on a Sunday at lunchtime. The service was average; the waitress was pleasant but lacked attentiveness (we had to ask for bread, request drinks when our main courses arrived, the wait was a bit long, and she didn't ask during the meal if we were alright). We shared an andouillette sausage, which was good, and the teenager had a Retz burger. The burger was truly awful: huge chunks of uncooked onion, and the tomato/basil sauce was completely incompatible with the Curé Nantais cheese. In short, it was bad and we left it on the plate. We reported it, but received no compensation, which is understandable since no one had mentioned it before! So, we must have bad taste... But the real joke came when it came time to pay the bill. It was difficult to split the bill in half, so I had to use two credit cards because of a calculation error. And we could do without the bartender's comments about "doing his best": sorry, but from a business perspective, the least he could have done was apologize for the poor quality and maybe even offer a discount on the bill! Anyway, living nearby, we won't be back! What a shame!

25/02/2026: A great lunch with friends, a competent team, an affordable set menu: starter, main course, dessert for under €20!!! When I see some people giving it one star and these same people giving Burger King 5 stars, homemade, quality food takes time; it's not fast food, it's a RESTAURANT!!!
