Easy access. Parking. Negative points: Price €26.20 for a main course and drink (too expensive). I've eaten better for less. Slightly unusual welcome (a question that surprised me upon entry) Minor service error: serving a Coke without showing the bottle to the customer (was it a small or large bottle??) Dry bread (apparently pre-cut). Vegetable flavor (average) Quantity (limited) Cooking method (not requested when ordering) Dessert: White chocolate mousse on orange marmalade: more beautiful than tasty (a shame - nothing special). No contactless payment (apparently you have to enter the code).

15/04/2026: A very good restaurant in the heart of Vesoul's old town, with a lovely atmosphere and unique, very welcoming decor. We opted for the largest set menu; the price was quite reasonable, and it was incredibly filling—so much so that we skipped the cheese course, even though we're big fans of it, being from the Franche-Comté region! I sincerely recommend it; moreover, the lunch prices are more than reasonable.

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and immediately puts you at ease. The restaurant has a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, with a small menu, but that's precisely what makes it so special: carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. 07/02/2026: The intimate dining room, decorated with a charming, nostalgic feel, evokes the homes of our parents and grandparents. The waiter/owner was very pleasant and smiling. The cuisine has become simpler, with a smaller menu featuring high-quality, local products. The menu changes every two weeks, but the classic dishes remain. This restaurant has been revitalized since the change of chef. I highly recommend this restaurant.

14/04/2026: We booked this restaurant for a birthday meal with a pre-selected menu. The reservation process went very smoothly, with truly pleasant and efficient service. On the day itself, the service was a little slow, and the waitstaff weren't yet fully familiar with the menu. But this is a minor detail—everyone has to learn, and it didn't spoil our experience. The meal, however, was excellent from start to finish: a very successful starter, a delicious main course, and a particularly enjoyable dessert, with a small birthday treat that's always appreciated. A restaurant that takes great care of its guests, which we wholeheartedly recommend!

05/03/2026: What a delightful discovery this PMU bistro-restaurant is! While the decor is undeniably rustic, a relic of another era, the generous cuisine, also inherited from this mystical past, is a true delight. The sweetbreads were delicious. A fine selection of offal dishes is also available, including kidneys, calf's head, black pudding, and ribeye steak for a classic touch. The homemade fries are exceptional, and the dessert menu is superb, featuring profiteroles, vacherin, chocolate mousse, and more. Thank you, gentlemen of the management! Be aware that there will soon be a change of ownership. Hurry!

06/03/2026: One star only, because it's impossible to give zero: the telephone reception was DISASTROUS from the very first second. Of course, everyone has their bad moods sometimes, but if this gentleman wants to vent his frustrations, he should avoid answering the phone. We obviously didn't go back, given the rudeness on the phone. And I will NEVER set foot in that restaurant again.
