31/10/2025: We had lunch at this country restaurant on October 28, 2025, in the purest tradition of this type of establishment. The owner gave us a friendly, smiling, and warm welcome, even though there were only two of us dining. We enjoyed the local aperitif, Lo Cul Dra Haut, made with kirsch and cherry syrup. Then came a very generous country-style menu: omelet, sausage, salad, cheeses (a tasting plate), and tart. Alsatian white wine by the glass was also available (very good). The owner was open to conversation while respecting local traditions. So, if you're out hiking, stop by Gaby's and give it a try!

09/03/2026: A great restaurant for everyday dining. Maybe stop by for lunch. Real meals, not just fast food. Just like Mom used to make. Good value and plenty of food. For RVers: You can wash your vehicle, refuel, grab a bite to eat, and shop at ACHUN in the parking lot.

28/09/2025: After veering off the beaten track, taking shortcuts where two vehicles couldn't possibly pass each other, we finally arrived at this famous little canalside shop, well-known locally but still unknown to those looking for authentic gastronomy 🥺. So we put our gaiters on at 7 p.m. 🕖 (and dust) by the canal. The sun was already setting, but the atmosphere was cozy, with a little background music, a nice terrace, and a warm welcome from the little waitress 😆. After a short wait, the dishes were served and truly met our expectations: mussels at will, and for me, grilled sardines (like in Porquerolles 🤩 chic), it was my dream 🥺. We exchanged a few jokes with the friendly waitress (Zoé (?)) 😆 Yes, she's funny, mischievous, talkative, and brave, given that there aren't many trips back and forth 🤩. The delicious desserts were savored while blankets were kindly offered to us as the night's chill and the humidity from the Saint-Albin Canal fell on the banks. In Short: 🥺—>> I recommend <<—🥺

11/01/2026: Best kebab I've ever eaten, very clean. Wonderful welcome and a very, very good kebab with superb quality meat and generous toppings.

30/12/2025: Absolutely excellent, from the moment we arrived until we left. I opted for an Iskender kebab, which was delicious and fresh. The staff were very friendly; the owner and his wife took excellent care of us. We'll definitely be back! The place is very clean and has a good clientele.

14/04/2026: They try to charge us extra for things: they added a €9 kids' menu when there was only ice cream instead of just charging for the ice cream. They usually like to do that. Last time there was an extra plate.

24/04/2026: I'm writing this review because my partner and I waited 40 minutes for tea. The waitress kept giving us dirty looks and just handed us the menus. I want to make it clear that when you're working, you're working. You don't try to flirt with other customers; you serve them.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile and a warm atmosphere that immediately sets the tone. Generous appetizers, extraordinary and high-quality meats, perfectly cooked dishes, and above all, incredible profiteroles—the best dessert ever! We must truly commend the chef's skill, which is on par with a fine-dining restaurant. Thank you, thank you, thank you again! ❤️

08/04/2026: This review concerns only the restaurant. It's not our first time here, hence our disappointment. The food is decent, nothing special, certainly nothing like the rather gourmet experience I had in mind. A minor detail (or perhaps not), the dishes were served lukewarm. The young waitress who took care of our table was clearly inexperienced. She did her best, but the management is clearly lacking. When it came time to pay, she wasn't aware of the discount applicable to our table. She called her manager, who herself made several mistakes, and we later realized she had overcharged us by 6 euros... All of this highlights the shortcomings in management and the general lack of professionalism.
