19/03/2026: For fine dining, there are plenty of other options. Here, you get authentic local fare, carefully prepared dishes, and a genuine desire to welcome you. And the atmosphere is such a refreshing change from your average bistro! If I lived in Brioude, this would be my go-to spot. And thank you, thank you for being open on Sundays with such generous hours. To see what it's like and what's on the menu, check out the other reviews. I had the perfect lentils with bacon. And long live jazz!
08/03/2026: We stopped by for a quick coffee break. The owner was very kind; even though he was about to close, he still made us an excellent coffee!

23/03/2026: We had a wonderful time as a group of four, and I'm so glad I changed my mind about this restaurant.
I have to give a special mention to the hakao, which were truly delicious, as were the shrimp dumplings, and the desserts like the banana and apple fritters.
However, I'm not a big fan of the caramel pork. The sauce was good, and the onions were too, but the quality of the meat was just average. In the evening, the service was smooth, and our young waitress, though new to the job, was very kind. Thank you for her warm welcome.
The €19.50 set menu is good.
We'll be back; for Brioude, that's already quite an achievement.
One small bonus: before, we couldn't pay by credit card, but now we can. No more need to withdraw cash before coming, finally!

Lovely people, and amazing pizzas 👌
Generous pizzas, and INCREDIBLE homemade dough... Baked in a wood-fired oven, in short, super good.
If we can just allow ourselves one thing, it would be: a little too much tomato sauce, but honestly, it doesn't take away from them at all, thanks again 🙏
P.S.: A pizza with duck breast is still a very, very good idea 👍

09/02/2026: I find it shameful, this restaurant owner, and Salah too. The armchairs—well, chairs—are rotten. It's shameful for restaurant owners. The walls are covered in mold, the paint is peeling off the floor, it's horrible. It doesn't make me want to eat at all.

25/08/2024: L'accueil est chalereux, avec le beau temps nous sommes installés sur la terrasse et c'est agréable. Le menu est bien; le foie gras est savoureux, le plat de viande accompagné de ses légumes nous régale, joli plateau de fromage avec le panier de noix et le fromage de chèvre mariné dans l'huile d'olive. Le dessert est bon même si personnellement j'apprécie peu les assiettes de mignardises, des fruits sont également servis. Le café est complèté par des petites gourmandises. Nous avons passé un agréable moment, rien à redire, c'était comme d'habitude très bien.
13/08/2024: Un endroit délicieux et calme que je recommande à tous mes amis ! Nous avons passé 2 nuits et pris 2 repas. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable, et ce n 'est pas une gentillesse "commerciale".
La chambre est spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bains (baignoire), on pourrait y ajouter un tabouret... WC séparés. Petite terrasse sur le beau parc. Climatisation efficace par ces temps de chaleur, seul petit bémol, la pompe de relevage bipait toutes les 10 secondes ... mon mari a mal dormi, alors que j'avais mis des boules quies. Je n'ai pas mis 5* à cause de ça.
Il y a beaucoup à visiter dans les alentours.
