Les meilleurs restaurants en Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

06/05/2026: I went to Chamonix with my friends for a short break. We had a lot of trouble on the way there, and when we arrived, we discovered this lovely restaurant. The welcome was fantastic: the waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. I had the ravioli gratin with Reblochon cheese, and honestly, hats off to the chef: it was delicious!

02/05/2026: Top-notch restaurant! The food is truly homemade, the service is very fast and friendly, I highly recommend it.

03/05/2026: My boyfriend and I came to eat a Savoyard fondue. The menu stated "€25 minimum 2 people" and in tiny print in the top right corner, "€25 price per person," practically invisible on the menu. We were served in less than 5 minutes. The fondue pot was disgusting; the bottom was black and it smelled like burnt cheese. As for the cheese, I don't think it had just been made because it had already formed a crust on top, and there were black bits in our fondue... (if we had wanted to eat leftovers, we would have stayed home). The charcuterie was very average; the cooked ham was very fatty with tough pieces. A small mention for the cured ham, which was delicious (the only good thing about the meal, actually). The menu stated "served with croutons," but we didn't get toasted croutons; instead, we got stale bread that was probably from the day before (or maybe even earlier). The potatoes had sprouted! I didn't know they could serve potatoes full of sprouts in a restaurant… As for the service, we were very disappointed as well; one of the waitresses used a very informal manner. In the end, we paid 50 euros for a disgusting fondue. The one from the ready-made bag at Carrefour is no better than the one at this restaurant.

01/05/2026: We went to this restaurant. The waiter was unpleasant, the service was mediocre. We ordered a plate of rare meat, but when we told him it was overcooked, he brought us another plate with the same pieces. As for the beef bourguignon, the pieces were mostly fat, the vegetables were overcooked, and the sauce was too thick. In short, I don't recommend it. 👎👎👎👎

28/04/2026: I don't recommend this place. They're incredibly polite, blowing their noses at the table, and they don't serve you. I waited 40 minutes for them to take my order and they never came.

06/04/2026: Very expensive, poor quality, and the service is stressful. The only nice thing is the view.

28/05/2026: I ordered the beef burger; the portion of meat was unbeatable, and it came with fries and lettuce. My second order was a steak; the steak was clean and delicious.

24/05/2026: We asked if we could sit on the terrace. We were told yes, and someone immediately came to take our order without giving us the menu. We ordered two flavors of ice cream, and the waiter told us he wasn't sure if he had one of them and asked us to choose another just in case. When he arrived, he told me he'd put raspberry on because he didn't have either of the other two (strawberry and mango), so we had no choice. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Anyway, €26 for a shandy, a beer, a crepe, and two scoops of ice cream.

10/05/2026: It takes a very long time to be served. I ordered fries that tasted burnt. I told the waiter, and he said he would replace them. However, after 20 minutes, I was served the exact same fries again. Therefore, I cannot recommend this place.

22/04/2026: Reasonable prices, good sandwiches and good fries...

19/03/2026: Bare minimum. 52 euros for two chicken stews and dauphinoise potatoes. 10 euros for a draft beer. Not good. No service. In short, necessity and the abuse of necessity.
