29/02/2024: I went there again this year and I was always just as satisfied, the pork belly was succulent and very tasty, congratulations to the Chef!!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant

24/09/2024: Clean room, warm shower, excellent food! What more can you ask for on tmb? I think the place is run by only 2 people, so it gets pretty quiet after 8, dead quiet after 9. It is a quick 10 min walk to town where you can find good breakfast.

24/09/2024: The food was good. The only complaint would be the lack of soundproofing in the building. The people in the rooms next to us were so loud and the doors creaked and got slammed so many times. You can hear everything!

29/09/2024: We had coffee Saturday morning at La Potinière. The service was friendly and the place pleasant. We had two coffees, each costing €3.50. It's a bit excessive for a simple cafe, but maybe that's due to the touristy location. We also observed a customer ordering a fondue around midday. What surprised us was that during service, the handle for stirring the fondue was left in the fondue pot at the customer's house. In Switzerland, it's not done like that, but it was interesting to discover another way of doing things. A fun little cultural difference to observe.

26/09/2024: We stopped in for a late lunch early dinner on a rainy afternoon in Chamonix. I was attracted to the Menu du Marche, which consisted of Salade, Duck Confit and Tiramasu for 16 Euro! The food was delicious and we received fabulous service as we watched the rain. It was a great way to end our visit to Chamonix, which had turned on overcast but lovely weather until then rain.

01/10/2024: The best hotel on our 2 week trip on Europe. My family enjoyed our stay and my daughter loved the breakfast. The only advice is to add more vegan friendly stuff for breakfast. Thank you

30/09/2024: I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say that the overall experience was very positive. First of all, location is one of its great assets. Nestled in a strategic location, the hotel offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area and Mont Blanc, which brings a feeling of relaxation and tranquility as soon as you enter the room. Moreover, the room itself is a real success. Very spacious, it offers all the comfort one could hope for. The design is neat, modern, and the atmosphere is very pleasant to live in. The equipment provided is also of high quality, making the stay even more pleasant. It’s a place where you quickly feel at ease, and where you enjoy spending time. Special mention to the bedding, remarkably comfortable, perfect for restful nights. However, a few small details could still be improved to make the experience perfect. Nothing dramatic, but perhaps the soundproofing of the rooms could be reviewed. It is sometimes possible to hear noises coming from the street, which may disturb those who are light sleepers. Additionally, even if the service was friendly, a little more responsiveness or attention to detail would be welcome during busy times. In conclusion, this hotel offers an exceptional setting and undeniable comfort. Despite some adjustments that could make it even more pleasant, the experience remains very satisfactory, and I without hesitation recommend this establishment for a relaxing and pleasant stay.

11/06/2024: The sliding door of your restaurant damaged my friend's new ski mask (the whole story in the comments below). No response from you despite the numerous emails sent to make your civil liability insurance work. No commercial gesture or compassion on your part. Here it is, eat, pay, get out. Too bad because being local we would strongly advise against your establishment.

09/05/2024: Very disappointed with the owner of this establishment. We ate here on the way down from skiing. We had put our masks and helmets on the table next to us to start but as people arrived, the waitress asked us to take them off. There is no place other than on our own table. During the meal, by surprise the automatic door next to us moves and knocks over our things. My ski mask, which had only been used a few times, is scratched (and not just a little). I'm going to politely ask him if it's possible to get the restaurant's civil insurance. He gets directly defensive, tells me that it won't work because it's my fault if my mask is on the table (there was no other place to put it, for a restaurant at the bottom of the slopes it 's not very smart). After discussion he agrees to give me his email address so that I can send him the invoice for my mask. What I do when I get home. After a week, no news. So I go back to the restaurant but he is absent, I leave him a note. He replies to me by email that after viewing the cameras he is certain that the insurance will not cover it because we see that it is me who puts the mask on the table. He tells me that he still made the request to his insurance. I ask him for proof that he made the request but for two weeks no news from him. I would like to point out that he also made no move on the final bill for the meal, which was still substantial, and was really rude to me. This gentleman is really neither commercial nor accommodating. It didn't cost him anything to have his insurance work. I still hope that he will respond to my last email but I doubt it. I wouldn't come back. Too bad because the Savoyard crust was very good.

28/01/2025: We love it here at The Office, popped in a few times during our stat in Argentiere, food was always excellent, lots of beers to choose from and good wines and cocktails. Service always friendly and quick. Good for apres ski too. Love the doggys too!

31/08/2024: I went there with my family after our visit to the Mer de Glace, as it was super close to the train station. The food was outstanding, real quality. We ordered the vegetable curry rice and ramen. For our kids the ramen for kids was fantastic as well. The mochi were great too! Totally recommended

16/09/2024: We went one evening in August for our last evening and we had a great evening alongside Angus the singer who we loved! The service was great and we had a great time! We will come back!

01/09/2024: A great little vibe with good food and delicious cocktails! Although we were there too early for the kitchen to be open, the bartender was helpful in advising us when the chef would be in and ready for cooking. He was able to tell me of different foods to suit my allergen and I wasn’t disappointed. Great experience!

12/09/2024: L'endroit est bien placé, le service est plutôt rapide, les plats sont simples et bons et le coût est modéré ; donc, une bonne pause déjeuner.

05/09/2024: Locale in cui non posso fare a meno di andare quando sono a Chamonix. Quest’anno vi ho pranzato ben tre volte in una settimana. Le omelettes (con scelta molto ampia) sono davvero ottime, ma anche i piatti savoiardi non sono da meno. Notevole la carta dei vini. Bella location e Il personale è da dieci e lode. Ottima l’accoglienza riservata ai cani.

16/09/2024: Beautiful architecture in an excellwnt location in Chamonix, by the river, but painted a terrible pink color, not fitting the style. Snotty staff, overpriced menu.

29/08/2024: Foods were delicious. However, a bit expensive for lunch with a bill around €100 for 2 people. But it’s Chamonix!

24/08/2024: Very friendly and professional staff, good organization: someone comes to greet us as soon as we arrive, which avoids waiting stupidly like in other restaurants... the staff comes by regularly to see if we are missing anything. In addition, the setting is magical with a view of the Chamonix needles and Mont Blanc.
