12/09/2024: L'endroit est bien placé, le service est plutôt rapide, les plats sont simples et bons et le coût est modéré ; donc, une bonne pause déjeuner.
05/09/2024: Locale in cui non posso fare a meno di andare quando sono a Chamonix. Quest’anno vi ho pranzato ben tre volte in una settimana. Le omelettes (con scelta molto ampia) sono davvero ottime, ma anche i piatti savoiardi non sono da meno. Notevole la carta dei vini. Bella location e Il personale è da dieci e lode. Ottima l’accoglienza riservata ai cani.

21/08/2024: Petit restaurant avec un accueil sympathique. La serveuse était agréable et souriante.
Côté cuisine, les Burger sont de bonnes qualités et assez conséquent. Les menus enfants sont assez chers, surtout pour des frites nuggets.
Côté addition, c'est assez cher pour ce genre de restaurant mais nous avons passé néanmoins une bonne soirée.

16/09/2024: We went one evening in August for our last evening and we had a great evening alongside Angus the singer who we loved! The service was great and we had a great time! We will come back!
01/09/2024: A great little vibe with good food and delicious cocktails!
Although we were there too early for the kitchen to be open, the bartender was helpful in advising us when the chef would be in and ready for cooking.
He was able to tell me of different foods to suit my allergen and I wasn’t disappointed.
Great experience!

22/08/2024: This is very misleading, because there is a very expensive restaurant (that we went to) and a cafeteria (much better value, that we wished we’d gone to!).
We paid €350 for 2 adults and 4 children. The food was very poor, and the service equally poor. The pepper starter was the most bizarre thing we’ve ever eaten. The aubergine dish tasted like a cross between stale liquorice and burnt toast. We thought at least there would be incredible views, but the restaurant is very small with small windows. The views in the cafeteria are far better. Don’t waste your money in the fancy restaurant, just go to the cafeteria!

23/08/2024: I stayed for two nights during my TMB trek. The rooms were small and not very clean, and the bathroom could use more attention. The breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options available.
19/08/2024: By chance we stopped by to have a drink because the bus stop was next to us. We were surprised because we ordered several dishes and they were delicious. The super friendly guys took great care of us

20/09/2024: The service is so disorganized and distracting. Some of the food is salty, and some are bland. The portions are very small. Service attitude isn't friendly. Fortunately, the restaurant looks clean.
15/09/2024: Although we see some mixed reviews we thought everything was excellent. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious dinner.

29/08/2024: Foods were delicious. However, a bit expensive for lunch with a bill around €100 for 2 people. But it’s Chamonix!
24/08/2024: Very friendly and professional staff, good organization: someone comes to greet us as soon as we arrive, which avoids waiting stupidly like in other restaurants... the staff comes by regularly to see if we are missing anything.
In addition, the setting is magical with a view of the Chamonix needles and Mont Blanc.

18/08/2024: Breakfast is not proportional to the cost, better to have it in a bar. The rooms are basic and I didn't find any hair shampoo, plus there was very little shower gel.

10/09/2024: While passing through Chamonix for work, I stopped at the Irish.
The continuous service is a real plus when you work.
But what's more, the taste and presentation of the dishes are top notch.
I had a daily special for 14€90 with a rare presentation and quality of products.
If you also add a welcoming and smiling team, it is no longer by chance that I will come back, but on a regular basis when I am in the sector.

19/08/2024: Kitchen, cellar, bar, too much too far from the price level charged. It's well presented but the flavors are not there. And Nespresso for coffee ended up killing the game.

26/07/2024: Moesten nog de tafel indekken toen we er al waren, de kaart bleef weg zoals eigenlijk alles.... de service was beneden alle peil, veel te duur voor hetgeen we gekregen hebben. Bij een 3 gangenmenu blijkbaar ook geen amuse bouche , entree kregen we heel laat, hoofdschotel was duif met mais, dus duif met duiveneten ....zelfs geen aardappel bereiding erbij. En dan de dessert, puur confituur op een koekje en een sorbet erbij. Voor 75€ per persoon had ik hier veel meer van verwacht. Een keer en nooit meer!!!

06/04/2024: Endroit plutôt simple par rapport à la fameuse « Folie Douce ». Nous étions 4 dans le restaurant, ambiance assez malaisante de ce fait.. La fondue nous ai servie en 5min (comment est-elle faite ?..) Le pain est sec, l’eau n’est presque plus pétillante, les champignons dans la fondue ont une texture à revoir… le serveur à quand même été poli et aimable.
Dommage pour un lieu si réputé…
15/03/2024: Bof..... nous avons choisi une fondue au cèpe, elle était vraiment trop salée et assez quelconque. En plus pour l'accompagner, on vous propose des pommes de terre à l'eau plutôt que de la charcuterie !!!!
On a connu mieux à la folie douce.

30/09/2024: As a tourist, I'm still unsure if I was overcharged or not. When I asked for their most popular dish, they recommended the kebab wrap. I should have asked about the price beforehand, but they charged me 10 euros for an incredibly small portion. Given how tiny the wrap was for that price, it was by far the worst value I've ever experienced at a Turkish kebab restaurant.

25/09/2024: I recommend the carbonara. We ate so well that we returned two days later. Quick, attentive and friendly service. There are steps to enter but the terrace is accessible. There are two bathrooms and they are clean. They accept large groups since they don't mind putting tables together.

08/09/2024: Great concept, very good quality cuisine. On the other hand, the person who welcomed us was very unpleasant. She asked me to hurry up and choose my meal, which I found very rude and inappropriate especially since it was 11:30 a.m. and a lady had only just entered the store so there was no wait. In addition, I bought tea which has expired since February 2024. Really very disappointed and surprised by this welcome. I have never been received so badly...
05/09/2024: Very rude server. I shared a coffee with a friend then went back to purchase a cake when she informed me I only had 30 minutes because other customers will need to sit.
It’s a shame, latte was good but wouldn’t go back for this reason
