Les meilleurs restaurants en Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

08/09/2024: Hello, passing through Chamonix after a Tour of Mt Blanc in bivouac, I decide to stop for breakfast, having had a good experience in Aix les Bains and Sallanches...in CHAMONIX it's the Cata!! When the employee asks you if you absolutely want butter in your 8€20 formula!!! under the pretext that there are no more... and to answer her a big YES at that price... because after 5 days of bivouac I want it, which gently makes her smile a little. Finally, the employee goes to get some from behind in bulk, and puts some in a cup. I deduce that in the end there was butter, certainly not packaged, and if the customer doesn't ask for anything, we increase the profit!!! Finally, if this profit is reinjected into cleaning products (toilet, table, floor) and elbow grease which are not worthy of an ERP and even more so in Chamonix, why not. But following the established formula, the information will be passed on, but above all it must be followed by effects. Sincerely

26/08/2024: Dynamic young team, the flaky Savoie crosses, the Swiss, soft sesame mint, the sandwiches: everything is very good, price a little high, but we are in Chamonix!

29/08/2024: Rather expensive for really average food. The waitress is great, but she was the only one providing the service even though there were a lot of groups and people..

22/08/2024: This is very misleading, because there is a very expensive restaurant (that we went to) and a cafeteria (much better value, that we wished we’d gone to!). We paid €350 for 2 adults and 4 children. The food was very poor, and the service equally poor. The pepper starter was the most bizarre thing we’ve ever eaten. The aubergine dish tasted like a cross between stale liquorice and burnt toast. We thought at least there would be incredible views, but the restaurant is very small with small windows. The views in the cafeteria are far better. Don’t waste your money in the fancy restaurant, just go to the cafeteria!

30/09/2024: As a tourist, I'm still unsure if I was overcharged or not. When I asked for their most popular dish, they recommended the kebab wrap. I should have asked about the price beforehand, but they charged me 10 euros for an incredibly small portion. Given how tiny the wrap was for that price, it was by far the worst value I've ever experienced at a Turkish kebab restaurant.

25/08/2024: France 🇫🇷 Chamonix - restaurants We stopped in briefly for a quick ice cream a little over a week ago. The ice cream was delicious. However, as others have mentioned, the wait time could be improved. We had to track down our server for the bill so we could move on to our next stop, and it took a while to place our order as well. Aside from that, the location is great and the place is clean. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere.
