10/06/2026: Just one thing: in the world we live in, and especially in France with what is happening at the moment, putting the changing table in the MIXED WC and in view of everyone (not even in a separate toilet) needs to be reconsidered.

10/06/2026: Hello, We came to eat as a group of 3, and to my surprise, once we arrived at the table, there were 6 of us. Indeed, there were ants on the table.

07/06/2026: I had breakfast this morning on the terrace in this lovely square; it was delicious and plentiful, with very good products, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh seasonal fruit (apricots, raspberries and strawberries), an exceptional croissant and bread, and excellent local jam. I highly recommend it!

26/05/2026: An unwelcoming and unfriendly place with servers who don't know what they're selling and an arrogant owner with absolutely no business sense; I strongly advise against going there.

11/05/2026: January 2026: Despite the cashier's recurring rudeness (always the same one, see below), I'm adding a star for the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the beautiful setting. However, I still want to ask this charming young man at the register to improve, especially since the rest of the staff is very helpful. October 2024: For the second time this year, we received very poor service from the same cashier who completely ignored us while he was washing up, and then ignored us again while our card was being charged and waiting to be removed from the card reader. When asked, "Is there a minimum purchase amount for the card?" this charming gentleman replied, "Yes." After three seconds, I had to add, "What amount?" before finally receiving the answer: "€1." It's a shame because the food is impeccable and the waitstaff is very professional and courteous. February 2018: The food is still excellent. The only wok restaurant in Nîmes to offer salmon steak and sirloin steak (Dutch origin, no less!) even at lunchtime! The fried food isn't greasy, the desserts are varied, and now they even have candy (strawberries, bananas, etc.). The Kinémenu deal is really good value: €20.50 for the menu + a movie ticket, making it only €7 per ticket. The waitresses are very courteous and do their jobs well (greeting, service, cleaning). June 2017: A very wide selection, with elegant starters (grilled eggplant, sun-dried tomatoes, spring rolls, etc.). There's also a wide selection of main courses and sauces (sweet chili, hot chili, etc.). However, the wasabi sauce isn't great. A large selection of ice cream and desserts. The atmosphere is bright and very pleasant. The wok menu has a more limited selection, but they do have duck breast and salmon, even at lunchtime! Plus: a physiotherapy menu that includes a cinema ticket for under €8!!!

01/05/2026: My son and I went there after the cinema to get takeout. When I tried to ask for help, the person didn't listen and told me to wait at the counter. We left after 5 minutes because we were being ignored. I will never set foot in that establishment again.

02/04/2026: Neighborhood restaurant. Homemade food every day of the week. Thanks to Gilles (the chef) and Salomé (the waitress) for providing such a delicious and attentive meal. Lunch special (starter, main course, dessert) for under €17—who can beat that?

22/04/2026: Excellent welcome and service from the staff. Very professional. Quiet location, very well connected to the center of Nîmes by bus. Supermarket nearby and a good pizzeria right across the street. The facilities and breakfast were very good. A place to return to.

18/04/2026: Very difficult to find. Far from the station. There was no WIFI in the room and a lack of outlets in the common area. The bed was small, yet comfortable. There was a cubby hole by the bed to store things, and a huge locker. I appreciate the assistance in locating the bus stop (The bus never came. Had to take a train.) in trying to move on.

17/05/2026: Honestly, I don't understand why this restaurant has such low ratings... We received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent. The only thing I would have liked was the brandade, which is one of my favorite dishes, with a slightly less creamy sauce and more of a focus on the fish (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but otherwise we loved everything, with a special mention for the floating island. Finally, its central location in the bustling market square, the atmosphere, and the fact that it's quite addictive mean we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Nîmes.

04/06/2026: Very bad experience. I am very disappointed with this hotel. During my stay, there was no water, which is an unacceptable problem for a hotel. Furthermore, the staff were neither friendly nor helpful and offered no solution to the problem. The lack of professionalism and attention to customers made my stay very unpleasant. I do not recommend this hotel.

03/06/2026: !! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR SCHOOL TRIPS!! We had a terrible experience, I can't understand how this place is still open. Terrible staff, only willing to speak French and who won't even look you in the eye. The room for 4 people was tiny, with the beds almost touching. There were 3 outlets, one of which was half broken because it came out of the wall as soon as you unplugged it, and the others were inconvenient because you had to move the bed or the nightstand to use them. The plaster was peeling off the wall. The curtains were dirty, I don't want to know what. A friend of mine found the mirror BROKEN and the curtains stained brown as soon as he entered the room. But the worst part of this hotel is the service in general. They never changed our sheets, but there's worse: one day they left us without clean towels or new toilet paper, and the next day they didn't even make our bed. We found the room exactly as we'd left it before leaving. The staff is truly rude and unhelpful. I'll end with this anecdote: on the first day we sat down to dinner after a long flight and found a SPIDER on the tablecloth that crawled into a girl's glass. We also had to have about four forks replaced because they were all dirty, poorly washed, and rusty. All this right next to the kitchen; needless to say, I had a lot of questions about the sanitary conditions of that place. I won't even comment on the food; just read the other reviews.

29/11/2025: Terrible. Rude servers, some pleasant ones. 21-minute wait, still not served. They don't like people with accents. The place is racist.

27/11/2025: If you think you'll be greeted with a smile, don't go there, unless it's the first cold weather that has chapped the servers' lips, there are plenty of other nicer bars in Nîmes.

12/05/2026: From bad to worse: endless waits at the drive-thru or inside, very unmotivated employees... Extremely disappointing. Hygiene is extremely poor.

08/05/2026: First time at this McDonald's, the service was nonexistent: 20 minutes for 4 ice creams and 2 drinks (and we even asked).

06/06/2026: My partner and I ordered last night and since waking up we've had severe food poisoning. I have the impression the products aren't very fresh. I'll never eat there again.

08/06/2026: Good morning and good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I advise you against going to this McDonald's. It stays open very late, but it's not great. A quick message to the manager of the Nîmes McDonald's: First rule: rein in your employees. The lack of respect towards customers is unacceptable. Don't forget that the customer is king. Just over a meatless meal? No need to make a fuss. Second, your product quality is awful. The fries are so greasy I've never seen them in my life. The burger is dry and lacks flavor. The drinks are lukewarm; I feel like I'm drinking water. I still spent €15 on your terrible meal. If I get sick, don't worry, I'll let you know. A message for internet users: If you want to go to this McDonald's, avoid it as quickly as possible. Especially since it's not quick, and there's at least an hour's wait. And above all, the product quality is terrible. Thank you and goodbye forever.
