04/03/2026: We discovered this place on a recommendation. The setting is magnificent, the service impeccable, and the seasonal dishes delicious—the whole family loved it! However… on Saturday, February 28th, we were treated to a sorry spectacle from the chef: 15 minutes of a string of insults and grumpy gestures, all because of a supposed service error. He repeated this several times throughout the evening—the joys of a semi-open kitchen! So, a very mixed review: the experience could have been memorable and easily deserved 5 stars, but this lack of manners and stress management ruined everything and is truly unprofessional! Best of luck to the waitress who, unlike us, remained professional and attentive until the very end!

01/04/2026: A real gem in Chaumont! A warm and very professional welcome, a beautiful setting, and top-notch service. Special mention to the waitress, who was truly pleasant and attentive. After being turned away elsewhere because of our small dog, we were welcomed here without any problem—a real plus! 👍 As for the food: an excellent trout platter to share, a perfectly cooked beef fillet, and a fresh salad. Quality ingredients, everything was delicious. 👉 An address I highly recommend.

27/02/2026: A very welcoming restaurant owner who loves Brittany and serves excellent crêpes. I tried the Langres cheese crêpe with a side salad, and then the homemade dark chocolate crêpe. Crispy crêpe, generous filling. Don't be put off by the slightly dated decor, just go in and enjoy!

09/03/2026: We came to this restaurant hoping to have a good time, but the experience was quite disappointing. Many dishes were no longer available, and the trays weren't being refilled. As a result, we ended up having to eat only what was left, with very little choice. On several occasions, some trays were completely empty, and no one seemed to be coming to refill them. Furthermore, everything closes rather abruptly at 10 p.m. Dishes are removed without even asking customers if they still want more or if they're still hungry. It's quite frustrating when you pay for a meal and end up with almost nothing left to eat. It's a shame, because the concept could be nice, but the lack of restocking and the rushed closing give the impression that the customer experience isn't really a priority.

08/02/2026: This restaurant is truly magnificent, the decor is incredible, and the manager who served us was so pleasant and smiling—a real ray of sunshine. 23/12/2025: A very good meal at L’Inter’Val, ideally located near the Charles de Gaulle Memorial. The six-course menu is well-paced, with carefully prepared and beautifully presented dishes, including a high-quality foie gras. Professional service and a pleasant atmosphere. A very good address for a gourmet meal in the region.

14/12/2025: Restaurant located directly opposite the church in Colombey. Delighted with this dinner. Special mention goes to the three-course foie gras menu: the scallops with foie gras sauce were particularly delicious. The ribeye steak from the à la carte menu was excellent. Pleasant service; the two ladies were particularly welcoming. Very good selection of champagnes at reasonable prices. It's best to make a reservation, as the restaurant was quite full. I highly recommend it!

18/03/2026: The service was a bit slow. I had a Bento 3, which was fairly decent and reasonably priced, but I also ordered Cantonese rice. It arrived very late and I was extremely disappointed. There was no filling, just about ten pieces of bacon, a few eggs, and three peas lost in the bowl. I asked for a simple gesture of goodwill or a little more filling, and I was politely told, "It's normal for Cantonese rice not to have much filling." (The rice was mixed in the photo to create the illusion of more filling, but unfortunately, there was no surprise).

09/02/2026: On Sunday, a friend invited me to this restaurant I hadn't been to before, and what a pleasant surprise! A warm welcome, friendly and very professional waiters, impeccable service, a very good menu, and above all, absolutely delicious food. Everything was perfect; give it a try!

25/01/2026: Great restaurant, we went there twice while stopping in Chaumont. The waiters are very friendly and attentive, and the food is really very good.

28/02/2026: Repeat. No bad faith, please! Your employees were incredibly discourteous to each other, creating a huge silence in the dining room where everyone felt uncomfortable. As for the manager's attire, if Under Armour makes professional uniforms, know that these must be counterfeit, as he was wearing a black t-shirt and dark blue Under Armour sweatpants. Finally, the fries weren't good, and the color was off too. If you like, I can mention the waitress's lack of friendliness (with her piercings) and the rock-hard bread. Catastrophic! No one to greet us, overcooked fries in dirty oil, a manager in sweatpants, and on top of that, staff insulting each other in the kitchen…

15/03/2026: On my parents' recommendation, my partner and I went to this restaurant where the welcome wasn't very warm, with one waitress arguing with another in front of the other customers. The portions were generous, however, we were disappointed by the veal and oyster mushroom sauce, which was extremely salty; I had to force myself to finish my meal. A real shame!
